Good prices and very good service. Lots of choices. Would recommend to others.
This was a perfect spot to celebrate our March Madness of birthdays. We tried the mussels appetizer which was so delicious I had to control myself from drinking the broth. The cavatelli shrimp and salmon in pesto sauce is highly recommended. The portions were satisfying, the prices reasonable and wait staff knowledgeable and charming.
As out of towners we try to visit different restaurants when we come to NYC. This was our second visit here and we will definitely be back. Great place!
excellent, we were on a tight schedule and the staff checked in with us 10 minutes before we needed to leave.
We also had 2 extra guests arrive and they were able to accommodate us.
Will go again!
A very solid local Italian place. Always go there when I am in the area. Great value and food on the money every time as far as I am concerned
We had a wonderful meal!! The waitress was not too friendly
We had an amazing dinner! Start to finish all of our meals were terrific!
Da Andrea is the perfect place to eat authentic Italian food. The food is superb, there is a good variety of italian wines priced reasonably and the service could not be more attentive and kind.
A place to return over and over again...
This restaurant is superb! Every dish is a work of art and is tasty.
Great value . Pastas are very good. Friendly staff.
We love this place, it is one of our go-to's for family special events as well as neighborhood dining. The fresh pasta is prepared on site, there is a good and reasonable house wine and the services is attentive and personalized.
Fantastic food! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable- house wine was a great value too!
The food was authentic and delicious; service was excellent and the wine terrific! We were visiting from out of town but will return when we are back in NYC. Nice hidden gem!!
Great food, great service, cozy, charming space! Finally, our meal for six did not break the bank.
Great food. Excellent specials. Always a treat. Service a little off, but okay.
Excellent restaurant, pastas were delicious. Salmon was good as well. Very well priced. House carafe wine was very good.
I didn’t not try the Italian dishes but did have risotto with scallops. Risotto was average and good scallops - size and preparation. Next time would definitely have an Italian dish to give it a true test. Being of Italian American background, I’m very particular about restaurant Italian food.
Good Italian food!!! Like the ambiance. Will be back.
Lovely dinner with delicious food and attentive staff. Everything I've ever had there has been super tasty. Def would recommend to anyone.
D'Andrea is one of my favorite NYC restaurants. Courteous efficient service. Strong menu with excellent specials, two of which my friend and I had on Saturday night and we were not disappointed: chicken ravioli and pork tenderloin pieces that they allowed me to substitute grilled zucchini from broccoli rabe. Highly recommended for its convenience to Greenwich Village activities and its overall excellence.
We've been here a number of time, and it never fails to please. The food is excellent and the staff super friendly. We'll be back!
Excellent salads; fresh ingredients! Homemade artichoke ravioli was great. Had an authentic Italian trattoria vibe.
Overall a lovely dining experience.
I went with my 3 grandsons and my son - all sophisticated and substantial foodies. For once there was no complaint about portion size or available variety.
I really enjoyed the food. My veal and spinach ravioli was excellent. My wife had the clams and squid ink paste. Others at our table enjoyed their food also. The service was great. Always there when we needed something but never obtrusive. Nice atmosphere. Not too fancy but very comfortable. Will definitely go back.
We were celebrating a friend's ordination and wanted a nice, quality meal where we could visit and relax and enjoy the company and the food. Da Andrea was perfect. I loved the intimate size and the service was wonderful. Attentive and yet, relaxed. The food was so good. I got the Insalata tiepida di polipo (Warm octopus, potatoes, black olives & capers) and the interplay of the ingredients were well balanced. Another diner got the special: smoked mozzarella ravioli with browned-butter and balsamic reduction. I won't go into it all but we were all lingering over our food, savoring the experience and the time together. So , of course we had to get dessert. And for me, the panda cotta was perfect. Perfect! If I lived nearby, this would be mine little gem.
We had a great dinner with friends. Didn't break the bank and we all enjoyed ourselves. The food is good and the wine is well priced.
This is a solid Italian restaurant that had a congenial wait staff and offers great value. It is on the small side so make reservations a couple days in advance to ensure a table.
Always enjoyable, well-prepared cuisine with courteous but solicitous service at a reasonable price.
Local Italian restaurant that you don’t want too many to know about lest it becomes inaccessible. We are from New Haven and go out of our way to dine at De Andrea. The staff are always welcoming mean and add to the pleasure of eating there.
This restaurant is right next door to my daughter ‘s apartment and always looks busy ! It appears to be a neighborhood favorite in the Village.
Finally went for dinner and it is the perfect non- touristy local Italian restaurant and very reasonably priced .
A neighborhood gem !
We like everything about it. Great food, nice service, relatively quiet as advertised. Highly recommend. Will go back for sure.
It is an authentic taste of Italy in NYC. Prices are reasonable. Overall, totally delicious
Two of us had fish— one special and one salmon- both were fishy! Friend’s wine was off but they replaced it. Food very average.
We have been to Da Andrea 3 times, and each visit was very good. The food is genuine Italian, prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.
We met old friends for dinner and introduced them to Da Andrea! They live within walking distance but didn't know it was there! They both enjoyed their dinners (artichoke ravioli and grilled cod) very much and plan to return. I also had the cod (which was exceptional) and my husband had the jumbo shrimp. We shared a bottle of good red wine. I had the berries with sabayon while they had the chocolate cake with salted caramel gelato. A very pleasant evening for us all!
We got there when the restaurant opened at 5 P.M. The service was excellent even though one of our guests kept changing their pasta order.
The pasta dishes were excellent and the service very good.
da andrea is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. the food is always excellent; the service friendly and very good; the atmosphere local and so pleasant. we highly recommend it.
We absolutely loved Da Andrea. The pasta is amazing. The service is quick and you can't beat the price. We will be back for sure.
