Our server Brett was fun, entertaining, honest and attentive. I will ask for him when I go in next. What a great time we had! Also the pizza salad sandwich was awesome and your espresso and ice cream dessert never disappoints!
Always good food.
Everything was excellent. Chicken waffle sandwich, meat and cheese platter, gourmet burger, deep chocolate cake, creme brûlée... all delicious.
Food was exceptional as always but service was certainly on the slow end and seemed to be a little confused/disorganized which was a huge bummer for myself as I love Dbar so dearly. It was comical yet concerning watching our server drink while on the job as we were placed by the bar area. Food was great to say the least though. In all my date and I had a great time but both thought service was lacking for the standard the has been set by the Dbar name.
A cute spot, although parking is challenging. We had a salad and beignets. It was good. Our server was very sweet and responsive. Make sure you don’t go when the Broncos are playing...screaming occurring while one is dining is not restful.
Birthday! Great service!!
It was a great experience!!! We were even running 30 min late because of some crazy accident that stopped traffic and they held our reservation. Our server made a little goof up but was so kind and gave us a couple free drinks!!! Would definitely recommend!!!
DBar is one of a kind! A blend of great food, casual elegance, unreal desserts and fantastic people
Interesting location. Waited 15 minutes to be seated, even with reservation. Server was very good and helpful. Very responsive to questions regarding menu (It was our first visit). Menu seemed a little limited, but I had no problem finding items that sounded good. The food itself was very good. Choices were reasonably healthy and tasty, portions were very mama-bearish ( not too little, not too much). Overall, we enjoyed our night out and meal. My criticisms are made to help identify specific areas of possible improvement; the eating experience was very good!
My daughter took me here for my birthday dessert! Wow! Was it good! We had the pre fixed dessert menu. Lots to eat and enjoy this way!
The food and service was outstanding, as always. The staff went out of their way to make my daughter feel special for her 5th birthday. We went for brunch, and I ordered the mole chicken & waffles. They were next level! So excellent.
Always consistent and delicious!
It’s was just a lot of fun—-desserts to die for! Excellent service
Absolutely loved D Bar Denver. Wish we had one in Dallas. Great ambiance, food was excellent, service was wonderful and the desserts were spectacular. Fun for all ages. A unique place for dinner or just late night dessert, drinks and coffee.
The menu is interesting and the meals and desserts were excellent. The location was easy to find and parking was not a problem. It took a long time to get our drinks, then our food, then our desserts. But most of all, this place is LOUD as hell. Not good for a date or just having a normal conversation if you’re not up to shouting all evening.
Not sure why they sat our party on hard bar stools for the length of our dinner, not comfortable at all. The service was nice, out of the 4 people who visited our table, 1 server smiled. Did they really serve us tap water? Most everyone enjoyed what they ordered but I thought my steak on fries was a bit boring and unseasoned. The noise level in the dining area is way too high, we had to yell at each other just to hear. Super unimpressed with the whole place and price.
I’ve been going to D Bar since the very beginning- week one when they were waiting for their liquor license. It used to be great. I’ve been disappointed the past few times I’ve been - mediocre food that wasn’t hot, very slow service, and at the end of it all - a big check. This time was no different. Our server took forever to come to our table. After being there an hour he was kind enough to own that he forgot to put in our order and would bring us some churros to snack on. It still took another 20 minutes for the free churros and another 30 minutes for our dinners which arrived moderately hot. No apology, no acknowledgement that it took nearly 2 hours to get food. Food was fine - nothing like it used to be. Dessert was good but not great. I long for the old days w Keagan in the small, cozy restaurant that had service and quality cuisine.
Somehow I think their desserts used to be better and now it’s just kind of overpriced. I would still go since I don’t know any other place to go for dessert in Denver area.
Maybe the best-tasting brunch we''ve ever had in Denver. Try a side of green chili on your eggs.
This restaurant is perfect for a date night! The food was great but you must save room for dessert!
we find the D Bar to be a bit problematic - of course, your food is delicious, great job on that part, and we're certain you're probably already aware of how good it is - but as we've been to the restaurant twice now, it's hard to accept the level of pretentiousness that your wait staff, servers, greeters, everyone, exhibits to your customers - it should be such a happy, friendly, welcoming little place - but it isn't - instead, it's a display of vanity by those that work there - and we just can't understand such great product surrounded with such unfriendly service
Food was amazing- the Brussels sprouts are seriously heaven sent. I wish the cookie you got with the pick 2 lunch was served warm. Server was hospitable and had a good sense of humor! Solid lunch spot for my coworkers and I.
D bar never disappoints. My favorite for special occasions or an afternoon of indulgence. The chocolate cake is especially wonderful!
D Bar remains a favorite stop for us in Denver. Particularly so for our daughter who always wants to go there for any occasion (in this case her birthday). The entrees were solid and the desert was great. I would suggest that they re-evaluate their new practice of tagging extra charges on the bill for "Kitchen Living Wage". While the surprise extra fees were small, I find the practice annoying. By all means pay your staff a living wage, and raise your prices if needed to do so.
We sat outside and we enjoyed the location, people and food. Our server was friendly and helped us with our choices. The food choices were enough for the four of us to each order something we liked. The desserts were great! Will be back.
Great place as always! Sat at the bar, very nice and helpful staff. Food was excellent. Neighborhood favorite!
Everything we tried on the menu was fantastic. The three dessert sampler is a fun experience worth having
Ithhought slightly over priced. I was not crazy about the menu but that is probably an individual preference rather than a dig on the food
Made for a lovely date night. Arrived early 25 min to my reservation, pleasantly surprised by practically no wait. Staff is warm and friendly. Best sweet potato fries in all the land. The ch ch churro with vanilla ice cream stole my heart- so delicious! And to top it off, enjoyed local wine.
Food was overpriced. The waitress was forgetful.
As always, great food, great environment. Again brought my visiting family.
Manager could use some serious customer service training (a neighboring table validated the shocking treatment). Food was not as described on the menu. Over priced. Long wait time for delivery of food and drinks including a cold dessert that didn’t need any prep time.
I heard great things but ended up being disappointed. Brunch took two hours which is a long time for 3 people. Most items on the menu were not available.
The reservation process on OpenTable was very easy and I like that I had the option to choose indoor or outdoor seating. The check in process was fine, but the hostess overlooked the "outdoor seating" part and had an attitude when we said we wanted to be outside and pointed out that it's on the reservation. She was visibly complaining about us and we were sitting right there. Our waiter, Brett, was absolutely amazing! He was very attentive, had great recommendations and made our overall experience very pleasant. I hope to have him as our waiter again!
The wait staff was rude and slow (20 minutes) to provide basic items like water and appetizer plates. My order was wrong and upon questioning the waiter about my food, his snarky response was “I don’t know, I didn’t cook it!”
Not the way we had hoped to celebrate the evening. Based on the quality of food and service we opted not to stay for desert.
Very neat place! Great for a date... food is delicious (southern fried Belgian sandwich) Fried Brussels and cocktails were amazing also!
We were sat next to a table of 6 who were all intoxicated. When they talked, they were screaming. I got to listen to a man scream about his abusive childhood and it was all good now because he is driving a car that few can afford. I really wanted to move, but we never saw our waiter. He was the waiter for the table next to us too. But he was outside most of the night. When the order arrived (and it was missing items - as was the tables next to us I hear them scream), it was delivered by different people. I couldn't have a conversation at all. The people across the restaurant screamed "we call all hear you, please shut up". The people next to me just didn't get it at all. With how many people in the restaurant they were making miserable, you think someone would have said something. I had really come for dessert. I had heard they had a souffle and wanted to try it. It wasn't good enough to come back. I know the open restaurants are a 'thing' now. Even if the party wasn't sitting next to me, I don't know if I would have heard anything. It is so loud in there. It would be a better bar, not a restaurant. Great place if you don't want to converse with the person who is with you.
D Bar was phenomenal from beginning to end. Great job!
One of our favorite restaurants in Denver. Can sometimes get a little noisy but food makes up for it!
And save room for dessert. They are all fabulous! Make a reservation to assure a seat.
Fun little spot with great food. A little loud, but fun atmosphere
