    Enjoyed our anniversary dinner here and it did not disappoint. We've placed Dakota's on our list for special dinners. Bang Bang Shrimp was amazing for our starter! We also enjoyed our salmon dishes - easily subbed rice out for cream spinach. It was all delish and we will be back soon! O, took home complimentary slice of cheesecake to enjoy as well! Thank you Dakota's. :)

    Wonderful service and food! The salmon was amazing! I also had grilled shrimp on the side and it was very good also! Cocktail was so good also! I will definitely be back soon!

    This was the third time we dined at Dakotas and had an issue with the temperature of our steaks. If they can only prepare steak at the correct temperature by butterflying it then say that and allow us to make an informed decision about our meal. I would have ordered the red snapper if that were the case and not paid for the wagyu that I took home and finished cooking. I asked for medium plus and it was rare. The server checked all of the boxes but had zero personality for our table but was not the same with her other tables. Not sure if I will return in the near future.

    Service was excellent. Food was mediocre. My pecan crusted seabass was well cooked, but I don’t think it was pecan crusted and it was very under seasoned. The sides, asparagus and sautéed mushrooms, were bland. Nothing exceptional about the meal.

    Steak was average, but not worth $50+. I had the garlic mashed potatoes and they tasted like they had no seasoning at all, as well as the carrot the plate came with. Came here for a date with my wife, but it’s dimly lit, loud, and the tables are oddly too long. We felt like we couldn’t really talk to each other, because of the distance between us due to the table, the noise level in the room, and the proximity of other guests. It felt like we had to shout just to have a conversation. Save yourself the trouble and go to a bar, where you can sit next to each other and spend way less money for the same quality of food/drinks. This place isn’t it. The positive I have to say is the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, but not overbearing. We left a generous tip, because it isn’t his fault the establishment sucks.

    Food was way over cooked and had to be sent back by multiple people at our table. The steaks were charred on the outside which made them hard to eat. Waiter was ok and nice. But food was really bad. Wish we would have went somewhere else for our anniversary. Probably won’t good back here again.

    Dakotas is always a nice evening. Our steak was perfect, and sides done right — Brussel sprouts crispy but not overdone, scalloped potatoes creamy, and baked potato light and fluffy.

    This is our third time eating at this restaurant. The first experience was very good. We had a booth, great wait service, good food, and the ambiance was great. The second time, we were told that all booths had been reserved, even though I had reserved a booth for that evening through the app for our wedding anniversary celebration. We stayed and were seated at a table, that was in a direct pathway to the view of the kitchen. As we were sitting there, I noticed that none of the booths were being occupied during our time in the restaurant. Yet we were told that those areas had already been reserved for the evening. We had decided to not return to the restaurant, but after a year or so, we decided to give them another try. We were able to get seating today @ 3:15pm, with a private booth, as requested. But then we had to ask for bread and butter, which we were told that it was not available until after 5:00pm, the waiter had looked, hoping to be able to get us some bread before that time. Then they brought our food out, a salad for my wife and the Wagyu ribeye, with whipped potatoes and no baby carrots! We were told that they had no more baby carrots and I could opt for another side. I chose the macaroni and cheese and had to wait for it to be baked. The macaroni and cheese did not taste very good. All the while trying to eat our meal, we had to deal with a fly or a gnat that constantly harrassed us. Not very satisfied with our overall service so far!

    The whole experience was wonderful. My husband and I were celebrating my birthday. The service was awesome, she suggested the Akaushi Wagyu Ribeye steak. It was the best steak I have ever had.

    Had our first date there last night. Service was best I've had in a long while (and as a former server, I'm picky). Food was fantastic, and the ambiance was perfect. I recommend a cocktail in the secluded bar before... Nice atmosphere. We will not hesitate to go back again. Date went SUPER!

    Really good food. Started out with mushrooms and then a chop house salad. Steak was ordered medium but was more medium rare. It was still very good, and I definitely ate all of it! Subbed the mashed & asparagus for scalloped potatoes and broccoli. Very good scalloped potatoes. Finished off with an amazing creme brulee.

    Had a wonderful lunch experience, ask for Scott, super accommodating, my wife asked how spicy was the soup was so he brought her some to taste, food was excellent, soup was so good we ordered some for bring home.

    This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. After dinner we went to the patio to enjoy another cocktail and listen to live music.

    Dakotas went above expectation for my husbands retirement dinner party. Tyler the manager- was wonderfully accommodating and Gabby our waitress was exceptional and very sweet. Food was outstanding, as always. We were in the small private dining room and it was perfect for our gathering. I have always had a wonderful experience at Dakotas and will always think of this steak house first for events.

    Great dining ambiance. The Gulf Snapper and filet with garlic mashed potatoes were done to perfection. The complimentary cheesecake in recognition of our 45th anniversary was a nice finishing touch.

    Food was very good. Our waiter was not very attentive but when one of his coworkers noticed he took control and met our needs quickly. He even reduced our tab to make amends for the poor service of his coworker which was appreciated. Will return again!!

    Food as always was very good. Scalloped potatoes and brussels sprouts are new to the menus since our last visit and great additions. Scalloped potatoes were even better than the old au gratin ones. Will definitely get them again. Only issue was our salads were forgotten. But our server did bring one out after we got our steaks, my wife said she didn't want her Caesar but once I got my Wedge she wished she would have. We'll be back.

    Everything from the appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and lamb lollipops) to our wagyu steaks were incredible. Charring on the steaks was spot on, flavors were fantastic, the meat was incredibly tender, overall a fantastic meal. Our server was incredibly attentive and on top of her game. My only concern was that the dessert menu did not have much variety in terms of texture and flavors. The only item that I could enjoy would have taken 25 minutes to make as they are made to order.
