Da Vinci Italian restaurant is an authentic bistro serving the classic foods of Italy and Sicily. The restaurant is named for the great artist Leonardo Da Vinci, and the interior of the dining room is decorated with much of the famed painter's works. The lighting is equally as attractive, with many of the regular white lights replaced with pink bulbs that give the whole place a softer feel.
Da Vinci specializes in pizza and other Italian classics. The top of the menu features a "build your own pizza" section in which allows patrons to mix and match the roughly 20 toppings Da Vinci offers. The rest of the menu is filled out with various pasta and grilled dishes. Favorites in this section include a linguini with clam sauce, eggplant parmigiana, cacciatore and Da Vinci's homemade sweet Italian sausage served with mushrooms, garlic, onions, peppers, marinara and penne.
Food is great. Had a great waitress. Would definitely recommend.
we enjoy the soup and salad and the large portions that come with the meal. Service can be spotty at times, also avoid Tuesdays and weds. the head chef is off and I found the kitchen less than adequate those days. I love there claims in white wine sauce, seafood combo on linguine in white wine sauce, I only give this order to head chief if you want it made right. also eggplant and veal combo.
my chicken was bland and veggies were boring -- i just ordered that cuz my friend who is a health nut -- ordered it -- but it was bland and borning -- the chicken breast -- and veggies bland....tasted like hospital food.....also come on!!!! One freaking garlic roll??? Give me SIX please.....also very small piece of cheesecake for my friend's birthday -- yeah I know it was free -- but come on -- it was enough for two bitefulls.....but place itself was very nice.
I had the softest shrimp of shrimp franchise I ever ate; it was so delish!
My dinner was definitely very enjoyable,
We were 8 people for dinner and no one liked their food. The sauce was thick and no taste except 2 pasta dishes which were so spicy it was inedible. I had shrimp parm and it was thickly breaded with tons of sauce and medium shrimp. Now we all know why we have not returned in several years. It is a local restaurant and thought we would give it a chance again. Not happening.
Restaurant was close to my mom's house. cost was low, service and food were fair. would go back if mom asked me to
Our service is normally very good but this time it was abominable. Everything served wrong, to the wrong people, things forgotten. and then brought when almost finished some things never arrived.
If this was our first visit I doubt we would return. Bu tafter many many visits we will forgive the transgressions and return
The soup was not hot enough. The bread was so so. The portions are so large that it is not appealing on the plate I prefer small, good portions, I do not have to take food home. Last time I ate there, it was better
WE WERE REFUSED A TABLE FOR 6 IN THE "FAMILY ROOM" (WERE WERE TOLD THERE WERE INCOMING RESERVATIONS)
HOWEVER TEN MINUTES AFTER WE WERE SEATED IN THE VERY NOISY AND CROWDED MAIN ROOM A TABLE FOR 6 CLEARED AND WAS NEVER OCCUPIED AGAIN, WE ALSO WAITED ALMOST A HALF HOUR BEFORE RECEIVING WATER
The receptionist couldn't find our reservation until a more experienced receptionist found it in the computer. The service was slow and the noise level was deafening. I will not return to this restaurant.
