We all felt so special, we were treated with smiles and extremely courteous service. The food heavenly, my chicken Marcella so tender I thought it was veal! Our guest could not stop complementing her delicious choice of a meal! Delicious, delicious, delicious.

Food and service were excellent. Authentic Italian food. Appetizers (San Gennaro, calamari and prosciutto/mozzarella) very tasty and done well. Chicken parm was a if hit as was the ravioli and fish special. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

The food was amazing. Delicious and authentic. The atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. There was also a larger group seated who were having a great time talking and laughing and it was not bothersome at all. Good restaurant for a date or for a family dinner.

The food is very good; it was authentic, the portions were good and presentation and the service was good too. It is family business that is very comfortable but nothing fancy.

I returned to this resturant after 17 years (anniversery dinner) and can honestly say noting has changed. As I remember, the food and service remains great! What I did expect some change was the inside decor and furnishings, but it has not. The place looks exactly as it did way back when and therefor looks very dated. If you can get past that, then not a bad choice for casual lunch or dinner.

Yummy. The food is excellent and the staff is very responsive. Hard drive to get to though with all the Tysons road work. Worth the hassle.

Good food and good service. Only complaint was that we told the waiter that we needed to be out by a certain time to go to a play, and he was not responsive. Kept us waiting for the check

It's been about two years since we last had dinner at DaDomenico and frankly we were disappointed. The service was extremely slow and the food was average. Two years ago we had such a great experience...the manager/owner (pigtail) visiting us, violins, great food and service. A true ristorante. Our tab was nearly $300 this past Saturday and while the food was good, all things considered I will think twice about going back. I hope the evening was an anomaly.

Respectfully,
Don

Very busy for 6p. Mom Day Eve was also prom night. Veal Rib special and sauces/gravies were all top notch. But veal scallopini & filet mignon were less tender than normal.

I live in DC, but regularly go to DaDomenico because it is AUTHENTIC. This visit they had a special appetizer of grilled octopus served with lemon caper sauce that was fantastic. I had the frutti di mare and my dad had the house specialty veal chop...no complaints!!! We ate everything!! The service was lovely and it was quiet so we were able to talk and catch up.

Great authentic home made Italian food! Signature dishes are: broiled marinated double veal chop; and homemade pasta with shrimp, scallops, mussels and large lobster tail. Great wine, outstanding service, and reasonable prices.

My girlfriends and I dined here for one of the girls' birthday. Prior to her arrival, we had let our server know the birthday girl's name and that we are dining to celebrate her special day. One would've thought the restaurant would've prepared something special for her (a small dessert with a candle, perhaps?) but to our disappointment, the restaurant failed to accommodate a little something special to make us want to come back for more celebrations in the future. Food was decent, but considering it was a Saturday evening during dinner time, it was very quiet and many tables were vacant. Perhaps that was indicative of the fact something was lacking; service was sub-par. Would not return in the future nor recommend.

Always a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. It's a Virginia landmark restaurant so I recommend going there for great food and a taste of Virginia before skyscrapers in Tyson's Corner.

Dated decor and menu. Very good food that's kind of expensive. It's in a weird location but the food is worth it, twenty years ago I'd bet this place was rocking it. Good with special requests.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for a homemade Italian meal when we found this gem. From the minute we arrived, the service was welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was better than expected and the service was outstanding. All of our meals were fresh and full of flavor. We will definitely eat here again if we are in the area. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Overall, a great experience!
It was a little bit hard to find because of the construction in the area. It wasn't very crowded a Friday night, which made me sad because I though that it was a great place. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was prompt, and there were a lot of great menu items to choose from. The wait for food felt a bit long but it was well worth it - the seafood risotto was awesome!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, I only hope that it doesn't become too crowded because we loved the laid back atmosphere and the relaxed dining experience!

The food was excellent, however the service was not. However it was valentines day and they were very busy. They do need to close down for a week and do some major upgrades and repairs to the building.

The food here is great. The staff was great. The restaurant is old and worn down. The water stains on the ceiling are bad but the plastic pieces covering the stains were scary. I can't believe we stayed. The place was packed. The wine list is solid. However I am never going back because of it looks like a Restaurant nightmare on the inside. I imagine it won't be there long since Clyde's closed I think this street is closing.

Service was slow, sloppy. Waiter didn't know to replace plates for appetizers, just left plates for reuse. Quality of food was definitely not up to standards of a year or so ago (last time we dined at this establishment). It was clearly stated in the reservation that this was a birthday event and there was no mention of this or a birthday dessert offering.

It's possible that there was a special menu for the holidays; however, the menu choices were limited and quite pricey for what we received. The food was pretty good, but the waiter made a few mistakes with our orders. I found the area in which we were seated to be rather sterile - not enticing at all. Overall, it was okay, but I feel there are better options available.

We have gone to Da Domenico for many years. We brought friends there to celebrate New Years Eve. The service was not good. The waitress did not speak English well and did not understand the menu. The veal marsala was coated with a lot of flour and tough. The salmon roles were small and not good at all. We were extremely disappointed.

Our family had Christmas Eve 2016 dinner here at 7pm.. My husband and three children, ages 13, 11, 9. The resturant has a limited menu on Christmas Eve. But we all found something we wanted. The resturant was wonderful in accommodating our two children to "simplify" their meals and make something slightly "off menu". We had a lovely bottle of wine that we chose from a surprisingly good wine list. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. And super great about bringing multiple baskets of the delicious bread to the kids! The authentic espresso to cap off the meal was the real deal. Overall a surprisingly fantastic and special evening for our family. We will go back.
