I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and service by our primary waiter for such a high scale restaurant. We were ignored for large blocks of time before we had to physically waive down the waiter for service and appropriate attention. The delivery of the main course was slow and tortured. The wine list is WAY overpriced and not appropriate for the with offered. There is no justification for such a large markup on wine over and above market prices in the food service industry. I will not be returning.

Excellent - Steaks were done to perfection, pretzel bread was insanely good. Polenta was not gritty and not too cheesy. Service was pleasant and prompt... if you love meat, this is your place!!

My first time eating at the restaurant and I had a great experience! Beginning with the service- no complaints. The table at which we were originally seated was not right for us so we kindly asked to change tables and our server was quick to respond to our request. Great service throughout our dining experience. The food was very good (steak, sides, baked alaska). The restaurant is an open space so everyone is seated in the same room but there are plenty of tables that have a corner feel so just request to not be seated in the middle of the room, especially if you're a party of two. The environment is a casual/business casual feel, which was comfortable for us. Highly recommend!

This place is very, very good. I’m giving it a 5astar rating for the following reasons: 1) it was the best porterhouse I’ve had (and I’ve had quite a few); 2) the service is impeccable and the staff was very friendly; 3) the atmosphere, location, and decor are awesome, and more.

We sat next to the cast from Billions and A$AP Rocky.

For dinner, we had the Dungeness crab Louie (4/5) paired with Sancerre (4.5/5) and a French Chardonnay (5/5), the Onion focaccia (5/5) and the pretzel bread (3.5/5), the porterhouse for two (32oz) medium rare (4.5/5), the cream spinach (4.5/5), and the truffle fries (5/5). The house made mustards, steak sauce, and butters were very good too (5/5).

We took advantage of the corkage fee policy ($50) and brought a very serviceable Napa Cab with us, which the staff gladly aerated.

We skipped dessert but enjoyed the complimentary sweets.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in West L.A. It’s truly great.

Food was very good but not best ever. Service however was exceptional. About 1/3 way through our steaks our server noticed we didn’t care for such a char on the meet. Some folks like it but we prefer less. We didn’t hate it, but he insisted. He grabbed our steaks, brought back 2 more that were perfect. He was great all night beyond just the new steaks. We also dined at a table adjacent to Hugh Jackman which was cool too. Overall a bit pricey but Michelin worthy to be sure. Definitely recommend for a special night out with spouse/partner.
