Amazing food! Thursday’s smoked prime rib is my favorite! Food came fast. Service impeccable. Ambiance is Texas at its best.
It was a busy night in the restaurant, but Courtney took great care of us. Food was it's usual perfection and my husband's birthday dinner was excellent.
I have been to this restaurant several times, but this was the first time I tried their steak. I chose Steak Diane, and it was a huge disappointment. First, they sliced this steak about 1/4" thick. It's almost impossible to grill a medium rare steak when it's this thin. Sure enough, it was overcooked and tough. Then, they drowned it in a delicious sauce. On the side was a delicious twice baked potato that was about the size of a golf ball.
Wine was magnificent. Food was great. Our server, Kelly, was magnificent.
Best meal we've had in Hill Country yet. Strongly recommend!
A lovely place to dine. Being able to make a reservation was a plus. The food was delicious and the service was great.
This was our 4th or 5th time & the food never disappoints. The scallops were delicious and my husbands Texas Cobb was fresh & healthy, perfect for the new year. Wine list is very appropriate with plenty of choices.
Food was great . It was our 50th Anniversary and they dressed up our dessert plate with an "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate.
I made a reservation for 5:30 pm on Friday for two people. When we walked in it was QUIET' only 3 other people there/. I realize that that is early, but not really for Boerne. Service was good. Hostess was great, friendly. We ordered a 14oz ribeye steak to split along with the stuffed baked potato with chives and cheddar cheese. Service was fast, but now we know why. The steak was "maybe" 1/2 thick and so full of gristle and fat. The potato was gooey, cold and really tasted like it had been reheated, Spent right at $50.00 for a split meal which wasn't bad, but the food was terrible!. Won't go back again. I had been to the same establishment before and it was great! Don't know what happened but this kind of food will kill them. Would not recommend.
We are never disappointed with Cypress Grille, food is always delicious.
Great food and service. The pork shank and tortellini was outstanding.
Our last minute New Year's Eve reservation was handled without any glitches. The atmosphere was very enjoyable, not too loud, not too busy. My husband enjoyed the Ribeye Steak and I had the Grilled Scottish Salmon. The steak was perfectly grilled and seasoned and the salmon was probably the best I've ever had. They have a tremendous wine selection. Our waiter was so friendly and quick to take care of all our requests, I wish I had gotten his name. We will happily visit the establishment again on our next visit to the area.
Went there on New Years Eve and our table was ready when we arrived. A very stress free evening with great food.
Food as always was great. Server was not friendly at all and seemed bothered to do her job. I understand it is New Year’s Eve but when we paid over 200 for a dinner for 4 I expect someone nice. Felt rushed the whole time so they could turn the table. Sever never introduced herself and we had to ask if we could get our kids drinks. Never spent more than 5 seconds at the table even when we tried to engage her. If you charge high end prices should train staff to provide higher end service.
Always a wonderful experience
Delicious as always!
The food and the service was great! We had a great experience. Be sure to order the lamb chops!
Cypress Grille keeps its reputation for fine food and good service with us. Each item ordered by my wife and I was prepared with excellence, and our waitress was prompt and attentive. We always enjoy our culinary experience at this restaurant. That's why we're willing to drive more than 30 minutes to get here.
We had a great family meal at The Cypress Grill. Service was awesome and all enjoyed their meal. The restaurant did a great job of social distancing and taking the necessary precautions to help keep us all safe.
Service was ok. Had to keep asking for water & waitress was rarely around
Food was excellent and service was friendly and thorough
Food is always fantastic! Wine list is extensive! Ask for Sue as your server! She is amazing and now is an expert at opening a bottle of Machete. Great restaurant! We love it....
Very delightful restaurant, the ambience and decor is small town Texas . We arrived on time for our reservation, seated promptly and we ate and quick service. I had the 7 oz medallion with Mac and cheese and mushrooms with herbs . The medallion with Gorgonzola topping was delicious and the mushrooms were the best I have ever had . The Mac and cheese was lacking salt and unfortunately not provided on table . My son had the creamy garlic seafood pasta , he said the sauce was delicious and mussels were tender . His portion was small and he would have liked a baguette or a bread to scoop up the yummy sauce . As an appetizer we had the calamari and shrimp misto and crab cakes . The crab cakes are tasty , but you only get 2 very small portions . I would definitely come again , when in the area .
The rating is a combination of Cypress Grill AND Open Table. There were several groups standing outside the restaurant who had made reservation through Open Table. Trouble is/was, they were closed. So there is an obvious disconnect between the two.
We have been there before and it is worth going back...with a direct call to them for reservations.
Even though our reservation went through fine, the restaurant was closed... such a disappointment! Don't believe your reservation!! Be sure to call!
Came here for mine and my wife's 3 year anniversary. Hostess was very accommodating to requests and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.
Delicious fresh, soft bread to start. Salad with shrimp was good, grapefruit extremely bitter. Wish there were local wine choices on the menu since the area is surrounded by vineyards.
We ended up eating at Cypress Grill at the last minute because another restaurant cancelled our reservation due to COVID concerns. We had a fantastic meal. The meals we had were unique and great tasting. The service was top notch as well. We were a little disappointed with the creme brulee we had for dessert, but maybe we were just comparing that to the rest of the meal. Great value for your money.
Great meal. Wonderful ambiance .
Attentive waiter. 5 stars’
Food is always great. Never had a bad meal.
We haven’t eaten at the Cypress Grill in quite a while. If you want since then they’ve expanded, which offers A quieter experience with plenty of room.
The food which really very good, and we will return often.
Sat us in booth that made easy conversation

The food was wonderful as usual. Our server, Charlotte, is amazing!
Excellent food, great wine recommendation. All around a great dinner experience.
Food was excellent and they have a really good wine list.
I love this restaurant! The food and service is always great.
The food is delish. The service is good and the ambiance is nice. I had the pork shank w ravioli and it was excellent.
Food was awful. Bland and poor quality. Don’t expect to get your moneys worth. Server did nothing to make things right
My husband and I were very happy with our choice to dine here for our anniversary
We love Cypress Grille and come every time we are in Boerne. This visit was disappointing, the salmon special would have been great if the salmon had not been way overcooked and very dry. Luckily, the pasta served with it was really good. Bread is fantastic and service was as well.
