Great atmosphere attentive service excellent menu and food was very good
Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Perfect for a special occasion!
Great service and delicious food. Lunch time was a new event for us.
We had a wonderful all round dining experience. Our server Suzie was exceptional!
Six of us gathered for an early Bday celebration. Ages 19-78. All aspects of our meal that lasted from 5:30-8.30 Sunday evening were excellent. Crab cakes and duck well deserve their fame as signature fishes. Our server was friendly and accommodating but not unctuous and had a good command of the wine list. The ambiance was classy and welcoming and quiet enough for conversation but not so quiet that our joyous laughter would offend other guests. Best duck ever. Vegan yams very good as well as salmon dish. Serving timing was perfect so we never felt rushed.
Four of us were celebrating a birthday, and we each ordered different items off the menu. We were so happy with the quality of the food. Usually one or two entrees are good, but every dish was exceptionally good. From the cocktail, salad, entree to desert, a great dinner! We also like the cozy setting and the feeling that customers are important and well cared for. Most newer, more pricey restaurants act as though you are lucky to get a table. We will make Dahlia Lounge our go to dinner destination from now on.
Service was great! Food ok, not worth $60 a plate by the time your done.
We have been to the Dahlia Lounge a few times over the years. The food is always tasty. Ambiance is very nice, too. Our only issue this time was the overall attitude of the staff. We arrived about 40 minutes early, expecting to wait at the bar for our reservation time. The male host seemed irritated that we arrived early and seemed condescending when pointing out empty seats at the bar. The bar tender acted bothered when we ordered a bottle of wine from him. The hostess who seated us at our reservation time was very friendly and welcoming. Then the waiter was disinterested. He never stopped back to check in on us, to find out if we liked our meal or needed anything more. We spent more than $250 but generally did not feel appreciated as customers. We are not sure if we will go back. We go out to a lot of great Seattle-area restaurants. The total experience here was, unfortunately, not to the level of other top restaurants.
Consistently good. A visit is not complete without the coconut cream pie!
Food was fabulous!
Dahlia Lounge offers consistently delicious food. It's always innovative with interesting combinations in a dish, but never pretentious. I hope this doesn't offend, because I mean it in the most complimentary way possible, but it's like high-level home cooking, taken to a celestial plane. I love everything from the delicious olives in the martini to that famous coconut cream pie. I hope Dahlia Lounge keeps on doing the Seattle Restaurant Week and the DineAroundSeattle because it makes it affordable for me.
Have been there twice in the past month, once for our 30th anniversary and once for Restaurant Week. Both times were great. I like it when places are upscale but not snooty.
We had a wonderful evening. The waitstaff was attentive and the food good. Great evening.
It was restaurant week so the menu was limited but excellent. The noise level is a little higher than perfect but still very pleasant.
Always a great experience at Dahlia Lounge - this time we ordered through the Seattle Restaurant Week's menu with the wine pairing. It was a great meal and of course ended with my favorite coconut cream pie.
This was our first dining experience at Dahlia Lounge. We were pleasantly surprised with all the staffs excellent service, the atmosphere and the food was exceptional. The food was a total new experience and since it was restaurant week, we were able to try the starter, entrees and the desserts at a reasonable cost. I love coconut so the coconut cream pie was heavenly!!!
We went and ordered off the Seattle Restaurant Week menu. Great selections. Coctails were excellent also and service very prompt and friendly.
An enjoyable evening with friends from DC.
Service was great.
Smoked salmon omelette was cold, biscuits were stale. The potatoes were not edible....double fried, previous nights, left over baked potatoes(?). Other entrees were good, but potatoes and biscuits were not.
Great service & food!
Consistently amazing! I’ve been coming here for 25 years and I’ve never had a bad meal. The service is top notch as well.
Excellent! Breezy was our server and she rocked! We'll be back.
Always a fantastic delicious experience. This time, we were meeting a good friend from out of town, wanted a place we could have some time to catch up and enjoy a wonderful meal. We enjoyed sharing the 'signature' Dahlia entrees with our friend - crab cakes, duck, steak - don't ever forget the fries on the sides menu - a must every time.
Absolutely amazing night, made more special by the staff and ambiance. Food we superb and that pie is obviously famous for a reason. The pear salad was great though maybe slightly overdressed. Still one of the better evenings out I have had in a long time thanks to you. Will definitely be back.
The pours were generous, the scallops tartar was delicate and the coconut cream pit - A Delight!
The food was excellent! Highly recommend the scallops and the Alaskan cod.
Seattle Restaurant Week:: menu offerings were incredible and all delicious. Love the half-glass wine pairings option too.
We had an incredible Seattle Restaurant Week experience at Dahlia Lounge. Highly recommend the wine pairing. A lovely place for a date night.
Great service and food. I am not a fan of the added 20% gratuity. TIPS stands for To Insure Prompt Service. It should be up to the digression of the customer to make that evaluation. This visit was it was not a problem. But often, it is.
Very inventive entrée. Delicious Garnet yam with spinach and Suraci Sauce
My fifth visit. Love this place. Never been as good as my first time three years ago. Some dishes aren't great, just ok. Service and ambiance is always perfect.
It has been many years since we last went to Dahlia Lounge, and the place is still great. We had the Restaurant Week menu. The scallop crudo first course was really great. The main course of roast cod was quite good, but slightly overcooked. The server was great: attentive when we needed him, not hovering when we didn't need him, and he was a good help with the wine selection.
Celebrated husbands birthday
I was very underwhelmed by the pear salad, but the scallops were fantastic. I feel like there are some real stars on the menu, along with duds and average dishes. I would try to find a place a bit more consistent.
Went to Dahlia Lounge during Restaurant Week. Cocktails were good, but expensive. Starters (soup, salad), and main courses (fish, steak) were very good. Dessert was good, except for Coconut Cream Pie, which was not very good (whipped cream in a pie shell, some flaked coconut on top). A first class establishment.
Wonderful comfort food and ambiance!
We come back here time after time, because we always have a great experience. The staff are attentive without hovering. The food is great. And the atmosphere is very cordial. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Seattle.
Great service with high quality well prepared food.
Appetizers and drinks were good entrees were almost inedible (cold and salty). Great service and environment.
Everything at Dahlia Lounge is spot on! Food, service, ambiance!
Absolutely the best and highly recommend!
