Dahl & DiLuca Ristorante Italiano
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish!
Great food. Waiter recommended the Chicken Rustica...fabulous! We also had the lasagna. Very good. Good cocktails and live background music.
I’d definitely go back!
For my wife and I will it’s a special occasion or any of her special clients we go to Dahl and DiLuca knowing everything will be fantastic
We travel to Sedona every couple of years and always have our last dinner here. Food is delicious! Love this restaurant!
Third visit. Veal picata, halibutspecial, cannoli. I wish I could replicate the halibut technique! The Dahl reataurant group is amazing. Wish we lived closer.
Incredible restaurant! Food, service, ambiance all amazing!
Excellent food, server was charming but a bit overwhelmed by number of tables he was assigned. However had a lovely time nd we will definitely go back
Great meal! We are in the Dining room, but they also have a patio area. We started with drinks and the best calamari we have ever had and we have had a lot! Crisp with a hint of lemon. We skipped soup/salads so on to main entrees, we both got the Veal Piccata which was really top notch, so good I was hoping my wife couldn’t finish hers, but she did! We both got desserts, I go amaretto cream brûlée’ , my wife got Tiramisu which was also very good and we split a Godiva hot chocolate, another good choice. Fabulous meal, our waiter Cesar was excellent and would ask for him next visit!
This was a great experience for us ... food was exceptionally well done and liked the old world ambiance, white table cloth and quaint seating
Excellent selection of regional Italian dishes. Service might be a little slow when they are busy but the quality of the food and the ambience makes up for it.
Great food! Great conversation with the bartender. Really nice restaurant with very attentive service by the wait staff. Highly recommend!
Dahl and DiLuca was a very beautiful and romantic restaurant perfect for celebrating our anniversary. The service was excellent with extra touches such as rose petals on our table and complementary anniversary dessert. They were very friendly and the food was impeccable.
This was my third visit to Dahl & DiLuca for dinner. Each time is amazing, from the service to the atmosphere to the food, you will not be disappointed.
I’ve been going here for years and am never disappointed. The food is always fantastic, fresh, so many options to pick from. What I love about it is you can dress up or down whatever you want. The service is always great and they are very attentive and they will make changes however you want if possible. It is a must restaurant for those visiting but make a reservation. I’ve lived in the area for over 20 years and love all of Lisa Dahl’s restaurants.
A great experience. Maitre d wore a Madras sport coat by Polo I thing, taking quick note of our arrival and lining up a good table. Despite a full house, we were seated promptly, and water and bread appeared pronto. Found a very good, and reasonable Chardonnay to start off, followed by superb salads, mine being a zesty Caesar. Our table stayed on the Italian side of things, ordering veal and pasta dishes. My Saltimbocca with Orzo jumped into my mouth. We followed up with excellent desserts. The jazz combo did a great job, and played a few Cole Porter selections at our request. The owner stopped at our table wearing what looked like a Chanel original, and chatted a bit. This was the kind of dining experience that is hard to achieve and difficult to find. Love these folks.
Food, ambiance and staff were perfect.
Very accommodating !
Shrimp scampi were wonderful and the service at the bar was delightful!
We can’t wait to go back!!! And we re booked
Every aspect was excellent. Because we had outdoor seating, the noise was quite loud due to street traffic. It is an upscale restaurant so we expected higher prices.
Dahl and DiLuca remains our family's favorite dining experience in Sedona.
Beautiful ambience, thoughtful attention to detail, attentive wait staff. And delicious food!
Thank you to all involved in making this place the best.
Great food, great service! Ate here for 2 out of 3 nights in our vacation!
We had an 8pm reservation for two people and were offered a table in a separate room that was roughly the size of a closet. We should have declined the table but it was clear that was not an option.
The food was good but the service was both abrupt and rushed. It was extremely evident that the waitress was looking to end her evening. We were done with the entire dining experience in less than 45 minutes. As an example we had just been served our appetizer when asked if we were ready for our main course.
When we left there was virtually only a couple of tables still occupied. If the establishment wants to close by 8pm they should stop accepting reservations around 6pm.
Extremely disappointing experience.
Delicious food with excellent service! My wife and I were celebrating our five year anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Outstanding and authentic Italian cuisine! A presto
Vanessa was superb! She also served us the next day at Pisa Lisa and we were thrilled.
The food was excellent along with the service, it is difficult to decide which dish was best
From the burrata to the passion fruit infused dessert. My entree was with
Italian Sausage, peppers and onions in marina sauce over pasta. I have only ordered this dish
As an entree in the 4 times I have been to this restaurant. If you like a bit of kick to your food this is the
Entree for you.
I’m from New Jersey, but this was possibly the best Italian food I’ve ever had! Everything from the ambiance to the service and food was incredible. The house made linguini was truly TO DIE FOR. The pasta was fresh and light - true Italian at its finest. You will not regret going here for dinner!
We went for our 45th wedding anniversary and it was outstanding. Had a great bottle of wine, fantastic food and great service. The burrata appetizer was something not to miss. Even had a piano and base player to make the night special. The prices were more than fair for the high quality food and service. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Italian food and great atmosphere.
Hands down some of the best Italiano I have ever had. The setting is so pretty. Nice piano and bass plaguing. Definitely recommend it. We will be back when we visit Sedona!
Fortunately, the food is more authentic than the design of the room.We have been to Italy many times and are appalled at what many Americans think is Italian or Tuscan. We shared the special appetizer that included excellent burrata and good quality balsamic. We also shared a tortellini with prosciutto and pea cream sauce. Tasty but the sauce was a bit thinner than I would have liked. My nightly special, veal chop was vey high quality and well seasoned and cooked. My wife had the shrimp scampi which was also well prepared.
Top notch restaurant, everything was outstanding!
Everytime we are in Sedona, Dahl & DiLuca is a must for one of our evening dinners. As always, we walked away completly satisfied. Food was tremendous, service was great and the piano player added an extra touch of class. Great evening all around.
Food was exceptional
This was my second time at Dahl & DeLuca - and although the food and ambiance was superb, the service this time was so disappointing. We brought our friends from the East Coast and had a fabulous meal - everything was beyond delicious! I was just so embarrassed with our server. He totally rushed us, never came back to ask if we wanted another drink, and practically threw the Parmesan cheese on our table instead of asking if we would like any. We watched other tables he was waiting on, and all of them were treated much differently than us. He seemed like a perfect server to everyone else - we were really taken back by his behavior. Other than that, I would definitely return when in Sedona to enjoy one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever visited.
Excellent food service and ambiance with enjoyable piano music,
Food, service, and ambiance was great!
Lovely meal at a lovely restaurant. Only complaint I have (as a wine drinker) is the enormous markup they have on their wines (2-3 times retail).
The evening started well. But as the evening progressed, the service deteriorated. Waited lengthy times for our food, dessert and coffee. Then waited a long time for our bill. The crab cakes were good, but the main course was 'ok'. The homemade pasta was not good, it was sticky. My spouse felt the lasagna was mediocre.
There was too much garlic on everything. The olive oil for bread dipping had raw garlic. My salad was drenched in so much dressing I couldn’t eat it. The veal was super tender and the Marsala would have been amazing except it was loaded with garlic. The green beans were absolutely delicious. The place was super crowded and people seemed to enjoy it. It’s just not my preference.
This food is amazing ---- like a trip to Italy. We had the special salad -- tomato and burrata, THEN our wonderful wait person said it would be no problem for us to have four 1/2 orders of pasta (we like tasting) -- we had two lighter ones -- Fettuccini Primavera, Amalfi (lemon cream sauce with seafood) -- then their classic Bolognese and tortellini with spicy sausage. EVERY SINGLE ONE was outstanding. Service was friendly and accommodating. GO!!
Simply lovely! Went for a double birthday and it was very nice experience. The live music was great and not overpowering. The food was very traditional Southern Italian cuisine. The eggplant Parmesan was just like the one we made in our Italian cooking class on the Amalfi coast and it is a labor of love! It was divine! The gnocchi and bolognese were also very traditional and wonderful! Another of our group had the veal piccata- also delicious!
If you are looking for authentic Italian food, you won’t be disappointed!
