Hard to find because the address is on Broadway, but you can't see it from the street. Its hidden behind Lucky's Market. Go into the Lucky's parking lot and park there. The restaurant is in a strip down a few steps, and across a small plaza.

We were there on a quiet Sunday night. Surprisingly uncrowded neighborhood gem. Great, creative cocktails. Beautiful and bountiful salads. Tried the paella, two pasta dishes (one with gluten free pasta) and a chicken dish. All were really great. Prices were very reasonable for such good food. We would go there again if we were going to be in town longer!

As always, the food was amazing, and I am still eating the leftovers...the balsamic mushrooms on the pizza for breakfast is glorious ; )
And my Cosmo was perfect!

The appetizers and wines by the glass were good, but our entrees were not good at all. I got a mushroom ravioli dish that was mushy and overpoweringly garlicky. My husband got a seafood lasagna dish that tasted "off" - like funky shellfish. Our waitress told us that the kitchen staff was new and did not know what they were doing. Somewhat disappointing experience, though it would be worth trying again (maybe just for apps and drinks) as it is in a cute location tucked away in North Boulder and has good ambiance.

Almost the traditional tapas restaurant/cantina from Spain. Slightly dissapointed by the wine list, but food was excellent, good choices, well served in a timely way. A little noisy, so small group better,

DaGabi is a pleasant neighborhood restaurant with an extensive menu. The round Italian loaves served fresh from the oven are divine. Happy hour lasts all night on Tuesday and there's enough to choose from to have a delightful meal and an affordable night out.

Such a great place in the neighborhood. Great vibes, great food, and they pour good drinks, not skimpy. It's a go-to place for me. Dependable, warm and cheerful.

Went to Dagabi on a first date and sat from happy hour to 9pm. Our waiter was attentive but non intrusive. We could converse at a reasonable volume. The food was fantastic just off the Tapas menu. I would recommend Dagabi particularly for happy hour as the Tapas menu is extensive and pleased a wide variety of palates and food sensitivities. This has become my favorite hot spot.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. However, the service was spotty. Waitress asked if we would like bread and we responded Yes. Never any bread. Two of the three entrees came out while I was still eating my salad. The third entree did not come out until we had finished eating our entrees.

I always enjoy stopping by Dagabi for dinner when I'm in town. It's in the neighborhood and it's usually pretty good. However I think they're slipping a little. They have specials, but the regular menu hasn't changed in years; I think it's due for an update.
I was also very disappointed by the veggies that came with my meal, the green beans were over cooked and shriveled.
Maybe it's best to just go for Happy Hour and avoid the full meal.

The waitress didn't know the name of the dishes as they were written in the menu (most of them in Spanish). I had to point out several times for her to get it (even though I am a native Spanish speaker), and even so, she brought 2 tapas that were not ordered and mixed up another one. We asked her for an extra glass to share the sangria garafe and brought and sangria glass (charging us later $5 for it, even though we had the garafes too). She wouldn't divide the check (we were 6 all paying in couples) even though we told her at the beginning to please do so.... she brought a check that had a plate we didn't order and when told she wouldn't bring a new check, she just said she will discount it (on her mind) but ended up charging us for it......
Tapas were also very expensive, although they were good.

I wouldn't recommend hiring this waitress again, she was very nervous and distracted... we weren't happy with the service and however were charged 18% because we were a group of 6 people.

We won't be back as a big group.

I appreciated the opportunity to introduce a long-time Boulder resident to "Boulder's best little secret." I was especially pleased with the young male server who was quite attentive and who made the experience more than enjoyable.

DaGabi is one of our go-to favorites in our neighborhood. However, for the first time in memory, we had to wait 45 minutes before getting served, and then, only one of our party of four got hers. The rest of us had to wait another ten minutes or so, and only after getting the attention of a staff person. The owner did come over and apologized; he gave us a 15% discount card which we used that evening.

We have eaten at Dagabi for years now. We always loved the food and wait staff is super nice. The last two times we've gone, however, the food was significantly worse. We've had shrimp that was burned in the grill, chicken that looked like it came from a Friday's and veggies that were barely steamed and completely tasteless. The pizza is still good -- best GF crust in town -- but we have been sorely disappointed in everything else. Might be time for a change.

Monday night " tapas" with friends. Stuffed dates with prosciutto, mini pizzas, chicken and pork skewers, mozzarella and tomato, grilled asparagus. Happy hour wines and a cucumber tequila drink, refreshing and tasty.
Five friends fed and "watered" for a very reasonable price.

We frequent this place often: great outdoor patio & Antonio pulls from his Toledo, Spain roots for wonderful recipes (grandma's!) The paella, chicken marsala & Zarzuella are all amazing; great salads and *AWESOME* tapas & happy hour.

Looking for something a little different I found Dagabi Cucina hidden on the north side of Boulder. Tucked away behind Lucky's Market this a nice place for an adult night out. The decor is eclectic and rustic, dark and nicely appointed. We went for a romantic Valentine's dinner. The hostess was friendly when greeting us and accommodating when we didn't want to sit next to the back door in the bar.

Service was a bit slow after we sat down. Our glasses of wine took almost 10 minutes to arrive after ordering. They were busy but no one seemed to be running around. For appetizers, we ordered the baked oysters which were underwhelming, uninspired and small. The 'shared' caprese salad consisted of 3 hearty tomato slices topped with mozz and a single basil leaf. Again, underwhelming, but at least tasty.

We waited probably 20 minutes before our entrees arrived. Our server blamed the 'kitchen being slammed' for the slow services, but several tables who had sat down after us were already eating their dinners. Once the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised after the disappointing appetizers. My seafood paella was delicious with lots of clams, mussels and squid. It could have included a few more shrimp, but the rice was delicious. My wife had the special seafood stew off the Valentine's menu which came with garlic flatbread. Also very tasty and the broth was wonderful.

Having been happy with our dinner, we moved onto dessert. My tiramisu was very good and my wife's creme brule was decedent and heavenly. A definite save after a disappointing start.

Overall a decent experience, but the service and apps could have been better. We will go back and give them a second chance, maybe on a less busy night.

This was our second visit here. The first time was amazing. Hoping this was just a bad night for them. The fillet with blue cheese special was over cooked and the blue cheese was overwhelming. The potatoes with this dish were under cooked. We also had the Canneloni special, and it was average (not special). Tried the stuffed apple desert, and whatever the apple was stuffed with was not good at all (highlight of this dish was the gelato).

We ordered a bottle of wine and intended to have a nice relaxing meal. However, we felt very rushed. My husband and I ordered an appetizer to share, and we each ordered a soup and an entree. The appetizer came out quickly, not a bad thing, but then our soup arrived when we were 2 bites into the appetizer. Our entrees then arrived before we were finished eating our soup and had just finished the appetizer. Once we were finished eating our entrees, the waitress suggested she could cork our wine and so we could take it to go. The food was good and portion sizes were appropriate. We just felt like they were trying to get rid of us the whole time we were there. It was only 45 minutes from the time we sat down until we walked out the door. Not exactly what I'm looking for when we go out for a date night.

It has been a little while since we visited Dagabi. I am happy to say that it is as good and enjoyable as ever. It is our go to neighborhood spot and now that winter is almost here we will be there often, close to home, cozy enough, romantic enough to warm the heart on a dark night or any night. The food and service are consistently good. The prices especially during happy hour are doable even for a large family.

Dagabi is a great choice in North Boulder. The food is reliably good and the drinks are as well. I wish they would change their menu, as I have been going there for several years and am a bit bored with the selections. The mushroom small plate is a favorite. This place is work a try.

That list includes our kids, elderly relatives and guests from as far as Germany and Spain. The ambiance and service are great too striking a nice balance just under the pretentious level.
