Our New Years Eve dining experience was just perfect! The food was excellent and customer service was wonderful. Can’t wait to frequent this restaurant again!

New Year’s Eve

It was my wife's birthday and the staff that interacted with her wished her happy birthday. The food and the service was great.

Everything was excellent as usual, however, the table next to us was full of ladies who obviously had too much to drink. As such, they were laughing, cackling, and carrying on and loud and obnoxious voices. Disturbed us throughout the dinner. I have eaten at Dakotas many times and this is the first time I have ever experienced something like this.

This is the only reason for some of the low marks. The service and food were excellent as usual.

I have been here several times and the food just wasn’t as good as it normally is. Not even close. Service was exceptionally well but the food was just average. So disappointed because this was one of my favorite restaurants.

Dakota’s Is one our favorite restaurants on the Northshore, the food is always fabulous.

The food was very good, however the room where we dined had either a view of a motel or the highway, lacking ambiance for the upscale restauran.

Reveillon meal was exceptional! Service amazing ! Merideth was attentive and knowledgeable. Love, love,love The Dakota!!!

We spend nearly every special occasion at Dakota. The wonderful food aside, they spoil us. No request is refused, and they offer far more than the menu says. We love it!

Birthday and anniversary

Birthday dinner for my husband. We had Doris Gras and duck mousse apps and duck and veal entrees. Drinks were perfect, the food was delicious and our waitress was terrific! Very enjoyable evening.

Only thing I think the wait staff was spread too thin. Not the waiters fault. Everything great

Noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. Food was good but very slow. Server did his best, I suspect the trouble was with the kitchen. Noise level was a downer.

My wife and I went for our anniversary on Saturday. I am in the business and still have to say it was really nice. Manager presence was very good, staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly (even through masks), and the food was really some of the best I’ve had in a while. If you like wine, they have a much bigger wine list than I’d expect for the northshore and some really fun selections. Lastly the chef delivered our food and was very noticeable on the floor, which is a great touch. Will definitely be back. Oh and the make a great old fashioned!

Excellent as always!!

The only issue I had was the Whiskey Sour was more sour than whiskey.

The Oysters Mosca were perfect and the Seafood Beignets my wife had were out of this world. I had the Redfish Pontchartrain and my wife had the Soft Shell Crab. Both were excellent. The Crème Brulee was great as well.

To top it all off, out server, John, was very attenuative to our needs. He helped make our wedding anniversary very memorable indeed.

It was my partners birthday ..the service was TOP NOTCH for sure !!..the food was great , can’t wait to try something different next time .

Hostess was very welcoming, server helpful describing food choices and food was good. Only complaint would be very small bowl of soup for$11
