Great service and food
Delicious breakfast and coffee! Nice server. Good booth with awesome light - perfect for a nice brunch with a friend!
Great place for a Sunday brunch. The service and food we're top notch as always. The only negative was the small tables they have for parties of 4.
Food was good, but way over priced. Won't be returning.
Always love the Tom Douglas restaurants...classic Seattle. And I’m infatuated with those made to order doughnuts! 😍
Dahlia Lounge has unique dishes and drinks with flavor that is honestly mediocre. I have heard such good things about this place and it unfortunately did not live up to the hype. There are better Tom Douglas restaurants in Seattle.
Dahlia for Restaurant Week has been an annual occurrence for several years and did not disappoint us this year.
The best Seattle Restaurant Week meal we’ve ever had!
Even though we try as many restaurants throughout Seattle that we can, Dahlia has continued to be our favorite restaurant for over 20 years. The food and service continues to be consistent and fantastic. It is also our favorite of the TD restaurants.
Went during SRW with a colleague from KC. We chose to go there because of the selections and value for SRW. I chose the salad which was delicious and the pasta with salmon. The sauce on the pasta was light and well-balanced flavors. The topper was the excellent triple coconut cream pie. Just wished there was better parking around the restaurant but don't let it deter you from trying out the fabulous food at Dahlia's.
The food was superb, service was impeccable, couldn't have been happier with our experience!
Triple coconut cream pie is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good variety of food. Nice setting. Pleasant surroundings.
Restaurant week. No energy vibe. Pasta just okay. Second course was the pie bite. Tiny and the crust not at all like the full coconut cream pie. Overall a disappointment. My expectations were pretty high though
Enjoyed another Seattle Restaurant Week dinner at Dahlia Lounge. Always a good experience. Great food, great value. Looking forward to next time.
Nice menu for quick downtown lunch
WE happened upon restaurant week. It was wonderful choice for a 3 course dinner and wine pairing. I had been visiting from out of town and wanted to have their wonderful coconut cream pie. Was a great end of the meal. Wines that they paired were great and the pours more than generous.
I visited this restaurant at the beginning of restaurant week, so we went with the 3 course meal option. We enjoyed the decoupage decorations throughout the restaurant and the lighting was very nice. We were right next to the bar and entrance, so it was quite hard to hear sometimes. For the price, our food wasn’t exceptional, but we enjoyed every dish. For us, the star of the show was actually the optionally add-on chef’s choice side vegetable. It was roasted broccoli with a spicy orange glaze. It was absolutely delicious. I would come back if there was discounted event, but probably not for full price.
It was great food was wonder service was excellent
We were at Dahlia Lounge on Sunday April 7th for the first night of Seattle Restaurant Week. Dahlia is one of our very favorite places downtown. We got to the restaurant at 4:30 for Happy Hour. We were looked after so very well by Amber - we ordered a couple beers, had the always delicious bar snacks and we ordered the happy hour skirt steak. Great starts to the evening.
Then at 5:15, we were seated in server Kelly's section per our request. She even picked out the table we should sit at on the 4th Av side. What service, and great people watching both inside and outside the restaurant. In addition to Restuaurant Week, we were celebrating an anniversary and birthday. Kelly was determined to make it a special evening - and she did just great. We had a delicious crab cake appie, starter salads, then boneless pork main and salmon pasta main from the 3 course prix fixe Restaurant Week menu, with a side of fries and broccoli. We finished off with signature coconut pie, of course.
The food, service, and ambiance could not have been better. We had a fun and memorable time and will return soon!!
This was our third visit ( the first was some 24 years ago) and Dahlia Lounge continues to impress. Great quality food and wonderful service with no "gimmicks" needed, just straight ahead great cooking with the best ingredients and flawless technique. Can't wait to return.
Fabulous. We went back 3 times in a week’s vacation. Lovely food and staff. Almost enough to make me move to Seattle
From our Bloody Mary, through the delicious crab cakes and beyond to the coconut cream pie and beignets, an outstanding meal. My husband and I agree that it was one of our all time favorite dining experiences. The service was equally excellent. We look forward to our next visit!
Everything was excellent it was my third time there and I have never been disappointed
For the last 22 years my beloved girlfriends Ena, Juls and Heidi have celebrated our birthdays with lunch at Dahlia Lounge. That will never change. This last Friday was especially wonderful as our amazing waiter Richard along with Susie (another great server we love) serenaded us with the Olive Garden birthday song. The four of us have been through a lot together and these times at the Dahlia Lounge are always entirely lovely with wonderful wine, food and shared joy combined with over the top service from everyone there. Tom Douglas sure does know how to run a restaurant. Here's to another 22 years of celebration! Barbara Ross
Great food and ambiance. Excellent service.
We had a phenomenal meal at Dahlia Lounge. Our server was wonderful, the food was excellent. Highly recommend the duck FYI!
This was a special occasion dinner for us--my husband's 70th birthday. The service could not have been better. Our server was attentive and personable but never intrusive. He came across as a likable and authentic person, not bored with his role. The food was amazing, especially the gnocchi. It was fun to try the deservedly famous coconut cream pie but the donuts were the winner, hands-down. We chose the restaurant for their reputation but also because they have a nice mix of menu items appealing to vegetarian, pescatarian, etc. and all 5 of us were delighted. Thanks so much for making this a memorable evening, and for bringing Dave a lit candle in his pie...but without singing!
We had ricotta gnocchi that made me think I had actually never before tasted gnocchi as it was meant to be prepared, ... absolutely a heavenly memorable vegetarian dish with chard and leeks forming a hearty and wonderfully flavorful dressing! The asparagus with cojita and harissa was lovely and not too spicy, and the bread and dips appetizer had us scraping the bowls! What a wonderful meal!!! It has been a while since I had been in to Dahlia Lounge, ... I won't let it be so long again!
Food is outstanding. Amazing customer service and ambiance. We love Dahlia Lounge!
Expensive but nice ambiance and wonderful food!!!
Coconut cream pie is amaaaaaaazing.
As always, Dahlia Lounge did not disappoint. I was able to conduct a business meeting without a lot of background noise, and the meal was outstanding. I want to go back soon outside of work mode so I can enjoy a nice glass of wine off of the extensive list.
Wonderful meal, excellent service
Service was very slow. Took 30-40 minutes to get our bread and dip which was disappointing. 20% tip was also automatically added to the bill. Food was good, but not worth the $150 price tag. We may just have had a bad experience on the once off, but prefer to get the pizza at serious pie over the meal we had.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner. Just wish there were more vegetable side choices.
Bacon was over cooked and greasy. Eggs were ok. I had Parmesan potatoes that were average. My wife had eggs Benedict and she thought it was good.
Orange juice and coffee were very good.
The price for 3 was 95.00 with tax and built in 20% tip. No alcohol was ordered.
Great food with a creative twist.
Great oysters and awesome crab cakes. I came in and ate alone and was treated very well. The beignets were unfortunately delicious.
Cocktails weren't balanced with the ratios therefore didn't achieve the description of the drink.
Wonderful locavour cuisine. Many choices. Excellent pastries.
