D Bar Denver
Drinks: We have an excellent wine, beer and D Bar concoctions menu that suits all price ranges and occasions. We even have a wine made just for us called Mr. Cupcake by award winning wine maker, Charles Smith!! Time for some after work fun? Join us for Nibbles and Sips Happy Hour!
Dining: D Bar isn’t based on one particular "type" of dining. As chefs, we pull from what we personally enjoy eating. Thus, our menu is based on our childhood favorites, inspiration from travels, and simply just "things we like to eat"!
Dessert: Our passion and background is pastry! We have designed D Bar with a unique dessert bar! It's the best seating in the house as you watch pastry chefs create beautiful plated desserts right before your eyes!
We are never disappointed in the food. However, when we made our reservation, we indicated we were celebrating a birthday. There was no acknowledgement of our special occasion. Why ask us if we are celebrating anything special if you aren’t going to acknowledge it.
I live in San Francisco and come here when we visit. Love the amazing desserts.
We came for early dinner on mother's Day and enjoyed happy hour menu of drinks and item specials which was a great deal. Our server allowed us to linger until dinner menu was available.
Dessert choices all fabulous and overall experience made for a memorable evening.
Great service and the food was outstanding. We will be back.
First timers! Delicious and fun. We enjoyed ourselves.
I went for Mother's Day brunch. All the food was lovely, but their waffle machine broke and there was a wait on anything with a waffle in it. They switched an order of beignets with table next to us, but they made everything good, and compensated us with extra sweets at the end :)
Always save room for dessert. I just wish they had no TV screens.
Food was great, service was very sporadic today.
Good, not great. Dishes had a good one note taste. It's a nice place. Waitress was very nice. Not amazing, but good.
Dinner was good, but not great. Dessert was definitely the highlight and well worth the okay dinner. For a neighborhood restaurant, it's great. If you're trekking here, I'd recommend coming here just for dessert and after dinner drinks. Bartender was our waiter as well, he was hopping but delivered great service.
I visit D Bar for all our special occasions. This particular visit was not our usual experience. Our service was unacceptable, 3 out of our 4 dishes were good, but the 4th was disappointing. What the menu described and what we got were not the same. We were told they ran out of one of the key ingredients. With these prices and quality of food, the dish should not have been served if as not per menu. You should expect excellent service and top quality plates at D Bar, every time!
Easter brunch! Had dined here for dessert before but not for a meal. Really great food, environment, service, and value.
D Bar has very good food and the service is also good. It is very noisy (loud) in the dining area. Be prepared to talk at a high level.
I love this place. The food, the service! Can’t beat it ☺️
Service was awful!! Put our order in and waited and waited, then waitress comes over and asks if we were ready to order!! Barely an apology for not putting our order in. Very disappointed!!
Our server was fantastic! He made our Saturday brunch the best!
I love the place. Its beautiful. Brett was awesome. Food was perfect and beautiful. Will come back.
D bar is amazing. We took my mother in law and she wouldn’t stop talking about the chocolate cake for several days!
Dessert fantastic, loud man next to us--not so much. Tables are so close together, it's like you are on top of each other. And add in someone who is extra loud, and it was unbearable.
Love dBar but it is loud. It could use some acoustic modifications.
Great place to celebrate a BIRTHDAY! Delicious food, extensive drink/wine menu, impressive happy hour deals - and obviously known for their AMAZING DESSERTS!
A favorite place of mine. I was surprised by the limited dessert menu. That said, cake and shake never dissapoints!
obviously you know you have a good thing - and we agree - just maybe be careful on the level of arrogance and pretense that can come across from your Wait Staff - it was really easy to get turned off by both - honor and respect the creators of the place, and take care of your customers with humility, everything else will take care of itself
Really enjoyed the extensive dessert menu.
Yummy happy hour, with lots of choices, that were all good! The beignets were delish too.
One of my favorites in Denver--DBar never disappoints!
Visiting with our son. Service was impeccable!
Nice neighborhood bar/restaurant. Will go again
Try the earl gray dessert cake!! It was SOOOOOO yummy 🤗🤗
I love this place. It's my go to any time we meet people in Denver.
Food was amazing and our server (Ashley I think) was so sweet and so attentive to our table. Will absolutely be making D-Bar a regular go-to spot
Definitely not as good as it used to be. I've been going to this restaurant for about 10 years and the last 6 visits spaced out have been terrible. Disappointing.
If you love dessert, you’ll love D bar. The food was super delicious and hot when it was brought out. The service was a tad slow; it look a while to get our servers attention to take our order but another server was more than happy to take it us and deliver it to our server.
When we put in our food order the food came out pretty fast compared to how busy it was and the food was done to perfection!
I come to d bar often. In most cases everything is great. This time the server was knowledgeable but seemed stressed and was not very focused. We had to ask multiple times for multiple things.
The lava chocolate cakes is amazing
This is one of the best restaurants in Denver!! I loved the food, wine, and desserts. Plan to spend at least an hour and a half there. We had the best waitress!! I love this place!!
Food was delicious. Pizza salad sandwich was tasty and on the lighter side. Service was good initially but then dropped off significantly as the meal progressed. we felt abandoned by the end with empty water glasses and waiting a long time for the check to appear.
We had the shakshouka and the chicken fried steak. Neither were extraordinary, but were tasty. The fresh press coffee was excellent and the service was excellent. The shakshouka for its price was very small in portion size and should have come with bread for dipping. We ordered bread on the side and the overall meal price jumped to $29 per person. A pricey breakfast for not much food.
Such a cute restaurant! Food was delicious and their desserts were even better!
