Wow Wow! Wagyu steak is the best ever. Service was great but not pretentious. Loved the sauces and add ons. The best dessert ever was the Baked Alaska, which was a Lemon Meringue version that we never had before. I don't love Lemon Meringue pie because I prefer Banana Cream, Coconut Cream, or Boston Cream Pies instead. But this version of the Baked Alaska was divine and capped a 5 Star experience. Service is outstanding and the team is approachable, sophisticated, and refined without being pretentious or over bearing. Cool hip and trendy vibe without the normal stuffiness. Kudos to the team at Cut! What an evening!
Surprisingly my steak wasn’t that tasty but I enjoyed hijacking my girlfriends fish dish. It was quite tasty. As always the service is top notch at Cut.
From the moment we stepped in the lobby every need was attended to and we were treated like royalty. Expensive, but worth the splurge. My husband and I brought our 10 and 16 year old, and CUT did a fabulous job accommodating their requests. Perfect for a special occasion.

The best service I have ever had at any restaurant - hands down. Our waiter made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The food was amazing and a great atmosphere.
Steak, deserts and most sides were very good, service was very slow, served my wife fish with lots of bones and had to send it back, brussel sprouts were cold. They did comp the brussel sprouts (we didn't eat them anyways) and gave us free deserts. We are not complainers, especially my wife. Could have and should have been more accommodating and comped us the fish too. We were told fish was served tableside and deboned, that was not the case. We were ignored for about 30 minutes between drink order and ordering dinner. I think the restaurant was overwhelmed but that is not a good excuse to us. Not likely to come back.
The food was prepared and served exquisitely. The breads were some of the best we have ever eaten. The wine was top flight. The dessert was our least favorite part of dinner.
Prices very high but restaurant atmosphere was fantastic, table layouts fantastic, service fantastic. Steak should be served with a salad.
We had a fabulous and leisurely meal, though we did not get seated for 30 minutes after our reservation time. That does not bother us, particularly if there is a professional way the staff deals with this, which they did (acknowledgement/apology, expression that our time is valuable, etc). We had not dined at Cut in quite some time, but the food is so well prepared and proportioned, we enjoyed the meal very much. Since Bouchon closed where we were regulars, and we are in search of another place we can frequent often, we sampled more dishes than we normally would eat in one meal to see if Cut would make it to the short list. The food was delicious and I'm happy to say that we would dine there again, particularly if we can find a sweet spot of a time where the wait would not be so long.
The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top-notch. It was a very special occasion and CUT did not disappoint. My brother has terminal brain cancer and had mentioned CUT when we first started going to UCLA for treatment. That was several months ago and I did not forget. I made the reservations on a whim and I am so glad that I did. I will always have this memory and the food was just as good as he always said it was. Our server, I can't remember her name, was so kind and understanding. Such a memorable evening that I am terribly grateful for.
The last night of our holiday could not have been better - the best steak we have both ever eaten together with good wine and a nice atmosphere.
We will be sure to visit the London restaurant soon!
Great service, good food, not so good deserts.
We came for Valentine's Day and since my girlfriend loves meat, I wanted to take her to a real-deal steakhouse. The Wagyu did not disappoint. The wait staff were very attentive and overall, we had an enjoyable evening with great food. The reservations process was a bit convoluted and seemingly more complicated than it had to be, though.
Service was good. Food was not good. I had a filet mignon cooked medium and it was super dry. I did the Valentine's dinner for 2 which was 175 per person. One drink a piece plus gratuity brought my dinner to 500 dollars for easily the worst dinner I've had at a steak house in all of LA

Excellent service, nice dining room, BUT the medium rare steaks were medium at best and at a steak house that serves expensive meat this should not happen. Also a direct attempt to up sell their most expensive cuts

CUT is my sons favourite restaurant and it Issa his Birthday.
Service outstanding, salad amazing, steak a little over cooked and to be honest, 2 recent times eating there, found steak to be dry. Have had much more juicy steaks at other restaurants . Wouldn’t order steak again. Previous time ate there, they had added 18% tip and hadn’t told us so we added another 20plus % tip, until I happened to ask. Not sure if they did that again but they need to point out to their customers. 40% plus tip is not ethical.

Great experience and wonderful food.
My steak was over cooked and terribly dry. The ridiculous $9 garlic accompaniment added nothing. The salad was ordinary. Our server started out well then got lost. Never once were we asked, “how’s the food?” It’s hard to believe this place has gotten so popular. Simply nothing to recommend!!!

Overall experience was great, the food was delicious.
Just marked down one star because we waited at the lounge for over 45 mins and the hostess never came to get us. It was only when I checked with her twice that she attempted to get us seated. We had reservations and we checked in 10 mins past so I was not sure what the confusion was for.
Still our server was wonderful and the fool was delicious, definitely coming back!

Cut is the best steak restaurant in town ! I feel bad for people who eat at Maestro' or Wolfgang's because they just waste their money. Literally everything at Cut is amazing. Lotta celebrities and a lot of escorts/hookers there make for A+ people watching.
Cut and Providence are my two favorite restaurants in town.
