Da Vinci Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Our first time but definitely not our last! We are new to the Naples area and had to pick a spot for a get together. So we were nervous and hoped our selection was a good one. We were a party of 9 and everyone loved it. Some were even from Ft Myers/ Cape Coral area and said they it was totally worth the trip.
First time there, we enjoyed it very much.
Octopus salad good for splitting, veal saltimbocca and veal scallopini both excellent. Good service and a great wine find for $42. Overall we would be back frequently, now it has to be when we come to Marco Island.
Outstanding!!! Food was delicious and hearty portions. We shared 2 entrees to experience the pasta and veal chop. Experience of a NY restaurant. Can't wait to go back in Feb. Next time we will sit outside.
Reservations are a must and you will understand why!
Ok overall. Very crowded, somewhat chaotic with waitstaff running in all directions. Noise level high, hard to hear table side conversation. Varied menu, pizza was good, pasta average. Fine for a dependable meal but wouldn’t consider it a great dining experience. I would head to other restaurants on the island before going back.
We had a bad experience here the past two years - had a reservation but had to wait for ever for our table and then got an attitude from the manager/Maitre’d, and had poor service. The great food however, brought us back again. We were taken directly to our table right on time. We had a wonderful young man as our waiter who was pleasant, helpful, and very nice. I had an arugula salad that was superb. My husband had the Da Vinci veal which he said was amazing - the homemade marinara sauce was what made the dish. I had the snapper special that came with pasta in a tomato/white wine sauce that was unbelievably good. We were so full we skipped dessert. We will be back when we are here again next year!!!
Six of us had dinner and we brought our own fish for them to cook Livornese and Francese style. Both were delicious! They served family style accompanied by 2 types of pasta, broccoli, and potatoes. This is our favorite place to bring our own fish. Only 2 complaints - the table is never big enough for all the dishes, even after we ask for a bigger than usual table, and the plates to eat off of are too small. Salads and dessert were also delicious.
