I found the ambience a bit gloomy. It is really dark in the restaurant and not very attractive.
The food was quite good and our waitress was excellent.

The food was excellent, as always, and the rib eye beats any steak I've had in NYC, Chicago, KC, LA, Vegas or Palm Desert!

Great food, quiet corners, not overly busy for a late lunch, comfortable seating for long, leisurely meals. You can reserve parking as well as your table online. Have been dining at Dahlia's for years; business lunch, date night, family Christmas dinner, Dad's 80th birthday. Highly recommend.

This was my first dining experience at Dahlia Lounge. Had the warm turkey sandwich, double YUM. The cranberries & homemade potato chips that came with were absolutely delicious.

Service was awesome, felt totally taken care of, and paid attention to the entire time we were there.

Would totally go back again.

One of the few places I have found Arctic Char on the menu and it was delicious. The service was well-timed and allowed us to relax and enjoy. Love the atmosphere. A few items were a bit over priced but most of the menu was not.

Everything was great - but what really made our experience was how thoughtful the staff were to hold our table for 90 minutes. We had a car accident on the way down from Mukilteo and let them know. They kept it for us (my wife's 60rth birthday get together) and were so thoughtful when we arrived.

Good food as usual--interesting but not pretentious/gaudy. Quiet, competent service. Muted lighting and good table arrangements. Pleasurable unhurried evening dinner.

Typically I’ve had a good experience here but this time I was let down. Waitress left us for extended period of times with empty drinks, main course took over 45 min, one was cold, others were just warm, didn’t have time to send it back (we had a show). Last but not least my favorite coconut cream pie...unfortunately, the ratio of pudding to cream was 20/80, some bites couldn’t even taste the pudding, completely different from prior visits. With the built in gratuity of 20% we left feeling disappointed.

All 3 of our orders came out cold - eggs Benedict cold is not a yummy dish. The flavor would have been good if warm or hot but yet it wasn’t. The only thing that came out hot were the doughnuts which are the saving grace and why I gave it a 3 star for food instead of a 1. YES they are THAT good... pillow of heaven!
We usually hit Lola’s because Brunch is only offered on the weekends here.... however a couple years ago my husband had the eggs Bennie and it was SO fantastic that we bragged about it to anyone and everyone we could and have been craving it ever since.... sadly I feel bad for all the people I might have sent this way.

Dahlia Lounge has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is always delicious, service is gracious, setting is warm and welcoming and it never disappoints- not an easy feat for a restaurant that had been around for 20+ years. Kudos to Tom Douglas for maintaining the creative use of local ingredients, fine attention to detail in food prep and excellence in creating a dining environment that fosters the enjoyment of his wonderful food.

From the moment we were greeted at the door until we finished and left, we had one of the best experiences we ever had in a restaurant. The hostesses were so gracious and lovely. We were given a table by the window (I had requested it if possible as it was my husband and I’s 20th anniversary). Our waitress, Jennifer, was extremely knowledgeable and comfortable with every item on the menu and gave us truly wonderful suggestions as she understood what we were looking for after talking to us a bit. We started with those delicious, briny oysters, followed by mussels (oh my god delectable). The persimmon salad was a riff of the tired melon prosciutto salad and my god were all those notes played exactly correct. We had the rockfish and crab cakes for our entry and every bite of those were just off the charts. We finished with 3 desserts (because why the hell not). The fabulous triple coconut cream pie, the pear tart with bay leaf ice cream (oh yeah!), and the homemade doughnuts with a couple decaf cappuccino’s with the foamiest milk I’ve ever seen. When we lived in Seattle 15 years ago - this was one of our favorites. And it blew us away even more today! My goodness. Every ingredient was fresh and delicious and cooked with care and thoughtfulness. The service was beyond exceptional and our waitress (literally - the best We’ve EVER had) made the food and ambiance all come together by conducting us through the symphony of food. The team as a hole all worked together so very well. I don’t think I’ve seen people like what they do as much as the team at Dahlia’s. I’m absolutely and totally serious when I tell you it was one of the best - if not THE BEST - experiences we have ever had in a restaurant. AND we live in New York City! All I can say is thank you! We can’t wait to come back to Seattle and make our visit with you a definite part of our itinerary. AMAZING!!

Mediocre and overpriced. 20% tip is automatically added to every check and unfortunately our waiter didn't deserve it. He didn't seem to give a crap about us or our experience. I personally hate this new tipping policy. Instead of being paid for performance, it's everyone gets the same. There's no incentive for providing great service.

This is one of my favorite restaurants & would have earned all 5 stars, except for the main dish. It was the rockfish. I didn't care for the preparation -- drowning in celery flavor. The martini & dessert were both outstanding, however. The server recommended a gin I hadn't had in a while, & it was wonderful. The pear dessert is one I have every time I'm at Dahlia Lounge, & it never disappoints. A truly world class dessert!

I knew the bakery was great, but wasn’t prepared for how much I liked Dahlia Lounge! It was terrific - food, service, everything. I’m not a very adventurous eater, but my sister ordered the acorn squash and I tried it. Unbelievably delishious.

Saturday brunch at 1:30 (they close at 2pm) - food was VERY disappointing: hard biscuits, rubbery omelets, potatoes not great. Seemed like it was food sitting around and we were the last customers. The waiter was great though - accommodated our request to move to a smaller table (after the front desk hostesses said it wasn't possible - even though there were clearly tables available) - Lazy?? Love Tom Douglas restaurants - but I will stick to dinner at Dahlia Lounge - no more brunch there.

Mr. Douglas comes through again with a wonderful dining experience. I felt lucky that our party of 4 was able to book a reservation on short notice for a convenient timeslot -- we got right in and were attended to promptly. Everything went great from there! Appetizers were splendid (oysters and fried-green-tomatoes). The entrees were a delight -- I recommended the house specialty crabcakes to my out of town friends and they were amazed. I had the rockfish special, which was extraordinary. The chorizo accompaniment was a joy. Desert was a shared plate of some vanilla custard/pudding that we all fought over. Awesome. Jeeesh! It was good! The only negative, and just a slight one -- the booth was a tad cramped for 4 people. And, it was noisy. Thanks Tom.

We were seated quickly at a nice booth. Our orders were taken in the timely manner. The Server came over and was pleasant and ready to take our order. Everything was fine until the food came.
The Herb Omelet with Chanterelle's was slimy and underdone and cold! No one ever came back to check on our meal. No one ever asked how our food was. No one ever came by to see how we were doing. When we left no one said a word about anything, just bye!
I can only guess that with 20% gratuity as an automatic, no one cares and it shows.

My fiancé and I had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and it was incredible. I got the duck and he got the short ribs. The caramel dessert is my favorite! Trust me you are going to want to order it and you won’t regret it!!! The manager knew it was our anniversary so we got one of our desserts for free! So sweet! The service was great, they really took care of us!

We will go here again for sure!

Service was excellent; omelette so disappointing. $15 for a very bland 2-egg omelette. Very few chanterelles and cheese was almost nonexistent. Herbs not fresh; dried. I expect more from Dahlia - your meals should live up to your ambience and reputation and prices. Denny’s quality. Coffee and biscuits good though. Went with out of town friends who love Dahlia, but if it is my choice I will not go back again. Have been several times for brunch; this one was the nail in the coffin.
