   Very casual place for dinner. Upstairs, comfortable, warm and friendly. This was our 30th anniversary, so we came to our favorite hidden mountain town of Highlands, NC. We would highly recommend Cyprus as a go-to, relaxed and inviting spot. If you are foodies like us, you’ll appreciate their thoughtful menu of various dishes from all around the globe. That was a big draw for us. We had many options. All tasty! We loved it so much, in fact, we are going again tonight - 2 of our 4 nights for dinner in Highlands will be at Cyprus. Just GO!!! You will be so glad you did.

   Very attentive staff. Great cocktail. Food was very fresh and savory. We had the pad Thai and the 5 spice chicken. Excellent.

   The server did a wonderful job and knew her menu well! Location is very nice, we sat by a window overlooking Main St. The food was ok. I had a French fish and my husband had an American steak. Neither of the entrees were flavored well. Our appetizer, their version of fried pickles, was the best dish we had for the night.

   The hostess sat us next to a table of 4 who were all completely wasted! We attempted to push thru since we had already ordered our meals even as two other adjacent parties left because of the noise and profanity. The management did nothing to address the situation and never asked them to leave or quiet down. I was forced to call for the check early as the vulgar comments increased. I would have expected to at least have a portion of our meals or drinks discounted since it completely ruined our evening;however, once again the management did nothing. As a small business owner I was stunned at the lack of leadership and the poor decision of continuing to serve drinks to a group who had obviously had too much to alcohol. I won’t be returning.

   Service was awful. Ambiance was really great. Food dishes were creative, but lacked actual flavors and spices from the countries they represented. Not worth the price.

   The only thing I can complain about is that we ordered a salad, but we weren't told that the rack of lamb came with a salad. So, could have saved a bit since the rack of lamb was $38.

   Delicious food, wonderful wine pairings and great service! I recommend the skirt steak and chicken green curry (it’s very spicy, but delicious!) Great for large group! My friend left her credit card and the restaurant promptly called me to notify me. Honest employees!!

   We decided to sit at two seats which overlooked the kitchen. We really enjoyed the experience. We spoke a good bit with the chef and really enjoyed the experience. Definitely we will be back soon.

    Great dinner. Was seated next to speakers so music was rather loud. Overall it was wonderful
