Absolutely adored the evening here. They walked me thru the different cuts and selections, made polite conversation, and made sure I enjoyed the experience. The steak was cooked the way I asked, and the portions were of great size. The atmosphere was dim lighting and calming. The staff was amazing. Truly perfect in every way.

Very nice food and great friendly service. The only negative I have is that the steaks were cooked a little inconsistently, mine was more rare than medium, and vice versa for my husband. However the food was delicious

Steaks were excellent, except one in our party ordered medium-well and felt steak was over cooked. Food was slow, so it was too late to send it back. Those who ordered medium rare were very pleased.

We loved CUT. We were visiting LA from the UK. It was relaxed and the steak was amazing. The lady who served us was excellent and afterwards my 11 year old son was invited into the kitchen. A fantastic meal. Thank you.

An overall satisfying meal and experience. My friend and I dined at CUT last Wednesday night. The food and presentation were nice. My one suggestion with food is to add another grass-fed beef option but source it from the western U.S.

In terms of ambiance, it's a work-business vibe. The open ceilings made the space feel spacious.

The service was attentive. Aspects that were good: they accommodated our food allergies, spoke with us at length about the steak selection, food arrived promptly and well staggered, and the waiters refilled our water glasses frequently. There was one aspect that I wish had been different: We asked to move from a table that was shaking to another one. We were re-seated at a nice 4 top but it was in the sun's direct path for 30 mins. I suggest curtains or shades to accomodate patrons dining at the tables in the setting sun's path.

Wow Wow! Wagyu steak is the best ever. Service was great but not pretentious. Loved the sauces and add ons. The best dessert ever was the Baked Alaska, which was a Lemon Meringue version that we never had before. I don't love Lemon Meringue pie because I prefer Banana Cream, Coconut Cream, or Boston Cream Pies instead. But this version of the Baked Alaska was divine and capped a 5 Star experience. Service is outstanding and the team is approachable, sophisticated, and refined without being pretentious or over bearing. Cool hip and trendy vibe without the normal stuffiness. Kudos to the team at Cut! What an evening!

Surprisingly my steak wasn’t that tasty but I enjoyed hijacking my girlfriends fish dish. It was quite tasty. As always the service is top notch at Cut.

From the moment we stepped in the lobby every need was attended to and we were treated like royalty. Expensive, but worth the splurge. My husband and I brought our 10 and 16 year old, and CUT did a fabulous job accommodating their requests. Perfect for a special occasion.

CUT as always very tasty. Our only issue this time was that the waiter took a little too long to get our orders in and was slow at refilling sparkling water and champagne. His service did improve as the night progressed, though.

Steak, deserts and most sides were very good, service was very slow, served my wife fish with lots of bones and had to send it back, brussel sprouts were cold. They did comp the brussel sprouts (we didn't eat them anyways) and gave us free deserts. We are not complainers, especially my wife. Could have and should have been more accommodating and comped us the fish too. We were told fish was served tableside and deboned, that was not the case. We were ignored for about 30 minutes between drink order and ordering dinner. I think the restaurant was overwhelmed but that is not a good excuse to us. Not likely to come back.

We had a fabulous and leisurely meal, though we did not get seated for 30 minutes after our reservation time. That does not bother us, particularly if there is a professional way the staff deals with this, which they did (acknowledgement/apology, expression that our time is valuable, etc). We had not dined at Cut in quite some time, but the food is so well prepared and proportioned, we enjoyed the meal very much. Since Bouchon closed where we were regulars, and we are in search of another place we can frequent often, we sampled more dishes than we normally would eat in one meal to see if Cut would make it to the short list. The food was delicious and I'm happy to say that we would dine there again, particularly if we can find a sweet spot of a time where the wait would not be so long.

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top-notch. It was a very special occasion and CUT did not disappoint. My brother has terminal brain cancer and had mentioned CUT when we first started going to UCLA for treatment. That was several months ago and I did not forget. I made the reservations on a whim and I am so glad that I did. I will always have this memory and the food was just as good as he always said it was. Our server, I can't remember her name, was so kind and understanding. Such a memorable evening that I am terribly grateful for.

We came for Valentine's Day and since my girlfriend loves meat, I wanted to take her to a real-deal steakhouse. The Wagyu did not disappoint. The wait staff were very attentive and overall, we had an enjoyable evening with great food. The reservations process was a bit convoluted and seemingly more complicated than it had to be, though.

Service was good. Food was not good. I had a filet mignon cooked medium and it was super dry. I did the Valentine's dinner for 2 which was 175 per person. One drink a piece plus gratuity brought my dinner to 500 dollars for easily the worst dinner I've had at a steak house in all of LA
