About Daily Grill - Santa Monica
The Daily Grill in Santa Monica is a great place to gather for lunch or dinner. The appetizers are always cooked fresh and include the famous cutting board. This is a special chefs selection of meats that have been cured, along with a sampling of artisan cheese. Also popular at Daily Grill is the seared rare ahi tuna.
The main course consists of a range of items with chicken, seafood or beef as the primary staple. The parmesan herb crusted chicken is always popular, as is the New York strip steak grilled to order. Daily Grill also has a full bar, making it a great place to gather for those after work cocktails.

Daily Grill - Santa Monica Ratings and Reviews
The food and service here are always consistent.
Servers are attentive.
Food is served fresh and hot.
On this occasion it was very crowded and noisy
with customers. We were seated immediately and
I would recommend this restaurant for dinner or
lunch any day of the week.
Haven't been to a Daily Grill in many years. Last time was @ the one in Studio City (of which I wasn't a big fan). What a delightful surprise to find the one in Santa Monica - spacious, modern, exceptional food, great service. My guest came from "beautiful" downtown Burbank & we all really enjoyed lunch. Will surely be going back.
It was a "girls night out" and an opportunity to get caught up. There was a chance to try a new
restaurant - I previously enjoyed The Grill on Hollywood/Vine. The Daily Grill was great from the wait staff to the food. Definitely plan to return for another really great meal.
Had an enjoyable meal with excellent service on Saturday night. The food was superb with salmon and chicken/ribs combination coming out hot with great flavor. Our server was enthusiastic and friendly with a great attitude. This is one of our "go-to" places for a reliable meal that is a step above the ordinary.
It was extremely noisy when we entered. The bar area was completely
full and energetic.
We were seated immediately at a booth near the window.
We waited more than ten minutes for a server to arrive.
When he arrived, we asked about the Monday fried chicken
special and that we wanted to order it. He returned and
told us they were out of fried chicken. It was before 7PM.
We were surprised and very disappointed.
We ordered other things but were not enthusiastic about
any of it. We may try another Monday for the special.
I was seated immediately and my server approached quickly.
When my guest arrived the server came and took her drink order.
We ordered our meals and they were brought in a timely manner.
The food was good, fresh and tasty. Our server checked back
to see if we needed anything more.
When she learned that we were celebrating a birthday,
she said she would bring us something
sweet. She delivered a little brownie with a scoop of ice cream and
wished me a "happy birthday". She was very nice and friendly.
We enjoyed our lunch completely.
Two couples went. Our friends ordered the short ribs. they found them tough and fatty. They complained to the waitress. She offered to get them something else. They declined as they didn't want to wait while we ate. I would have sent them back.
No financial compensation was offered and the manager never made an appearance. Shame on them.
The negative part was it took 40 minutes to get our food and one of the three dishes had cold rice because of this. And the steak was overcooked because of this on the second dish. Two problems were corrected after a while and we were given free desserts but it was also a birthday celebration for my lady friend. Food however was excellent!
The service was a friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The food was tasty and well-priced. Try the chicken pot pie if they run out of meatloaf (limited daily offering), get a lemonade and don't forget the bread and butter to start the meal off right.
