It was my first time at this restaurant even though I have lived in Houston most of my life. I enjoyed it. I loved that they could make a mango margarita and the food was really good. Our server was just ok. I wish she was more attentive.
unfortunately, I was unimpressed. The waiter did his part, with the tools he was given. I have no complaints about him.
My disappointment was with the food, not sure what exactly to say, except nothing extraordinary for the price. The big disappointment was one of the leading beers sold, was SOLD OUT.
It was just okay. Probably won't visit again.
Food was not good at all.
Overall experience was o.k.
Great food. Ambience and service
I frequently dine at this lovely restaurant. Everything on the menu is great especially the drinks! Will definitely be back, and will definitely refer family and friends.
I had not visited a Cyclone Anaya's in over 15 years and it was just has amazing as I remember. Get the lobster enchiladas. You will not be disappointed. Amazing in every way.
Service was prompt and they were great with our special accommodations. Food was excellent and we had a great family meal together!
The overall visit was nice, thou I was really impressed with the staff and waitress that was attentive to our wants... much-repeated water and drink refills, extra food for latecomers and many pictures.... Thank y'all for y'alls patients with these older ladies.
Cyclone Anaya's is one of my favorite places to dine at, but the waitress we had serving us was horrible. We were seated for atleast 20 minutes before she came to our table, then we she finally came over,it took another 30 minutes for her to bring our drinks.
Great outdoor seating, delicious food and drinks
The environment is fun and lively. Our waiter was not that great. We found a screw in one of our water glasses- & he acted so nonchalant. It would have been nice of him to offer the guest a free drink or dessert. He didn't even refill the glass when/after we brought it to his attention. In fact, he did not check on us often enough to refill our glasses the entire time we were there. The food was good, but feel like our experience was more about the environment/ambiance.
What a waste of time and money. Parking is a pain. Service was excruciatingly slow. Salmon was sickeningly sweet. Key lime pie had absolutely no lime flavor to it at all. There are too many really good Mexican restaurants in Houston for me to ever waste another evening here.
Our waiter Nino was amazing. The food was great but the Charo beans could be improved. Thank you Nino for great service on our date night.
Great food. Very loud. Service was overbearing.
Had a bad experience with the staff and the service that was rendered was unacceptable
Beautiful facility and fast friendly staff. Food was okay
We had a wonderful lunch. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken soup.
Great place and food. We had an awesome time and good service!
Food was ok not worth the $$
Pleasant, good food & ambience!
Our Waiter was amazing!!!! thank you for the service we will come back
I specifically noted on my reservation that my date would need a Gluten Free Menu, and when we showed up, they did NOT question us, or my date, made us feel completely normal. I noticed that there were two separate menus together waiting away from the others, and the hostess grabbed those and led us to our table. My date sat first and the hostess placed the GF menu in front of her, and I sat as well and got the regular menu, and we thanked the hostess and she left. I could tell that my date felt extremely special for not feeling called out or anything like that but simply being treated as a normal person with nothing wrong with her.. it was a small gesture, but very sweet indeed.
The restaurant sat us away from the crowd and went above and beyond for us that night.. I have to say.. I will never for get this place, or that night..
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Love this place! Thank you so very much!
The food speaks for itself. I don’t need to comment on that.. read the other comments.. it’s 5🌟 in my opinion.
We reserved a table for 16 + 4 high chairs for a large group and the day of the dinner some of our party cancelled so I called the restaurant and informed them we only needed a table for 12 chairs + 3 high chairs. When we arrived, the table was ready but there were only 12 chairs and no room at all to add high chairs. It was a very tight squeeze which made the seating uncomfortable. Also the noise level of the restaurant is very loud so conversations were limited to those closest to you. Food and service were very good though! Not sure if I would go there again for a group larger than 6 because of the noise level. I would also make it very clear that highchairs take up the same space as a chair.
Service was great, food was tasty and we had everything we needed without having to ask
I am a cyclone Anaya’s fan, howeever service was very slow and the food was mediocre. Some said their food wasn’t hot. I was disappointed in the experience.
It was good, nothing outstanding to write about or complain.
Excellent service and the food was amazing!
The lump crab nachos are usually awesome. This time they were a little soggy but still tasted good. The server didn't come around much and we waited.for a while for drinks and to order. The restaurant was not busy.
We had a group of 10 and they did a great job of managing a large group. Suggested best shareable appetizers. Easily divided our check. We had a great table in a tucked back location which kept our noisy bunch from bothering others.
Always enjoy myself when I go here. Had the chicken fajita salad which was a little lighter on chicken than normal but was fine for me cause I had too many chips and queso beforehand.
Enchiladas Anayas needs help big time. Good thing I took business colleagues from Holland and India who don't have any expectations of good Mexican food. Take them to Gringo's or Escalante's. Bright spot was the salsa.
I booked for 4 people; 2 couples. Each couple arrived around 7pm and asked after my reservation. We were seated at different tables. Since we hadn’t met each other before, It took 25 mins before we actually sat at the same table. This was very frustrating.
After we got that sorted we had a very nice evening. Food was good.
I would go back again.
Just a lovely experience all around.
Great food and attentive service.
Poor service. Chips and salsa didn’t arrive until after our food had arrived. Water glasses were little dirty. Paying the bill took about 10 minutes
We had little trouble paying the check, because the waitress had a different logic than us to divide the bill in four equal quantities and she did not explain to us clearly, how they divided the bill.We wait for too long to solve the misunderstanding, however the Manager was very polite and did not hesitate to dive the check again as we suggested..
We had a lovely lunch with great service on the patio.
Food was bland Nd super salty but he patio and bar seem nice for the abience
I found the food to be bland and a bit overpriced for brunch. The service was fine, and the drink specials were good.
Had taco salad with chicken, not so great. Chicken flavorless....
