   Always a nice relaxing meal, with great service and the owner/chef comes out and plays piano. Is a little small so suggest you make reservations.

   Classic charm with excellent hospitality and service. The food is wonderful homemade just right portions. The warm bread served initially we will remember and it's just bread! Make sure to try the dessert called millefoglie which is spectacular. I've never had it! Linger after dinner to hear the owner (I think) sing and play the piano and take you to Italy.

   Everything at Da Filippo is fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully from appetizers to dessert. An authentic italian restaurant from the layout to the food to the service.

   Filippo is the best. After a wonderful meal, he jumps out on the piano for a few songs a great evening.

   This was my first time dining at da Filippo, and I look forward to going again. We tried all three specials, and all were excellent. Dinner was special and was the best meal I have had in the Somerville area. The piano playing and singing only added to an amazing night.

   Filippo and Berti are awesome people who truly care about their patrons. The food, music, and ambiance was spectacular at Fa Filippo’s. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to enjoy the full Sicilian cuisine. Five star!!

   Amazing restaurant, first time in US I ate European quality food, great taste, all homemade, definitely will come back, very nice and helpful owners, they came to welcome us. First time I don't receive check before I ask, which is amazing and I really appreciate that, that's how it should works everywhere, look and learn Americans :)

    One of the best Italian restaurants. Beats almost all places in Manhattan. It is really a gem. Second time dinning. The food is perfect . It is BYOB, so bring your wine. Everything we tried was amazing. Small me u and everything if cook per order. Best cream brûlée I’ve had in years. If you’re ever in the area, please try it.
