Great food, service, presentation and overall experience. The Waygu was life changing for steak! Mashed taters and Mac Cheese sides were fantastic.
From the start, our hostess was a SNOB. Made reservations a few weeks before and specifically noted that it was my husband’s 50th. So naturally you would put us at a table by the bathroom right?? When I nicely asked for another table, she was downright rude and after I wouldn’t take her answer, she said “I’ll have to ask my manager”. Manager came and promptly moved us. At this point, I need to clarify that the manager was friendly and accommodating the entire evening. Most of these issues aren’t his fault. My husband had bought a $55.00 2oz shot of whisky and paid cash. Server thought it was to be transferred on the bill, my husband pulled out the receipt proving it had been paid. When the time came around for my husband to order a 3rd whisky he had some questions about the whisky offered. Server, after a few questions admitted that he didn’t really know a lot about them. HOW???? I’ve worked in high end restaurants and if you don’t know, you ask the bartender. Ugh. Now for the worst part. We ordered a $235 tomohawk ribeye to be mid-rare. It came rare (even after a huge cutting presentation no one bothered to notice) and ICE COLD. We had to send it back. Again, manager was perfectly kind and accommodating. But the problem is, the night was ruined. This is an upper echelon eating experience. Not the finest of dining, but seriously, you have a couple ordering one of the most costly items you have and you were careless. Manager did give us a more than fair discount, but I would have rather had a lovely evening. We definitely will not come back or recommend to anyone. It just doesn’t make the Cut.
Everything on the menu is delicious. The food and service exceeds expectation. Definitely a great place for a celebration. The staff is attentive, super friendly and knowledgeable. Best steakhouse!
Always an amazing meal with the best service you are likely to find in any restaurant. Rebecca and Corey at the bar are friendly, knowledgeable good company. Richard was an awesome waiter. We will go back everytime we come back to Vegas!
Poor service for such an expensive meal. Couldnt even get our water glasses refilled.
Food was great. Service just ok. Should be better for those prices
The Japanese Wagyu ribeye was AMAZING!
Great meal from start to finish. Everything was wonderful. Service was exceptional. Great old fashions.
Not worth the money. Go to Joe's or Sinatra for less money.
Superb from beginning to end! Cheerfully greeted upon entering by host, very pleasant, personable and knowledgeable wait staff. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable but fit the ambiance. Table spacing was very tight, other than that it was fine dining at its best!
I’ve been to CUT eight times now. The food was fantastic. The service was just super awful. Literally waited 30 minutes to get a drink order.
Been to CUT twice, 1st time for an Anniversary. Food is all its cracked up to be.. Classic steak and great sides. Second time just cause it was so good the first time.. Second time may have been even better than i remembered. Salad was amazing, had the Bib lettuce with avocado and vinaigrette, Steak was cooked perfect Medium for me, and the fries were good. I will try a different side next time. It is expensive but great choice for that no so everyday treat....
Service and food were outstanding!
I would prefer to not be seated by the doorway and the lamps there are too bright. Music could be more relaxing as well.
We went to Cut to celebrate my wife’s birthday with high hopes and were disappointed. The service was great, as to be expected but unfortunately that is where the expectation ceased to impress. We both ordered from the American wagyu menu and she got the fillet and I got the rib eye. They were cooked perfectly but when we pay $90 for each steak we expect it to be one of the very best we’ve ever had and this was far from. We definitely came in hoping it was going to be as good as Carnevino which we experienced last dec. it was not even close.
Excellent experience, food, service top notch - would definitely recommend to anyone and will certainly be back next visit!!!!
Was recommended by family to try.... steak was like butter, melt in your mouth..... Mac n cheese just unbelievable good, great.... glad we got to try it....
Outstanding meal. They are very lacking on moderately priced wines. All but a handful of wines are > $200 and most are in the $300-$500 range.
Amazing food. Amazing service.
Awesome service and food! Presentation of everything was well thought out and service was formal but friendly. Would definitely go back again and again for their Banana Cream Pie dessert.
The waiters drop the water 2 times in our table, and seems something funny for them . The place it is expensive but not the best food .
Hands down the best steakhouse in Las Vegas!
Food was great. Service was bad. Waiter forgot to bring bred, we had to ask for it. Since bred was brought in way late in the dinner, appetizers plates has to be reserved. Waiter forgot to bring tea with dessert. We asked to cancel it since I already finished desert , waiter insisted that "tea is on him" but it newer arrived at all.
If you have money, eat here. If you don’t, get another job and save to eat here. A5, so worth it. As is the 50 day dry aged tomahawk ribeye. Splurge. You won’t regret it.
Went on Thanksgiving. They had their normal menu. We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous the service and food was. Was one highlight of of trip. Old fashioned was best ever and the sweet girl making them.
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MEAL WE HAVE EVER HAD...and the Service RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING
This Cut is not as fun as Beverly Hills location. Food not quite as good. Service spot on. Whistle Pig Cart is nice touch. But the whole experience is very expensive even by LV standards. Got to watch those COGs.
Very nice ambience and service food quality was good overall experience was great.
Experience was absolutely top notch. Chip and all the servers were exceptional. Even got a tour of the kitchen and met the head chef. Very comfortable dining chairs, best old fashioned in Vegas.
Will be going back on our next trip!
Been here many times, everything is first class! You will like you are the only person dining, the attention to detail and the personal touches are over the top. We celebrated my daughters graduation from college and the staff made her feel like she was the only person dining. We'll be back again in January for another celebration.
Celebrating our birthdays!
From the door greeters to wait staff and servers, our dining experience was beyond outstanding! Excellence all around!
Our only regret is there are NO Wolfgang Puck restaurants near our home...for we definitely would dine out more often!
Thanks for making our special day more special!
We went for a birthday celebratory dinner here and although the service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was rather like a sports bar and not like the classy vibe that I thought Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant would be. Food was good but overall not somewhere to go if you want to special occasion, more informal and somewhere to go with friends for casual meal.
Not worth the money at all, one of our dishes was overcooked.. how could you expect this at “the cut”
Ambiance is nothing special neither service. I regret going to this place
As good as it was pricey, celebrating our 30 anniversary, great steaks and family sides but overpriced, least expensive glass of cab was $25
Amazing service and food. Had king louie crab and shrimp cocktail, incredible. Porterhouse cooked to perfection and finished off with a out of bounds banana pie. Also, to note, bread was on par with the rest of the food and little dessert treats give at the end amazing.
Great place but very overpriced. Had a wagyu steak but couldn't tell difference from wifes 25 day aged to be honest. Without appetizers or desert bill was $300 with a couple of drinks.
Birthday girls night out
Best steak -- EVER! The Old Fashioned bar cart was utterly fantastic. Business dinner that received rave reviews from everyone.
Brian the waiter was condescending, rude and disrespectful. The food was amazing. Pork Belly was outstanding as was the king crab appetizer.
Service was exceptional, top notch. Food was ok nothing great considering location and price. Better steakhouses in vegas IMO.
We had a 8PM reservation for 4 that was booked a month in advanced. We showed up at 7:45 and were told our table wouldn’t be ready until our reservation time. By 8:15 we were still waiting (in 5 inch heels with no seat) and the staff constantly said they couldn’t do anything and they were limited in their seating due to the restaurant renovation. After speaking to the manager we finally got seated and he said he would “take care of us”, which ultimately never happened.
A little before 8:30 we were finally seated and ready to order drinks. They bring over their special old fashioned cart and proceed to tell us about the different aged bourbons. With drinks at $19 on their drink menu, I figured I’d ask about the age differences. $35 for no age, +$50 something for 12 year bourbon and I believe $80 something for the 15 year (I may be slightly off in my memory of the last price). This is FOR ONE DRINK. Our income is over $1M a year but it is absolutely ridiculous for a no name (albeit craft) bourbon mixed drink doused with sugar syrup to be at that price point. From a principals perspective, it is just ridiculous CUT offers this with a straight face. Good luck with the sticker shock if you don’t ask and assume it’s the same price as all their other drinks.
1 round of drinks, 3 normal steaks (not Kobe), 3 sides + lukewarm creamed spinach, 2 glasses of wine and an oddly fishy topping of bone marrow later, we left with a ~$700 bill and mediocre food in our stomachs. If you like dry aged steak (and we love steak) I would recommend seriously considering other Vegas restaurants like STK, BLT Steak; or Del Friscos or Delmonicos or Striphouse. The food at CUT sadly has declined, service is not great (please honor the point of a reservation. If I wanted to eat at 8:30 I would have made a 8:30 reservation. Please also do not say you’ll take care of us and do nothing.), and I frankly think they are nuts for selling a $80 glass of sugary, not single malt beverage.
