There good was great and the service, once seated was great. I only take a star away for the 12 minutes we awaited to be seated even though we had a reservation
It was busy but the hostess seemed to be cleaning tables versus greeting the pool of people at the stand
I think the restaurant must be understaffed
good bye d. Vino at least we got to try you it will be closing this week
The food and drinks were great!! We were going to a concert at the T-Mobile Arena, and it was perfect having a wonderful dinner with amazing service and then just walking across the street to the concert!!
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I researched my options before the trip and this restaurant had been given great reviews. I can only assume these reviews had been given by customers who dined prior to 9:00. I mistakenly selected the 9:15 reservation option for dinner. I arrived for my reservation to find that the receptionist had stepped away from her station and wasn't too enthused to greet us once she appeared from the back. She didn't bother to properly greet us or apologize for the wait, she just picked up menus and walked towards the table. Once we were at the table I had to have three glasses of water given to me before a drinkable glass of water was received. My dinner was okay. After dinner was over I wished that I had chosen another restaurant. The service and food were well below all I expected.
Went for their bread sauce Sunday special. Everything was excellent especially the shrimp arancinis.
We had a very nice meal until the bill was brought out before being asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. We did not take the hint and proceeded to order coffee, tea and dessert. The coffee and tea were served without any spoons. My ice cream came without any spoons, the waiter brought two spoons, the first we received. I was waiting for my wife to receive her dessert and finally ate my ice cream before it melted. Final the waitress saw my wife waiting and had her dessert delivered. Don't order dessert, they don't know what to do. Hard to believe an Italian restaurant does not know how to serve coffee!
Food & beverage was just ok. This is a glorified Olive Garden. The food lacked a lot of flavor, I don't think we would come back unless it was the only thing open. There just wasn't anything special about the restaurant.
We went to this restaurant at 6pm before a concert at the Park Theater. Our waiter must have been new, very new or just tired of working. I asked for bottled water and he said they didn't have bottled water! I told him to go ask someone.....what restaurant does not have bottled water? Then when he brought us our bottled water, he did not bring us Water glasses, I had to flag him down for water glasses! We ordered an appetizer and at the same time he wanted us to order our entrée. We told him no we're going to wait till we have our appetizer we were in no hurry because we had an 8 o'clock concert to go to and we don't want them brought at the same time. The meatball appetizer was very good. During the entire meal, We never got bread sticks, and did not realize we should have had bread sticks until we were ready to leave and all tables had bread sticks! We were never asked or offered Parmesan cheese for the pasta entrée or salt or ketchup for my steak & fries. And at the end of our meal, he never asked if we wanted a coffee or dessert....I was just handled my check! Since we had another 45 minutes to spare we probably would've ordered coffee and dessert but we decide to pass since my check was already sitting in front of me! The meal was good but the service was not! I sympathize with new waiters/waitresses I know their job is hard but this was just poor service!
My husband and I chose this as our special "date night" while in Vegas and we were not disappointed!
Underwhelming Italian food. Excellent service. Just not worth the money for bland food. Go to Rao's instead.
A pre-concert dinner at d-Vino was decent. Not the best Italian food at or near the strip, but if you are in Monte Carlo then it's a decent option.
Don't get the chicken parm. It was dry, paper thin and no flavor. Otherwise, the seafood ravioli was good, the penne vodka was delicious. The spinach salad was fantastic! Our server Jeffrey/Geofrey (?), was the best part of the meal. He was awesome with a great personality. There were only 3 or 4 tables with people, so not sure how it would be if busier.
We are here ONLY because we were attending a show at Park Theater. Food was average at best. Maybe for those who enjoy Olive Garden they would think this is fine dining. I'm not sure. Thankfully we only opted for the $29 Sunday special. We got what we paid for. Laughably, the half price wines list were stuff you can buy in a grocery store for $7-20/bottle, and the markup was up to 5x.
I opted for a beer, but they were out of both the beers I tried to select. We instead enjoyed water with our average meal.
We only dined at this restaurant because it was close to the venue. We were attending a concert at the Monte Carlo and figured this would be a good place to eat. The food was mediocre at best but the waiter was hardly around and the restaurant was not that crowded. The server would come with the food, drop it on the table and run off. We received our appetizer and no dishes. We had to use the small bread dishes to eat the appetizer. We received our pizza and still no dishes. We had to use the small bread dishes we had already used for our appetizers because he didn't bring us any dishes. We waited a bit so we could ask him for grated cheese to put on the pizza but gave up after a while and the pizza was cold by the time we started eating it. Halfway through the pizza, he runs past and I catch him to ask for the grated cheese. We had to wait another 10 minutes for him to remember to come back with the cheese. Once we finished our meal, the waiter comes by the table ready to drop the check without even asking us if we wanted dessert. Not sure what the rush was since the restaurant was far from full and I can see why. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the food or the service. The only reason they are in business is because of the convenient location.
Excellent team. Food awsome! Price good. Bread geourgeos
Our first visit. It was picked because of its closeness to the show we were seing that evening. Food was very good, service was very good. Drinks were also great. The only complaint I had was being charged the full price ($14) for a non-alcoholic drink. I felt that was a bit steep for no booze. Also we were reported as not making our reservation and I had to deal with open table to get it changed. !!! Which they fixed quite promptly. Now let's see if I really get my 100 points! I'd recommend it and we would def. go back again.
My husband and I chose D.Vino because it was located in the Monte Carlo and was close to a show we were going to see. Our server Gregory was very nice and efficient. Our food was very good. One of the negatives was receiving an outdated drink menu. It was disappointing that my husband could not have the beer that he wanted.
Stayed at the Monte Carlo and was going to T-Mobile so this restaurant was very convenient. Table was ready when we arrived, breadsticks were terriffic, Service was excellent and food was very good. Would go back again.
Four friends dined prior to a show. The staff started out friendly and helpful but once it got busy they started to rush us and get a little rude. They wanted to remove our food before we finished and wanted our dessert order before we finished our entree . The food was mediocre....some was good most was not tasty or enjoyed. The worst part is they did not provide coin change when the bill was paid...guess they assumed most people leave it so they didn't even bother. We never experienced this before. No one in our party of 4 would return or recommend. Quite a disappointment!
Typical traditional Italian menu. Service good. Thanks
Loved the food! Best Carbonera I have had in many years. Wife loved her Gnocchi equally. Excellent wine choices. Service was less than stellar, but adequate. Great choice before the show.
Service is extremely slow! Had an hour and a half for dinner before our show started and we ended up having to cancel some of our orders because it was taking forever to get out food out - not servers fault. Also wine delivered to the table and server indicated she was not able to uncork it, needed to wait for the manager - again, had to wait. Also, we were told here were not enough clean wine glasses, so some of my colleagues had to wait for wine glasses. There were only 9 of us - not 30!
The food was very disappointing. My pizza arrived cold. The server took it to be heated and it was still cold, even the server was stunned. The time this all took meant my friends had finished eating, although they did share their food with me. When the manager did get over to our table, he offered a free dessert, which I declined. He said the pizzzas are freshly made and not frozen, but I doubt it....
Their portions were really small, especially for an Italian restaurant, so don't go with a big appetite. The eggplant parmigiana consisted of two thin slices of breaded eggplant with cheese. There are other better Italian restaurants nearby.
Being retired military and being stationed in Sicily devino's is a very authentic Italian restaurant I could not give enough gold stars to the authenticity of this place and it is one of my favorite places to eat while in Las Vegas I'm saddened to hear though that MGM will not be allowing davina's to be part of their new Monte Carlo renovations it will be their loss
Run if the mill, run down eating site. Reasonable menu, but actually the same sauce, with some added ingredients, poured over this or that. Something the children might put together when the folks are not home. The bread was the best thing on the table, but even that was not special. Even the wine menu was at an average home town level. Not what you are seeking on a Las Vegas visit.
We go to d.vino every time we go to Las Vegas. We love the food and wine is spectacular. The service is always great. If you have not gone, you are missing out.
We made reservations and were seated in the back on the room which looked like a banquet hall. Service was horrendous and after ordering a bottle of wine, we were presented with brandy snifters. When we asked for REAL wine glasses we were told that they were washing them. Then once we received the actual glasses he said, "everyone is mad at me for bringing these to you". The food was very marginal and the ice cream for dessert was disgusting. Funky tasting with freezer burn and the chocolate chip ice cream tasted like rosemary. Overall a horrendous dining experience that cost over $200!!!
Food was great, Drinks were great , Taylor was great! Thanks for a fun evening!
Food unremarkable which was disappointing as it used to be our favourite place to eat in vegas a few years ago
Did not have a reservation for that resturant on that day.
The staff was nice but the food was horrible. Except the breadsticks. Those were the best.
We were greeted and seated quickly. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly. Daniella was our waitress and she provided outstanding service. She knew the menu well and had great suggestions. The bread sticks are served in a glass and they were hot and wonderful. We tried the shrimp appetizer, Spinach salad and a pasta dish. The prices were reasonable. They did have a lovely Valentine's Day menu which the table next to us ordered. The menu looked wonderful! It is only $58 which was a great value for all the food. The food came out quickly and hot. I would recommend asking for this hard working and knowledgeable waitress as she will provide you with a great dinning experience. I was impressed as a manger stopped by each table to be sure everything was wonderful. This is a really good restaurant and worth your attention.
Decent meal. Decor is showing lots of wear and tear. I needed to request 3 different chairs before we got one that didn't look and feel like it was decades old. Good service. Mediocre food quality.
Food was fantastic! Great place to go before a show at the Monte Carlo casino .
Very good restaurant in a place with thousands of choices. Very good food and desserts.
It's right by pool tables in casino with loud music. Food is fair. Service is great.
Had a confirmed reservation for 630. The host station was taking names on a legal pad. It was complete chaos. People were pushin and shoving to get to poor kid at desk. Had to check 4x on reservation. 30 minutes later dropped at table and all but abandoned. Service was virtually non-existent. Took our order for risotto special and later had to tell us it had changed to something else. The risotto was basically a bowl of mush for $30. Missed part of show at Park Theater, steps away, because of this awful experience.
Reservation was a total joke and got seated over an hour late. Owner needs to triple the staff. Our poor waitress was serving, making all drinks at the bar and bussing tables. Stop abusing the staff, and it may be better.
We had our wedding reception dinner here for a group of 18 people. Their menu showed a great selection so, we thought there would be something for everyone and Italian food is a crowd pleaser. Their entree prices are comparable to Red Lobster (if that gives you an idea). I was pleased with my meal. I ordered the gnocchi with a seafood sauce. They allowed me to substitute that for the veal sauce it normally comes with as I am a Pescaterian. My husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs. He said that the meatballs were dry and flavorless. I don't know how you mess up meatballs being an Italian restaurant?! My matron of honor had lobster ravioli and that was delicious. Prior to the entrees, we were served breadsticks with a marinara sauce of sorts and that enjoyed by everyone. We didn't order dessert just because we weren't hungry for it. All in all, I think half of our group was happy and the other half were dissatisfied. It comes down to your selection so, choose wisely and you might like it. The service was gray though and they brought out a free tiramisu for me and my new husband. I hope this helps someone :)
We went to this restaurant to celebrate 2 birthday parties , we are traveling from San Diego to Vegas to spent a good time, well our Dinner was at this restaurant, I will said the restaurant looks much better in photos then in real life, kind of old place, well , the food was not the greatest one, and I think was kind of pricey for what this restaurant is advertising, food was regular flavor , I think Olyvevgarden can taste better, my problem started when I've forget my birthday gifts at the restaurant, and returned 1 hour after we finished dinner, obviously the restaurant was closed, but was a couple employees who were there and we asked them about our birthday bags, they answered they didn't see nothing and they didn't know nothing, was so weird to heard this , because we were the last clients at the restaurant, how 2 bags can disappear just like that??? We call the next day and looks like nobody knows nothing, nobody took the bags, and we went sent to lost and found department at the montecarlo they told us that nobody for this restaurant reported anything lost? Is such a shame to hear something like this, because I understand was my error left my gift bags there, but... I think is more horrible find out that you can not trust this restaurant with your stuff at all, if they denied about this personal belongings to a client, what type of restaurant you can trust with their service???
By the way, I can't even rate Haylee service , based on this situation, because the waitress could it report this incident to lost and found.
The food was good and service okay (except for the bartender). However, don't come here if you don't want cigarette smoke from the casino to sting your eyes and throat while eating. Not knowing the location of the restaurant beforehand, we chose it based on the fact it had a good selection of pasta dishes as we were trying to eat more carbohydrates before the Rock'n'Roll Half Marathon. We were dismayed to find it's right in the casino. Thankfully they didn't seat us right by the entrance but it was still horrible. We had to wait around 15 minutes for the table and the bartender completely ignored us. Oh well, on to the food. We ordered the bruschetta and the meatballs as appetizers (both very good) and chicken saltimbocca cannelloni and rigatoni with sausage for the main course. It was all far too much food and the cannelloni was quite bland, apart from the prosciutto topping. Overall, I would not recommend this place because of the ambiance. There are other good Italian restaurants on the Strip where you don't get "smoke in your eyes". Avoid.
