Excellent menu variety, presentation and quality. Best show in Highlands.
As always the dim sum was delicious! The service was good considering the waitress had five or six tables. We were bummed the patio wasn’t open.
This is our favorite restaurant in Highlands and it absolutely NEVER disappoints!
Good service and great food. We enjoyed a strawberry cosmo before dinner. I ordered the carmelized pork shoulder which was out of the world delicious. My tablemate ordered the perefectly prepared skirt steak, charred on the outside , medium on the inside. It was tender and very tasty. The mashed potatoes underneath it was so yummy. We will be back the next time we come to Highlands.
Outstanding quality in food, atmosphere, and service.
Cyprus has always been one of my favorite places in the world to have a meal. I hadn't been to the new location in downtown Highlands until this trip, but the move was well worth it. Felt much the same, but the bar is much expanded on offerings now. The creativity with the food is still second to none and both my wife and I had extraordinary meals. Like most places in Highlands, you are going to pay 100 dollars for a dinner for two, but its well worth it. I always tell everyone heading to town that they have to make this one of their stops.
Food was ok but too much sauce on top of the meat. Interesting and very good salad though. Very cold inside and had to wear my coat. Drinks were weak and pricey.
Martini was an excellent server and we had an amazing dinner. Look forward to returning soon!
Food was unique and delicious! The server was friendly and efficient. Our favorite place the eat in the Highlands.
The food was very good! Service was also great. Please consider offering small salads and soups.
Food and service was very good. Only complaint was our table and location. More of a bistro table than dining table. Could not fit plates, glasses etc. on table. Even waitress had trouble serving on such a small table. I noticed our table was the only one like it in dining room. It was our anniversary night and it really put a damper on it. Will be back, but will insist we do not get that table.
Food was excellent and in such a small community, truly a big fish in a small pond.
This was my second trip to Cyprus. Both times we sat at the bar and watched the action in the kitchen. It and the food were great. A bit expensive, but can't wait to go back.
Food was awesome. Service is OK. Bartender to awhile to get to us. Server never checked back soon enough. Good but not great. Food was great though.
Everything was good. We had a reservation but were offered one of the worst tables in the restaurant. It was fairly slow so I don’t understand why we were seated near the kitchen instead near a window away from the bustle and noise of the kitchen.
Fabulous! Need I really say more? From Chef Walter’s creative culinary skills down to great servers such as Martini this is hands down a dining experience to not be missed.
Another wonderful evening at Cyprus. Went for Valentines Day and our wedding anniversary and had a great time. The staff was very attentive to our needs but never hurried us or intruded in our conversation. And the food, fantastic! Always a pleasure going there.
Very good food and service. We sat bar side in the kitchen and much enjoyed interacting with the kitchen staff. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great eclectic menu!
We very much enjoyed a birthday celebration with friends. The service was outstanding by Maxine and the food was terrific. February of the past few years Cyprus offer a 50 percent discount on steaks and chops. I urge other to take advantage of the offer but suggest Cyprus anytime.
Great food! Each of us was pleased with our choices. Maxine was a super waitress!
Food above average. Service! Our waiter, She took our order, someone served our meal. We never was check on till the end of the meal. I had to go find someone! Again Very good food.
Loved sitting at the bar by the kitchen and watching the chefs. Great staff even better food!
We love the half price winter steaks and lamb chops. We plan to return soon. Great place to meet with friends.
Good was wonderful, service was excellent. Ordered the Burmese jungle curry pork, it was amazing. My wife ordered the pit goat, also a amazing. My habenero margarita was good but way too spicy for my taste. Will definitely be back.
This is a great restaurant for special occasions. A little on the pricy side so be aware of that. Great food and great service. I have a garlic sensitivity and the staff was quite accommodating in watching out for me. I highly recommend this place
Cyprus turned out to be a pleasant surprise, with a diverse menu ranging from Marrocan to Asian and some American classics. Great atmosphere, some groups (birthday party), a lively open kitchen with the option to sit at the bar and watch. Service was great.
Very accommodating to vegetarians.
Excellent food, cool atmosphere, wide menu variety
We ordered the stuffed chicken, and when we cut it open it was completely raw. Sent it back, and when it came out the second time it was STILL raw. We were surprised no one even thought to check it.
Service was sub-par. After two incidents, we thought the manager would at least come by our table, but he didn't.
It was also ridiculously loud, although that could have been because we sat at the high top table next to the open kitchen. Would not recommend.
As always great imaginative menu executed brilliantly.
This was our first real meal at Cypress and we had six friends together for my birthday celebration. The menu was very diverse, interesting and easily satisfied all of our various palettes. We look forward to visiting Cypress again as soon as we get back to Highlands.
Delicious food from a diverse menu. Very flavorful. Service was congenial and good, but slow.
We went to Cyprus on anew Year’s Eve and we had a great time. Service was terrific, food was delicious. Next time we’re in a Highlands, we’ll definitely go back
This was our second year to visit Cyprus and our only repeat of restaurants for our holiday trip. It did not disappoint! The menu is very eclectic and there is something for everyone! The goat dish was delicious and the attention to detail on plating all dishes was exceptional!
Wonderful place. This is our fourth or fifth visit. Never fails to please.
Set amidst the center of the downtown strip of Highlands, Cyprus boasts the prime location from its stoic vantage point on the second floor.
Offering an array of zesty plates from several countries around the globe, the menu will not leave you short of options.
Similarly, the menu diversity the Restaurant showcases is translated in the interior decor, mood and ambiance of the entire space.
Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping in next time your travels bring you in town.
We came up to highlands for Xmas week. Been to several of the restaurants here and nothing compares to the food here. If I were Michelin I would give this restaurant 1 star and that is a top honor since the best restaurants in the world can only get 3. The food is highly creative and full of fresh farm to table flavor. No heavy anything such as creams and over bearing sauces. The grouper was the baseline fish today and was prepared either French or Asian style and both preparations were to die for. The deserts were highly creative with lavender, raspberries, hand made wasabi lime ice cream and fresh baked goods. The kitchen action is exciting and open for all to see. The dining room is a bit understated and very casual BUT the food is top notch. Hands down the best dinner meal I have had all year and I have dined at Per Se, which is a 3 star Michelin in NYC and the meal here was right up there .
I HAD HEARD THIS RESTAURANT WAS GOOD HOWEVER; IT WAS FANTASTIC. FOOD FROM ALL OVER COOKED WITH PASSION! I TRIED SOME THAI DISHES PORK WITH 6 DIFFERENT SPICES IT WAS DELICIOUS. IT'S NICE WHEN THE CHEF COMES OVER TO INTRODUCE HIMSELF AND SHARES HIS JOY IN SERVING EXCELLENT AND AUTHENTIC CUISINE FROM ALL OVER! YOU CAN SIT AT THE BAR AND WATCH THEM COOK WHICH WE WILL DO THE NEXT TIME WE VISIT CYPRUS! A MUST GO TO WHEN IN THE HIGHLANDS.
The goat poblano was lovely. The ragu was very fatty and such a teeny portion for $30+.
Overall a bill of $100 for small portions and barely average food. It was the week before Christmas and many other places closed... and we were hungry and from out of town. Therefore, grateful they were open and the manager/owner was very friendly. But next time we’ll pop for a pizza and beer instead... we were disappointed.
