Once again incredible service. I can count the restaurants in this country with this quality of service on the fingers of one hand. Absolutely impeccable. The food is out of this world. I cannot get enough of this place.
It’s a very old school rich people kinda place. Lots of waiters running everywhere, classic old home type feel, and typical multiple course meal.
Service was great, food was excellent but the portions were very small. Nearly impossible to share anything and VERY expensive. It was a fun experience and I love the old school atmosphere over the more modern restaurant scene but likely won’t be back any time too soon.
The food was not good. I had the potato gnocchis, with not much explanation on the menu I did not know it had squid in it. Not really a big deal because I do enjoy a well made squid but for medical reasons I shouldn’t eat squid. It was very bland. My daughter had lobster ravioli which was decent but the main flavor was butter.
This is the best restaurant you will ever eat at. Everything about it is amazing.
Over the years, Da Marco has consistently been Houston’s best restaurant-and it still is.
Always wonderful meal and amazing service
Excellent as always. Many interesting dishes to choose drom
Lorenzo, our server, was wonderful. Informative, attentive and focused. His descriptions were spot on. Branzino carpaccio with pine nuts and foil gras was a memorable experience. da Marco is expensive, but unlike many high end restaurants, delivers on its promise.
Da Marco is our favorite restaurant for a special night out. The food is always exceptional and the wait staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful with their menu and specials. The Raviolo with egg and ricotta is to die for!
We started dining at Da Marco when it opened in the late 90's having been gone from the Houston area for a number of years we decided to return to Da Marco with some friends. We had an excellent dinner with their normal outstanding service. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a first class dinner served by an experienced waitstaff.
This place is generally good, but for the prices, it needs to be exceptional, which it is not. And my pasta was overcooked, which is pretty lame for a restaurant that touts itself like this one. Overall: overrated!! Not worth it.
We had an early reservation, 6:00. It was the only time available. We felt rushed from the beginning. The servers brought our food menus before we ordered drinks. It was not the leisurely dining experience we expected from this type of restaurant.
Another perfect date night. We were in the back room and it was very nice. We both had the specials and they were fabulous along with excellent service.
Lovely anniversary dinner at our favorite restaurant
Aumentar las porciones de comida y esperar que el cliente culmine su servicio porque el cliente siempre tiene la razon
Loved everything about this restaurant. The wild boar pasta dish was amazing. Service was incredible. Everything we ate was delicious.
Best food and service we know of in Houston. Classic place.
Quiet place but it was freezing inside . I could feel
Many people uncomfortable because of the AC on the room in the other side . The food was ok.
If you like to go with group to have a nice conversation that place is perfect . No noisy dishes sound . Dressy and beautiful people.
Branzino fish for $200; way too expensive. Service is great they just need to adjust their exorbitant prices.
Everything was perfect.
An amazing first time experience from service to quality to flavor. Cant wait to come back
The food is, by far, the best and most authentic Italian in Houston. It’s consistently tasty and has great service. It’s also consistently a very cold room temp so bring a sweater!!!
The food at Da Marco is delicious and really Italian. The ambiance is nice. We liked the service very much. The parking (valet) is very convenient.
wonderful evening and meal. appreciated exceptional service
always a pleasure! The dover sole and branzino are wonderful not to be outdone by the truffle and risotto app!!
Always the best.
The food was so delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the artichoke. The corn chowder was equally as good. The butternut squash pasta was to die for. Excellent snapper with top notch ingredients. Topped it off with a perfectly sized Italian wedding cake and vanilla gelato.
Always wonderful! Food, service and wine are fabulous!
Exquisite seasonal food, knowledgeable waiters and a serene setting--a perfect place for a special lunch.
Everything is great!!! Just need to upgrade everything... meaning interior and exterior! The fence got to go! They’ve been there for so long just need new design/decors... In order to attract new & younger crowds.
P.S. They can also lower their prices down a lil bit.
Fabulous menu and excellent cuisine. Decor was very tasteful and sophisticated. Waitstaff were very knowledgeable and prompt.
Great food. Good service. They had a long list of off the menu specials that the waiter went through too quickly. The description of the specials could have been better. Tables are close together so you hear the people at the next table. All the staff were very nice.
Quiet, intimate, Exquisite, delicious... Perfect place for lunch
The best food in Houston--however, it is priced to match! Worth it every time, especially if the specials are good, which they nearly always are.
Best restaurant in Houston!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary in a quiet corner table — late night fantastic. Will be back again soon.
I hadn’t been here in 15 years and it was 15 years too long. To this day, I think they have the most authentic Italian food in Houston. They also sell bottles of their olive oil that comes from Sicily. I have several reasons to come back soon.
The best of the best!
Our favorite restaurant in all of Houston. The truffles are to die for.
Very disappointing! First of all the table that they put us at was right in the middle of the walkway so all night waiters were right over our heads. I ordered the tomatoes and burrata salad which was not very good and ordered the Dover sole which I usually love but it tasted fishy...did not seem fresh. My husband had a special, blue crab ravioli and he was ill that night. Needless to say I would not recommend it.
