da Capo - Avon
Taylor is a great server and the food was delicious
Fantastic food and the hostess and waitress were both extremely kind and helpful with our kids. Really a favorite in town.
Very good food. Terrific service. Will definitely go back!
Excellent food...salmon cooked perfect and the pizza had the perfect crust, sauce was good
Waitress and staff were awesome. The food never disappoints!
The food is very good, totally enjoyed the meal. I ordered to appetizers, the beet salad and the mussels. Bothe very good.
Awesome , pizzas great! Toscana salad to die for!
It’s always amazing at DaCapo’s and they made my daughters night special by surprising her with an amazing dessert for her birthday !!
Useless wait staff, say for 15 minutes completely ignored.
Loved it, great atmosphere, service and attention to detail. Food is outstanding
Chaotic dinner. Restaurant was busy and understaffed. Extremely high noise level. Food was brought out before table was cleared from salad and apps. The food runner (not the waiter) was literally trying to place the dinners on top of the uncleared dishes. At this point we requested to speak with the manage/owner, who then humiliated the waiter right in front of us when it was not Enron his fault. Very disappointed.
I love this place! Great food all the time! Pizza’s are amazing as well as salads and entrees! Toscano salad! Gambini shrimp are amazing! The prosciutto pizza with Arugula is to die for!!
Went for an early dinner on a Sunday at 4:30 pm. Restaurant was not busy at all. Order was taken for drinks & when the waitress returned with the drinks she took our food order. Out of the Lasagna. Waitress commented that Saturday night was very busy & they were out of several menu items including the grilled chicken. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana, because lasagna wasn’t available. I ordered the Apple salad with grilled shrimp. The waitress said she would return with rolls. She did, but they were extremely burnt on top, blackened in fact. Our meals came. The Apple salad I ordered was unimpressive for $19. Consisting of mainly romaine lettuce, some cheese, some nuts & cranberries & slices of apple. The chicken in the Chicken parmigiana was rubbery, indicating it may have been reheated. The sauce was good. Very disappointing. We’ve been here before with a large party & everything was delicious. Unfortunately, not sure if we’ll return. Waitress was very attentive & friendly.
Had the tuna special, it was delicious!!
I have never had a bad meal here!!!
Excellent salads and pizza. And salmon. Our only complaint was that the lasagna was not served hot. Very friendly and helpful waitress.
Service was a little slow in the beginning and seemed a little hectic inside. We had 3 servers walk passed us without giving us water, plates, or utensils until a guy who looked like he would be the bus boy gave us some. The server did apologize that they did a weird set up with their sections. After that everything moved quickly. Portions are big and food was very good. We also got 2 drinks that were okay but I would not get them again for 11$. Overall not to bad
Exceptional service, Margo was great! Food about the best we’ve had in the area, great job! Came back a second time in the same week.
Great Italian food that goes beyond the basics.
Waitress assigned our table near kitchen and table in opposite end. Water was not refilled. Bread was not delivered. Owner did send complimentary chips. Waitress came by very infrequently. This is not first time service was horrible. The food is good quality but they can’t seem to anticipate service needs.
Our Pizza arrived Luke warm...lacked flavor. If that's the best they can do...it's below average. Not impressed
We dined with a group of eleven. They accommodated us with a private area. Our waitress could not have been better. She was cheerful and made us all feel wonderful.
Everything was great as usual! Highly recommend the hot lobster roll! It was delicious! Server appeared to be relatively new or disinterested - however everything else was awesome!
Service was a little slow but good was very good as always, slightly overpriced. Bar was a little crowded and noisy, which spilled over into our seating area, which I’m guessing was our location because we were Open Table customers
The food was excellent. The service was very slow and not good.
Maybe just an off night....
Although our waitress was new, she tried very hard to make everyone's experience great. We thoroughly enjoyed our salads and loved the atmosphere. It made it very comfortable to sit and chat for two hours with our very dear friends.
We love coming to da Capo! All the staff is friendly, efficient and flexible! Food was delicious as always. We were on the deck which was great.... music piped from inside was a bit loud, but our waitress explained the setup and did her best to lower it!
Our favorite go to!
I ordered an ice coffee and waited 15 minutes to get the milk and sweetener to put in it. It was a
very warm evening and, by the time the milk and sweetener arrived, all of the ice had melted. In
addition, my salad was supposed to have mozzarella balls in it and my friend had requested adding
polenta croutons to her salad and neither items were in our salads. We both, still, enjoyed our salads
and, in fact, the grilled chicken we ordered to be added on, was quite good. It was not very busy, so
we were a little unhappy with how infrequently our waitress appeared and regarding the issues with
our order. At the same time, it is not fair to base your experience on one time, so will try again, probably, in the not too distant future.
There was quite a crash of several glasses of wine and one of our three patrons had wine splashed on them. While the server was concerned about cleaning up the floor he did not inquire as to whether any of us were impacted. The food arrival was slow and the chicken marsala was overcooked. We have had much better experiences at da Capo and would assume that this was just an off night for them and our overall experience has been good in other visits.
Birthday & Father’s Day
This place gets better and better! Went for Father's Day and the variety of high-quality dishes was astounding. Attentive service on a busy night. Food was hot when it came out. Dishes were cleanly presented. Food was terrific. (Amazing bread)
We went here for Father’s Day dinner and sat on the covered patio. The food was excellent and the servers were friendly. We will be going back!
Outdoor dinner with girlfriends. Great evening and food, service was poor on food delivery but waiter was nice. They kept delivering our food to the wrong table and same on the people at the table for keeping it.
Great restaurant ! Good food, great service and wont break the bank. Outdoor seating for those nice days and convenient parking. I would highly recommend diCapos, it’s my family’s go to restaurant
Great Italian food ! Cozy seating outdoors when the weather is nice. Good family style options. Nice variety of salads. Gluten free options as well.
My guest and I were very pleased with our dining experience. We hadn't seen each other in years and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Our waiter (sorry, I forgot his name) was very good and did not rush us.
There was many open tables but we were sat right next to where the servers put in orders. They were noisy and at times unprofessional. Food is always consistent and tasty.
We had a really nice time while enjoying the family size Tuscan salad and bolognese. There was plenty of food for four people and enough to take home. Strongly recommend’
Good food, great service. Large bar and the dicapo chips are the best
The service and the food was very nice and appreciated! Many choices to choose from also!
