Ravioli with lobster was supreme!!
We had a wonderful experience at Da Marco. As always, the food was delicious and the service incredible.
Best Italian restaurant in Houston.
Our third time at Da Marco. May be the best Italian restaurant in the world. Truly a one of a kind dining experience. Highly recommended.
Exceptional food and service.
Lovely ambiance together with excellent food and attentive service.
I can’t discover what all the hype was about. Hmmmm. Ok and fair, not worth the money but the experience was ok
Best restaurant in Houston!
Great octopus appetizer and the lobster ravioli was awesome, too.
Enjoyed previous meal there a lot, this one was mediocre. Probably better on a weeknight than a weekend.
Top class restaurant with a well deserved, great reputation.
visit and savor the food can't describe it, can you? incredible.
I was at Da Marco for a business dinner. Disappointing.
My expectation to offer a truly Italian dinner was not realized: the real artichokes "alla Giudia" do not have a lemon/citrus cream and the clam spaghetti were very salty. When I told the waiter the dish was salty he told me that clams in Texas are actually salty!
I didn't want to start an argument as I was with a customer, but in Italy that dish would have gone back to the kitchen if not out of the window... Clams are clams everywhere in the world and everybody knows that they are salty....you just need to know how to wash them properly and how to cook the pasta (like everybody knows in Italy). Nobody came to my table to apologize.
This is not acceptable in a top rated and high priced restaurant. It is a pity because I liked the place.
Awesome as always. Service is impeccable. Never rushed. Octopus was the best I have ever had. Raw Oysters were delicious.
THANKS FOR ASKING, IVE NEVER HAD A NON STELLAR MEAL AT DA MARCO. IT NEVER ALLOWS FOR A LET DOWN, WE ASK OUR WAITER TO SURPRISE US AND OMG, WHAT A STUNNING DELIGHT HE CREATED.IVE SPENT MANY HAPPY HOURS DISCOVERING ITALY'S BEST FINDS, GREAT FOOD IN ITALY, THIS IS A DEAD MATCH FOR MEMORY MEALS ABROAD.HOUSTON IS SO LUCKY THAT SOMEONE CARES ENOUGH TO DO IT RIGHT.....THANKS GUYS....D DAVIS
We had a nice expierence, the food was amazing, and great atmosphere.
Our waiter, Eric, was awesome... great service and knowledge about the menu!!
Very good food and service
Excellent food except for desert. A little pricey ($340 for two) but it was Valentines Day. My 4Runner was a little out of place among the high end Benzes and Jags.
Had to wait 30 minutes to get a table for two , despite a reservation book 7 days in advance .
During the wait nobody from the staff had the courtesy to inform about the possible wait time .
OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND FOOD!
Simply the best. For years and years this quiet neighborhood spot has out shined all new entries into the Houston restaurant scene. Treat yourself to an incredible dining experience. You will come back again and again.
Fabulous time! Our favorite restaurant!
Extraordinario restaurante. La comida riquísima.
Hands down, this is the best Italian restaurant in Texas.
Excellent as always . The risotto with truffles never disappoints . I also had the ravioli stuffed with Blue crab, excellent dish. I would love to see a full service bar.
Great as always
Just amazing all around. Service was second to none.
Da Marco is a Houston Classic. The food and service are impeccable. We always enjoy the truffles tagliatelle. The branzino ala Sale is excellent. Could not ask for a better always consistent restaurant.
Top level in all respects. Very high- end. Food was delicious. Service was attentive and easy. Thanks!
It needs no newspaper reviews. It's still one of the 5 best restaurants in the city. I visited it for lunch when it opened some 18 years ago and it's only gotten better.
We felt a bit rushed. The food was excellent, but it has been a lot better in previous times.
Great food, good service!
Awesome as usual. Great specials and wine list as well.
The food here is always excellent. The service tonight was superb. Quite attentive without in any way interfering with conversation. We had a relatively early seating, but before long the restaurant was full on a weeknight. The happy anniversary on the dessert plate was a nice touch.
My husband and I were visiting from Seattle and had such a great experience at Da Marco. I usually don’t write reviews but I went specifically for the uni and crab spaghetti and it did not disappoint. The uni was very apparent and not drowned out by cream. The crab was perfectly de-shelled and the chili was the perfect spice. Theirs was by far the BEST uni dish that I have ever had! It is truly a must try. My husband ordered the sweet corn ravioli and lobster and that was also a marvelous dish that was executed very well. We will definitely return the next time we are in town if not again before we leave.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. I think it's the best restaurant in town. The service and food is always perfect. I have never had anything but a wonderful experience here.
The food is very good. One tip to know is that they do not serve cocktails. So, know your wines before you arrive!
Great food,presentation, service and atmosphere
We eat here almost weekly- nearly always try the daily specials. Attentive and great service. Sometimes the constant water and wine pouring is a little intrusive. The food is top notch, simple but very flavorful.
