Great spot with views of Elliott Bay. Located in the Pike Place Market area. Parking is the only problem.

We do have to say very strong drinks that were delicious. Food was pretty good, service was good but more casual than then ambience. There were lots of interesting things happening in the restaurant that night. Found it interesting that the white table clots were covered with paper , Made it feel a little cheap which did not match the price tag

The clam chowder was very disappointing. I dined there for lunch a few months ago and it was the best clam chowder. There were a lot of clams, the potatoes were cubed individually, and the taste was perfect. We went for dinner and it was obvious that the chowder sat in a heated pot all day since all the potatoes melted and were hardly any clams. It looked and tasted like paste -- very disappointing.

This restaurant did not meet our expectations. When we walked in the host was having a tizzy fit because I have a patron who change seats and he was inappropriate with his language. The food was really not good friends were over cooked red snapper was completely dry. Service was very very slow and inattentive. One of the low points of our trip.

The view of the Puget Sound was spectacular and a great way to spend the evening with a good friend. Thumbs down for the clam chowder. It tasted a day old and was luke warm. The crab combo was delicious as well as their kale salad.

Food was great, service was great, I had a wonderful experience except for the group of loud drunk women who were seated next to us. One of them disappeared for a half hour and her friends were loudly talking about how she was puking in the bathroom. This was a lunch reservation and these women were smashed and yelling and still ordering drinks.

Beautiful view. Food was okay, many other restaurants with better food at a cheaper price, however, with that said, the view and the location, next to the market, makes it a great place for out of towners.

Service was friendly but didn’t substitute or had to be asked twice for items requested. Crab legs were thin and over cooked, fried fish and chips were soggy, and everything had garlic in it, not just the items listed as such on the menu. For a waterfront restaurant experience with visiting relatives I’ll go to Ivar’s next time.

We wanted seafood and the waterfront and seeing as this place has both and has been around for many years, we decided to give it a go. I rated everything based on each individual criteria and it really was excellent. We did have to wait a LONG time for everything though. And we had a show to get to so we were a bit anxious. It was not completely packed so we were quite confused by how long things were taking but ultimately, the service we were given and the managers apology for the length of time the food and drinks took made up for it. The food itself was flawless so I guess could say worth the wait! We would definitely go back and almost did the next day!

Crab dip was INCREDIBLE!! King crab was great. Other things we ordered weren’t worth the cost (fish and chips, risotto that came with crab legs). Definitely not worth the cost but not leaving upset. Just wouldn’t go back.

Cutter's is a Seattle waterfront dining tradition. We often bring out of town guests here for the great view and the wonderful fresh seafood. The service is always professional and the food is well prepared.

Went expecting the Seattle Restaurants 3 course lunch special for $18. Had to ask the waiter for the special menu after being seated with regular menus and water for over 30 minutes. Surprised to learn the 3 course option was only a choice of 2 courses. The soup and fish poke were good as was the seafood salad. Had there been the option for 3 courses we would have tried a desert, but alas chose not to pay 6-8 dollars more for our 18 dollar lunch.

Cutter's has a prize location opposite one end of the Public Market (Pike Place Market) in Seattle. Views across Elliot Bay to the Olympic Mountains beyond, the ferry and ship traffic trundling by. Food is the draw. The quality of fish is high and the restaurant is honest about telling you what it does not have or does not recommend. Portions are typically excessive, but this is not an inexpensive restaurant. Choice is wide and deep in food and wine. We went early for dinner this time and avoided the crowd. There was one overworked waitress on duty. Ordering and food delivery were on the slow side.

The best place about this restaurant was the view, and the Lavender Cosmo (which was delicious). If you're looking for fresh seafood, don't come here for dinner (or it may taint your perception of Seattle cuisine).

My husband and I were quite disappointed in the menu options, and the food. We had the calamari misto starter, which was more like deep fried, heavily breaded vegetables with a few rings of previously frozen squid tossed in randomly. I had the 1lb. snow crab legs, which came with an ear of corn and about 5 micro-mini potatoes tossed on top. It was plated on a buttered dish seasoned with chili powder, paprika and salt. The crab legs were rubbery, and there wasn't much meat, but it wasn't as bad as my husband's salmon. The cedar plank grilled salmon, which sounded good, was about 1 3/4" slice of dry, but also medium rare fish. The saffron rice side dish was undercooked and the carrots were cold. I could have made us a better meal out of Costco produce. To top it off, our waiter was an interesting character that took 25minutes to bring out a glass of champagne. Considering how closely we were seated to the bar, that was odd. I still tipped him well, hoping he was having an off night?! The entire experience was quite disappointing. For a seafood restaurant with such a great location and a lovely view, they need to gut their random menu and focus on 5-10 signature seafood focused dishes.

We went here on a Friday night expecting it to be good. The restaurant was dead and there was very little atmosphere. This should have been a warning to have a starter and a drink and go elsewhere. We had Tuna Poke which was actually really good. We ordered a few other starters to share and they were lacking flavour. The calamari was rubbery.

I have a duo of fish for main and to say the fish was overcooked was an understatement. Had we received a table check I would have sent it back. As it was dead the whole staff decided to get their shutdown routine started early and it was really unprofessional. As im in the industry I understand this, but you need to leave all the loud jobs (especially emptying the ice etc) until the last customers are gone.

Getting the bill was a complete effort....
