Simply, always wonderful. Crab cake, warm cocktail topped with whipped cream, donuts for dessert. Perfect caring but unfussy service.
Jackie was an exceptional server. She was very friendly, courteous and attentive. Jackie anticipated what you needed even before you knew it. Jackie’s stellar customer service attitude along with delicious food made for an outstanding dining experience.
Always a 10/10 when we come here. Loved brunch, from the food to the cocktails to the service and ambiance. Highly recommend!
ALWAYS A GREAT SPOT TO CELEBRATE SPECIAL OCASSIONS.
The menu was fine. Nice cocktails. Nothing special, food only okay, and service so so. With so many choices, go somewhere else.
Fabulous spot for celebrating friends birthday! We started with the peaches and pistachios- divine. The salmon was superb. I’m gluten free not by choice and loved the crème custard. Server was so helpful in helping me order and very flexible kitchen. Perfect evening.
Wonderful in every way
The food and wine were wonderful, and our server was fantastic.
Dahlia Lounge is a great place for a “special dinner”
Dahlia never disappoints! The service was excellent, knowledgeable and very friendly. The duck is still the best I’ve ever had!
Old friends getting together. Great food. Loved the Duck as usual. Superb service. Only wish was a round table for 6 but our rectangular table was fine
Really great food! We order 4 dishes and all of them were outstanding. Not a missed note! Great service as well.
A birthday lunch at Dahlia's which was a very good experience. Everyone was pleased with their food and our server did an excellent job. An added surprise, their fabulous coconut cream pie for a birthday dessert.
The Dahlia Lounge is a fantastic restaurant with outstanding food. We took friends from out of town and they were very pleased with our lunch. Its a must stop for all of my out of town friends.
Enjoyed a special dinner with my wife while visiting Seattle. The restaurant was recommended by a colleague and was terrific in all respects, from the food to the service. We started with a bread salad that was like a panzanella on steroids, and the chicken liver on toast which was more like crispy chicken skin with the “fixings”. My wife enjoyed the five spice duck which was prepared perfectly, and accompanied by stone fruit and honeyed eggplant, great dish! I had the skirt steak with olive oiled mashed and string beans, another great dish. Great wine selections by the glass accompanied each course and complemented the meal perfectly, all recommended by our server. Terrific for date night or special occasions, although quite informal.
I don't like to give less than stellar reviews, but after a long absence, we have been looking forward to a return to an amazing meal, and as my wife said it was warm, and delivered on time.
I had some business guests in town that wanted a "Seattle" experience - Dahlia Lounge delivered! The menu was awesome, great craft cocktails and our server, Forrest, clearly loved his job and was awesome guiding us through the menu and took great care of us.
What a wonderful experience. The wait staff and the food were both exquisite. Jackie (our server) helped us select both the perfect wine and food. By far the best dining experience we had while visiting Seattle. I definitely hope to return some time soon!
Food was fantastic!!
Family gathering with out of town guest. Nice to share a Seattle classic.
I took a friend for a birthday dinner and was so disappointed. We ordered a starter and two fish dishes and all of it was over salted. The only reason I didn't send it back was I didn't want to make my guest uncomfortable. Lesson learned, when it's bad send it back. I left feeling fleeced of $150.00. Our server was adequate but nothing more.
As always, Dahlia Lounge's food and service did not disappoint. The seasonal peach and burrata starter was a perfect blend of salty, sweet with a mix of textures. Peaches were firm but very sweet which offset the creamy burrata. Local clams were sweet and flavorful in a light broth that made you wish for a few more toasty slices of bread to absorb all the spicy sausage and sauce. Crab cakes were rich and dense with sweet dungeness crab. And the donuts with vanilla marscapone and fresh peach jam just melted in your mouth. Outstanding service - just the right balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. Inclusion of tip in the meal price is lovely - ensures great service without staff worrying about tipping.
Excellent meal and drinks! Definitely try the blackberry margarita!
Great meal, tested out the food before we had a group business meal here. Wonderful all around
Had dinner prior to seeing a concert at the Moore Theater. Everything was amazing especially the grilled bread salad and the dessert donuts!! Thanks DL will definitely be back.
The duck was incredible. Everything was delicious. The waiter was great.
There is a salad there called the bread salad and it’s greens and a few huge croutons all toasty and tons of Parmesan and cherry tomatoes that totally rocked our world. And the chocolate torte with raspberry sorbet was dynamite. Seriously amazing. Entrees were just good, not spectacular. Awesome overall and Alexander is a master server. He is a pleasure. We loved it!!
We first came to the Dahlia about 22 years ago for our first date. We have returned sporadically since, and came back Sunday for brunch in celebration of our 20th anniversary (September 3rd) and it was as wonderful as ever!
Standouts were the corned beef hash, falafel, and the grapefruit and sour cherry shrubs - in addition to the signature crab cake.
The presentation was beautiful. The vegetables were fresh and perfectly prepared.
The service was friendly, unobtrusive, and impeccable.
We would like to extend our deep gratitude for helping us not only celebrate a milestone date but also for creating another memorable occasion.
Started at the bar and the bartender was snotty. $31 for two draft beers at happy hour? I paid it as I probably would have slapped him had I talked with him. They sat us next to the kitchen in what looked like a cafe section of the restaurant . Bright lights zero atmosphere. Made zero sense as the main restaurant was empty at 6:30 on as sat. Rich our waiter was fantastic and the food was spectacular.
Fantastic food and service. The Dahlia Lounge never disappoints.
Best service ever
We had not been to Dalhia Lounge for a couple of years and after a wonderful meal left telling ourselves we can't let that happen again. Everything was delicious and the vegetables from the Prosser Farm were out of this world. We liked the appetizer with tomatoes, broad beans and cucumbers so much that we ordered a second one even before we finished the first. My wife who eats a plant based diet was very happy with the falafel entree and my wild caught Alaskan ling cod was expertly done. We will be back soon.
Great place! Went here for a birthday. The server was super nice and the food was really good. They worked with our food allergies. Also, one of us is a vegetarian, and the veggie menu items were great. The falafel, specifically, was some of the best falafel I've ever had.
One of the many choices to enjoy a Tom Douglas restaurant in Seattle. Experience will be predictably good across the food and service. Ambiance is okay. Definitely worth a visit.
Our food was excellently prepared and the service was outstanding. My only criticism would be the lack of appetizer type choices on the menu. Unless you eat raw protein, the choices were more “1st course” vs appetizer. We went for our anniversary and planned to make an evening of it. We would have liked to have had an appetizer and a couple drinks before dinner, but since there really weren’t any choices of that type, we simply went ahead and ordered dinner and were out of there in 1 1/2 hours. For a special occasion night, that was disappointing to us.
Service was excellent.
Food was good but nothing special, especially for the price.
$55 bottle of wine was just ok, and most others cost a lot more than that.
Wine list needs to be more varied in varieties and prices.
Best part of meal was coconut cream pie dessert.
Restaurant was recommended to us but probably wouldn’t go back.
Always a great meal. I always try to have a meal here when visiting Seattle.
Ordinarily I love this place. And parts of it were good, but....
The ling cod was positively bland, and the portions were really small.
The Stone fruit cobbler was lovely though.
Service was fine, and i love the ambiance. But WAY over priced for what we got. More than $100 a person with a couple of drinks and desserts.
Great place for sharing plates. Highly recommend the peach/burrata salad. Delic
The server broke the cork on our own expensive bottle of wine. Then spilled wine when she was trying to decant it. Not good. She needs to be taught how to open older bottles of wine. The pasta appetizer was outstanding—it truly melted in our mouths. My husband and I shared the duck which was tasty but should have been warmer. Our server brought us a delicious dessert which she said “was on her” but it showed up on the bill. However, we weren’t charged a corkage fee.
