My wife and I have been there four times now, by far the best food and service in Yamhill County. Highly recommend Cuvee.
This charming classy restaurant is offering the best French food ever.
Amazing French food and atmosphere along with a great team of server/chef/owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.
This is a hidden gem in the town of Carlton. Don’t miss a chance to enjoy the great food and the special treatment you receive from the moment you walk in the door.
This is my favorite restaurant in the Portland area. Every detail is special, the food, the wine, the ambiance and the wonderful owner.
How was my first dining experience at Cuvée
I can’t wait to come back!
Great resturaunt in a nice little town. The food was great and priced very well.
Service was great as well.
Everything was wonderful from the wine to the dessert. Always a favorite, especially for special occasions!
It’s a very special place for many of our special occasions.
We enjoy everything about dining at Cuvee
Our favorite local restaurant. Great value and terrific food. Prix Fix dinner for $35. that includes choice of appetizer or dessert, soup or salad, and entree. I rarely leave there without a bit of leftover for lunch the next day. Everything made right there by owner/chef Gilbert, even the bread.
I have recommended to others and will continue to do so. The restaurant is a gem in the heart of Oregon wine country.
Cuvee is a local gem. Food is always great. Love their "french" fries. I had the best pork chop this time, prepared perfectly. Everyone in my group enjoyed their dinners.
Went to Cuvee after an afternoon of wine tasting with friends. Everything we ordered was prepared excellently. There were six of us, we all ordered different entrees, and we all loved what we ordered. Definitely recommend and will be back.
We love this place! Wonderful atmosphere and food in little ol' Carlton.
Very welcoming-enjoyed the treatment Dave gave us. My friends trout was amazing-my ribs weren’t bad either! Wine was delicious, nice intimate dining experience in a lovely small town setting.
I thought we were going to enjoy a high end French meal. The first give away was the foil wrapped butter slabs. Please, why can’t you just present whipped butter in a small dish? This feels so diner like. Okay, moving on salad and soup were average. My husbands steak was so bland he didn’t eat it. I had a vegetarian dish which was good. We followed up with the chocolate cake which was so spicy my mouth was burning. Overall, the meal was disappointing. Service was good and without asking they did comp my husbands meal and I do appreciate that. I just feel like they have to pick the experience they are trying to create. Some hits and some misses. If you want to go high end figure it out more spice in the entree and less in the dessert . Get the butter out of the foil.
Liked the 3 course meal option; very reasonable. Food presentation lovely & meal was good.
The mushroom appetizer was excellent and the salmon special was terrific
Food was ok a little to salty and way to much dressing on the salad for my taste.
Great location and service.
Great in every way! We each had a different appetizer entree and dessert, and all were perfect. We believe this is one of the best secrets in the area. Great Pinot Noir choices too.
Gilbert never disappoints. His food is phenomenal and a foodie’s delight. Definitely worth the drive.
Great service and unexpectedly good food!
Great food and a very affordable menu - lovely service. Will be making it a regular visit.
Second time there and it appears great food and customer service is what we got both times. Will definitely be going back.
Classic French bistro cuisine, expertly prepared. Lovely small restaurant with a very personable and helpful owner who visits each table. Take his recommendations - he’s always right!
Cuvée has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The level of preparation and flavors of the food is exceptional. The wine selection could be considered limited by some in the area but there is thoughtful selection which can be paired with any dish on the menu. Last night was maybe our sixth visit to the restaurant. Cuvée has never disappointed us. It is truly a local gem for everyday, date, special occasion, business meeting or friends together.
First visit everything was just great. Food and service was a excellent. Best restaurant meal since our last trip to France.
We have been there several times and they never disappoint. Good wine selection and their prix fixe menu is very good.
Lamb was excellent, as was the ribeye. Frits alone were worth the visit. Prix fix excellent value. Been here before and will be back.
Not bad but unimaginative and ordinary. Food was just okay, service was fine but not great. I wouldn’t say it was bad but we certainly would not go back.
Absolutely wonderful on all accounts!
Delightful small French bistro that is worth traveling out of your way for.
The owner/chef is so friendly, and his dishes are creative and delicious. This has got to be one of the best restaurants for fine dining in the whole state!
The restaurant was just the perfect size for a pleasant experience. The service was friendly, we could each other when talking, great wine selection, great food. At the end of the meal, the check didn’t make our jaws drop because of the cost being too high. Quality at a fair price!
I am spoiled by the French restaurant where I live. Cuvee was good but not over the top. The swordfish was excellent, steak frites just so, so. Ambiance was fun.
Delicious. So many options. We each had a glass of wine. Very well priced.
Wonderful food and attentive service. Having reservations is a must because it’s so popular!
This cute bistro is located in the town of Carlton, center of wine country. The four of us enjoyed our $35 prix fixe meals - such a great value! You can choose an appetizer and entree or entree and dessert. Soup or salad also is included. Two of us ordered appetizers and two ordered desserts and we shared them among the four of us. The escargots and steamed clams were perfectly prepared. The specials of the day were sturgeon and pork chops. Both were excellent. Wine, either by the glass or bottle, is reasonably priced and we enjoyed local winemaker Ken Wright's Pinot Noir. Dessert was done well - flourless chocolate cake and creme brûlée. The service was fine- two waiters serving the entire dining room. Just delicious, basic French food that's hard to come by. We looking forward to returning to Cuvee Restaurant the next time we're in the area.
The service was excellent as always. Escargot and clams were perfect. A wonderful green salad. Steak was prepared just as requested. Pomme de Terre were nice and crispy. The pork was a bit dry. The accompanying pasta was terrible. Some of the pasta was crunchy.
