Great food, excellent customer service.
Loved the decor and the indoor seating arrangement was very good as it still gave each table the much needed space in these times of pandemic related dining experiences.
The service was very good, attentive and prompt. Food was wonderful, tasty, fresh and just exact in flavor. Cocktails were lovely too.
Enjoyed the experience and will definitely add this to my regular restaurants i would visit in the neighborhood.
Two thumbs up!!
Da Claudio is definitely a place I will schedule more of our corporate dinners when we are in town. Lovely atmosphere, amazing service (really, really amazing), terrific food. They took care of all 9 of us in spectacular form. All 9 of us really enjoyed our meals!!
Thank you so much for making our first dinner in NYC a great one!
We were in town fir the Van Gogh exhibit and stayed at the Millenium. This had good reviews and was close to the hotel. It did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated. The service was phenomenal. I had the Waygu Bolognese and my boyfriend had Rigatoni Amatriciana. His son and daughter-in-law met us there and he had the Spinach Fettucini. We started off with a watermelon burrata salad and a frito misto. All superb. They have a wonderful wine list and lovely desserts.
Great fun and friendly restaurant! Great service and food. Would definitely dine here again.
My absolute Favorite Italian restaurant in NYC! Claudio, Linda and staff make sure you have an excellent experience.
Da Claudio Ristorante was a wonderful spot for a nice and charming dinner. If you’re looking for a basic pasta dish, you won’t find it here however. With a spicy Black Linguine and seafood medley dishes and pasta rings, the menu items were different than most anywhere I’ve been. A modern, but classy interior mixed with fantastic service of great food made for a wonderful night out.
Honestly, this place has really gone downhill post pandemic. Food was bland, service was terrible. I used to love this place, and now I’m never coming back. Save yourself and pick a different place. We left very unsatisfied.
I love eating here. My friends and I always have such a wonderful experience.
Dominick and his crew at Da Claudio go out of their way to ensure a quality meal and impeccable service. Since I work in the area, Da Claudio has become my go to spot for entertaining clients, office staff and friends. The wine list is expanding and the prices are reasonable. The pasta dishes are prepared to perfection and the chicken Milanese is one of my favorites. They have set up a decent outdoor "patio" right on Ann Street that is closed off to vehicular traffic in the evening.
I highly recommend Da Claudio as a neighborhood spot for those who work or live in the Wall Street area and for visitors who are looking for an excellent, reasonably priced Italian meal.
Our first visit...we weren't disappointed. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious(the grilled octopus app was off the charts). Da Claudio's will be on our restaurant rotation in NYC.
Great food options for meat and veggie lovers. Attentive service.
Great food, good service, ambiance. Prices are relatively reasonable.
In NYC for my second business trip post-COVID and stopped in to Da Claudio. Highly recommend! I had the Pasta with Wagyu Bolognaise - really delicious. My only problem was that I would have loved to try multiple pastas and I could only eat so much! This is a place I would seek out if in that area of NYC again. Also super friendly and attentive service. Go check it out.
Getting together with friends for an evening of catching up, we had a delightful time. Food and service were tops as usual. Just back in NY after being gone for almost 2 years and so happy Da Claudio survived!!
This has always been a favorite spot for me. I’m happy to say after not being here due to Covid - it’s lost nothing at all. The food is great and the service is wonderful. It was great to be back.
A great neighborhood gem! Amazing good and service! Their chicken and Caesar Salad were delicious!
Amazing service! everyone was very friendly and attentive
Good news: Was in the mood for octopus and Da Claudio's polipo dish did not disappoint.
Even gooder news: Everything else was just as amazing!
All the food was delicious. As we were leaving, all of us commented that we would return when we are in the neighborhood again.
Yummy pasta, great staff! Super nice, accommodating, and welcoming 😊
This is my go to restaurant downtown. Have visited dozens of times and it never fails to deliver. The service staff are fantastic and it's not unusual for Claudio to be onsite. Jose at the bar is a master and one of the friendliest bartenders in the city. Whenever friends visit the city we tell them they MUST go!!!
Service was excellent! Food was very good!
Da Claudio is a gem. We loved the food pasta is fabulous. Seasonal appetizer of stuffed zucchini blossoms was the highlight of my meal. 5 star Carbonara for my husband and fusilli with lamb ragu and saffron cream was so delicious. Dessert portion was double what we expected.
But the headline is OUTSTANDING SERVICE. What a well oiled machine! This team all worked together seamlessly. Can't wait to go back.
Our waitress Flor was amazing. Her wine and food recommendations were right on point . Food was delicious! Service was above and beyond. Will be coming back!
Staff and food were out of this world.
Wonderful wonderful small spot. Truly a hidden gem. Staff was so kind and pleasant.
Got great value from the Happy Hour menu! They have limited options but the price point and availability of Happy Hour on the weekend makes it worth it for a casual catch up with friends on the weekend.
The appetizers were alright! The vibe could have been better with dim lights to create a more enjoyable experience!
The Calamari was not the best I've had since it was just oily and battered and the flavor could've been more pronounced! The Ricotta Gnocci in the Pesto sauce on the other hand was very enjoyable! The complimentary bread served was not toasted or warm so it did not necessarily enhance the experience!
The service however spoilt my overall experience as our server kept hovering around us, rushing us to keep ordering while we were enjoying our current order and having a good time catching up with each other; wiping our table while we were still dining which also pressured us to rush our meal and watch out for bits falling on our clothes; and was evidently intemidating with her responses and comments to us and her collegues about us. All we wanted was a good Happy Hour experience and not to be felt like we wanted to leave asap to be more at ease!
Every person was so nice and hospitable, food was great and came out in a reasonable time frame. Can’t wait to go back
The staff and food was excellent.
Food portions were just the right amount and the place was the perfect ambience for a quiet dinner.
Nice place in the hood!
Great service and friendly atmosphere. Wonderful food from hors d'oeuvres to entrees to desserts. A nice variety of menu choices with some innovative creations and new taste combinations. The prices are okay and the ambience is calm. Highly recommended!
Three of us had a really nice meal. Shared a few appetizers and we each got a different pasta. All were delicious. Drinks were good as well and we were lucky enough to sample a cucumber mint cocktail which was very refreshing. We'd definitely go back.
Loved the ambiance and the service was top notch. The octopus was overdressed, and more importantly, overcooked so it was tough and rubbery. Some of the frito misto di mare was old so it was fishy so had to ask for more spicy aioli. The seafood risotto was under seasoned so had to add salt.
The Negroni was good, as was the chocolate mousse cake, so I’ll would only go back for cocktails and dessert.
De Claudio ws recommended to us by the Beekman Hotel staff , they were located with 1-2 block of each other . We made a reservation online and upon arrival we were given our choice of inside or outside dining
The restaurant was modern look , kitchen is some what visible to customers .
Staff was excellent , friendly , attentive and had great Covid safety measure in place .
Staff went out of their way to made sure we had great experience !!
The food was fantastic , we had clam Linguini and a lamb ragu pasta dish .
For starters we have the meat & cheese platter serve with bread _ the bread was made on site and was really good
Overall a really great dinner
I had a truly marvelous dinner at Da Claudio. I was able to eat outside, for pandemic safety, on an improvised but pleasant area on the street that they had made as nice as possible (and the street is quite quiet, which was also good). The food was wonderful and the service attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Both the pear and gorgonzola salad and the seafood risotto were wonderful. I was completely satisfied and wish I didn't live so far away!
A neighbor gem! Great food, great service. We always have a good time when we go.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Excellent food and service!
Neighborhood gem. Always great food (with good happy hour menu and daily specials). Service is always fantastic.
