It was amazing to eat and be on a date there in the beautiful atmosphere, but we didn’t have drinks to go with our food. That was disappointing and the food we would watch sit at the station for awhile and not come to us
It was very loud and difficult to hear. It was extremely busy with wait staff running.
We had dinner and then dessert. The dessert takes at least 30 to 40 minutes to cook. I would have ordered it at the beginning of the meal had I known. And I definitely wouldn't have waited or ordered it after the meal because of the timing.
We had reservations and we were seated 15 minutes late in a small corner unable to enjoy the experience.
I would suggest sitting at the bar as a walk in. They had a much better experience.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and we had a great time. Our server, Lauren, was SUPER! She made sure there was a lit sparkler on the birthday friend's dessert and reminded him not to blow it out. She made the night perfect with recommendations, making sure we were doing well and just being a very bright spot in the evening.
Drinks were Lemon Drop Martini, Mezcali Dreamin and Dirty Martini. Desserts were Menage a Abricot, Chocolate souffles and filled beignets. You can't go wrong with any of these! We were able to talk, have laughs and feel very welcomed. If you want a place to celebrate, head on over to D Bar Denver!
I love the food here! The Mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Great service, always a good time.
Food, service, and overall experience was very, very good. We will definitely be back. Dessert was a highlight - of course!
Absolutely amazing. We were impressed in every aspect, including the meeting of Keegan Gerhard - who’s hospitality was above and beyond.
I wish they had more entree options. Other than that the food was good.
Seriosuly, the only place worth having desert in he entire city. If you see a 6'7 giant with blonde hair serving, he's your man.
Awesome food. Enjoyed it with family! Best French macaroon!
Went with some friends for dinner and were a little disappointed. We went in with high expectations based on the restaurant’s origins and location… drinks were good and we would go back for those, apps were good and we would partake again with a cocktail, mains courses leave a lot to be desired (variety was slim, prices were on the steeper side for what you got, and they took awhile to get out to us), but dessert is what they’re named after and likely the only reason we will make it back anytime soon.
Dinner and desserts were delicious and unique! Our service was exceptional! Will definitely be going back!
Overall this place is great. It is a little noisy, so keeping conversation requires raising voice a little. However I do not know if it gets better on non-weekend days. I really enjoyed their selection of specialty cocktails and "desertinis". They really make them innovative. Food wise, I think their mac-and-cheese is really awesome. I have also ordered steak and frites. Steak was cooked perfectly, but frites were a bit too salty. D Bar has an attached to them bakery, so in case you want to try some of their deserts to go or just pick up deserts to go, it's easy to do. It's definitely a good place to go to for special occasion, but just remember that it will be noisy. I would want to come back there again as things improve post-pandemic, and check their other seasonal menus
We went to haves dessert but shared macaroni and cheese as well. Loved it! We were celebrating daughter’s birthday and she was hoping for the 3 course desserts D Bar once had. But we enjoyed the food and our service was outstanding!
Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and tasty food! I would highly recommend for any time of day.
Love this restaurant! Had only been for their desserts (which were amazing) but was so excited to see that their dinner menu was fabulous as well. Great experience!
Service was fantastic, genuinely nice guy who was on top of everything from start to finish.
Food was great, especially the dessert (3 layer chocolate cake w/ malt milkshake) and Brussel Sprouts, which are phenomenal, so much flavor, just the right amount of kick on the sprouts. The chocolate cake was soft and decadent with gorgeous layers.
I had the Southern fried Belgian sandwich and my wife had the sliders. Loved both. My only nitpick with the Belgian sandwich is that the lettuce got a little slimy sitting on the sandwich.
Sitting outside was perfect. We didn’t want a table inside because it was just too loud. To be honest I’m ok with that. Just happy to see full restaurants again.
The steak is definitely not worth the $ and the combo of bleu cheese crumbles with parm fries is awful, they also don’t have steak sauce so it’s just dry and overly salty. I would say the bacon Mac and cheese saved the show and the frose rose is delish. Great place for drinks but dinner menu needs work!
This was our first time eating at the D Bar and we enjoyed it overall. Service was good, food was enjoyable. Parking is a beast so plan for that but if we are in Denver again we would stop by!
Great Bunch. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. Make a reservation as they stay busy.
D Bar is a local favorite! They are friendly and have amazing food. O and the drinks are great - especially the Desertinis!
Absolutely delicious. Loved the food, the drinks, and especially the dessert!
I thought our server and the food was amazing. I was just bummed the table next to us was celebrating their anniversary and got a desert with candles brought out and I let the restaurant know in advance we were there to celebrate her birthday. When I had to order from the case as if I was at a pastry shop it was a let down to finish our dinner like that. Knowing what the table beside us had just gotten. Also I ordered based on the menu online requesting the double down as an appetizer upon arrival. Which they did. Although they said that was no longer on the menu and I got changed a lot more than I wanted. I wish it was communicated with me prior. I enjoyed the restaurant and hope to go back but just maybe not for any special occasion.
Dbar is an amazing restaurant! Brunch is such a fun environment here, and I love the carafe of mimosas (passionfruit juice is the way to go!). The pizza salad sandwich is my favorite meal in Denver!
This place was amazing!!!!!!!! Nothing to complain about. Great food amazing staff, well priced. Will be going back!!!
Great to be back- been a long time since we’ve brunched at D-Bar.
Amazing menu and desserts. One of my favorites.
We went for our anniversary and they were so welcoming and great service. They even brought us champagne with our dessert to celebrate our anniversary.
Went for brunch, food was great and service was very friendly! The pastries from their bakery are to die for, we brought some home.
Always a great experience! I come here a lot and I have never been disappointed in the food or service.
Took a while but really nice
Just a fun place to have a meal with friends or family. Great food, amazing desserts!
It was a fantastic experience for my family. The food was delicious and the service was great! We got to sample multiple items because of the Denver Restaurant Week Menu. We will definitely be back.
Delicious meal with amazing desserts. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent service. You could tell they work as a team.
Great place in the heart of Uptown.
GET THE FUNFETTI CAKE THANK ME LATER
The food and service here are phenomenal. It's only a shame that we stumbled across D Bar on our last day in Denver. I highly recommend their Restaurant Week Dinner!
The is the best menu for restaurant week. And everything is of good quality.
