Cuvee is one of my favorite French restaurants and we're quite lucky to have it in out little town of 2,000. definitely a perfect spot, after all the wine tasting, to land and enjoy the incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked food at this establishment.

This small place is superior to any place in the area and, in addition to well prepared down to earth French food, has great prices and a very reasonable wine list. The owner and small staff were wonderful.

We plan on coming back with friends when we want good food, service in a pleasant environment. It will be "special" when we come again. Not the usual diner out for sure.

A hidden gem in the heart of Oregon wine country. The food is to die for - we had the $30 prix fixé menu and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We didn’t know what to expect and were lucky to get a reservation. The restaurant was full of local people from nearby wineries and other close areas. We had salad and soup and then beef bourguignonne. A. Were wonderful. And then Creme Brulee flavored with cardamon and other spices. The total bill was $72 for 2 including tip. We will return. The decor was just like a french bistro hence the name.

Although a destination for those who live in Portland, it is easy enough to make a day of it in Carlton with all its tasting rooms or in the nearby vineyards. End with a dinner at Cuvee. Really well priced, delicious prix fixe.

We celebrated our friend's birthday at Cuvee over the weekend. The servers were wonderful, attentive, funny, and kind. We may have been a little loud for the others in the restaurant as most of the other tables were intimate two tops. Great place for a date night or special occasion. Unfortunately, there were three of us that had an upset stomach later that night after our meal. If not for that, I would have awarded Cuvee a 5 star.

We enjoy the wait staff as well as the food. We know we can get a great meal at a reasonable price along with a stellar wine selection. Their soups and salads are creative and any vegetable coming out of the kitchen is impeccable prepared. Entrees are well cooked but I must admit to loving their desserts best.

We have stopped here: after wine tasting in the area, after showing out-of-towners our part of Oregon, have brought a large family group, and have come for a quiet dinner for two. And we are never dissapointed and always delighted with the menu choices, the artful and delicious meals, the helpful friendly service, the recommended wine pairing, and the way we're made to feel personally welcome and cared for.

We were celebrating my Mom’s Birthday. Saw reviews of Cuvee wanted to try. Came in with a reservation for 5:45 pm. Received menus. Quite a few items on the menu were not available. Asked for two different bottles of wine for our group and instead of saying they did not have them, waiter stuck nose in air and shook his head no. Food was just ok.

Sorry to say, overall conclusion from my group, a must miss!!

We loved EVERYTHING! Delicious food, a few, but extremely excellent selections, professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a small but wonderful wine list, creative appetizers and desserts and very well proportioned and prepared entrees. A fantastic surprise and lucky find in little ole Carlton, worth the short drive from the bigger city of McMinnville, or Dundee, Dayton, and Newberg...or, for that matter, even Portland :) Highly recommended!

Service was slow all-around (slow to take our drink & food order; slow to take our dessert order; slow to get check).
Seats were uncomfortable.

Our dinner at Cuvee was outstanding. We had the pleasure of Henri, the owner and chef, as our server who recommended the perfect combination of menu items for our group of six. Every dish was delicious and memorable. This is a gem in the wine valley!

Incredible French food and more. Lovely! OMG the fried oysters in butter, the pâté', entrees - all beyond excellent. Our best dinner and service in all 4 days in wine country and the least expensive.

The food was good, but I was expecting something more. For the price of the prix fixe menu ($30), it's a good value. The service was decent. It's a small restaurant, so when a large, energetic group came in, the noise level went up considerably, and we left.

Cuvée is a true gem. It is my must do whenever I am in the Willamette Valley. The food and the ambience are fabulous making me feel as if I am in a bistro in Providence.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for refined food not to mention the great prix fix menu price.

There aren't many restaurants in the wine country but I'd heard great things about Cuvée. It was excellent! My husband swears it's the best meal he's had in a long time. The entres were absolutely full of flavor and portion sizes perfect. We four chose differently and all were pleased with each selection. I chose the cheesecake for dessert which our waiter recommended and it was outstanding. Service was attentive but not hovering. The evening was affordable and paced well.

We were immensely impressed, especially at the end of the meal our server announced that he was the chef and the owner. If hadnt said something like our compliment to chef did he made the comment that he was the chef and did so very unassuming.
