CUT at The Palazzo Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
What an experience! Outstanding ambiance, incredible service, and the most amazing food ever! It was my birthday and the staff bent over backwards to make me feel so special. It was truly an amazing night. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or non occasion. Just go!
Incredible food and service! We celebrated an anniversary here with lamb chops and short ribs for dinner. The restaurant then surprised us with an amazing chocolate and peanut butter torte for an anniversary dessert. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend this restaurant!
My husband and I chose CUT to celebrate our 9th anniversary and both of us said it was one of our best dining experiences in Vegas. We travel to Vegas 2 -3 times a year and our goal is always to try a new restaurant. I'm not sure I can ever go to another steak place again without comparing it to my meal at CUT. The staff was incredible - not fussy - and the food was so amazing. I don't feel like I can describe it with words! We will be heading here again!
This place was simple brilliant. I am a foodie and eat really good food often. I always wonder how people have time to do reviews and here I am...that’s how unique this experience was. The food was exceptional and the service was top notch. Attentive but not pretentious. The food experience speaks to how Wolf and his team pay close attention to details yet insist service aspects are tasteful and genuinely delivered. I had the 8 oz American Wagyu Filet with mushrooms, lobster macaroni and cheese, and cream of spinach. I repeat, this place was STUPID good. I honestly felt somewhat guilty because many will probably never get a chance to enjoy how marvelous this experience was.
Food and service were great, but menu was very pricey, especially the drinks. We normally order a bottle of wine when out for a nice dinner, but their LEAST expensive bottle of red was over $80. We’ve been to many upscale restaurants with extensive wine lists, but CUT’s wine list is not accessible for people who don’t want to spend $100 on drinks alone. My husband and I spent $63 on 3 drinks which seems a bit outrageous (2 glasses of wine and a cocktail). I think they should offer some wines at more reasonable price points to accommodate various budgets. Overall a very positive experience and the American wagyu ribeye was to die for, but be prepared to spend a lot of money, especially if ordering alcohol.
My wife and I went to CUT at The Palazzo for my wife’s birthday. We were in search for a great steak and CUT did not disappoint. We split the porter house for 2. Which was carved table side for a fun experience. Perfectly cooked and tasted even better than it looked. Our waiters name was Robert and if you’re looking for great service seek him out. He kept the dinner fun and exciting. I let him know it was my wife’s birthday and he took great care of us. If you’re looking for a steakhouse in Vegas, look no further than CUT.
Hostess kept us waiting, even with our reservation and a pretty empty restaurant. She then tried to give us (literally) the worst table in the place! Food is good, but very overpriced. Ambiance is a bit cold. This place is fine, but with all the great vegas options, I would def pass on it and choose something else
Unfortunately we had a fairly awful experience. Steaks were cooked wrong twice in a row (they weren’t even close, in fact) sent back the first time and they came out again with new steaks cooked even less Everything was great up until that point. Things went downhill trying to get issues rectified and even thoUgh other staff agreed they were very undercooked the manager wouldn’t and went as far as accusing us of lying about the staff member agreeing with us. They did comp our drinks and appetizers which was appreciated. We left without having dinner. We would opt for another option if looking for a high end steak in LV as there are lots of options.
Ridiculous expensive for no service area . Don't order Ceasar salad . They don't know how to make it and it appears with 18€ on the bill for a side salad . They grill with their own rub . The rub is very good . But as always you don't taste the meat any more . With a rub you can serve any meat as long it is grilled properly and tender and aged long enough . I don't like the office seats and round tables . Don't let them sit you in the side room . The atmosphere there does not exist . They have nice half round tables at the walls around the main room . The wine choice was excellent . You can exspect this with wines starting 18€ by the glass . That's only my personal taste but I like it warmer and not stiff as a poker when eating meat with my friends . It was the biggest flop we made in Las Vegas . The bill was about 750 dollars for 5 persons . I made the fault that I ordered waguy style filet 10oz that was 80 for 6 oz plus 60 for 4 oz and I mixed it up with the normal us filet . Not only it was pretty expensive I could not eat it because it was too much fat Waguy . But the server did everything with his plate to animate me to order as stupid as I could
At all times - never experienced a better service on earth! After nine times in that restaurant -there was never a single issue, always there when you want to be served but never too much, full of perfection - you definitively feel as a guest, that these people - from the chef over service to front desk - they do everything to serve customers best. Any comment on the food necessary - well, beef at it's best and the chocolate soufflé - oh man, it's awesome, for sure.
I have always felt Cut differentiated itself from other high end steakhouses. However, most recently my experience was below average. $90 steak over cooked, sides came out about 10 minutes after the main courses, and a pushy server to get our order in but then disappeared post meal. I would have vocalized my experience but I never saw a manager or server post meal. Another server brought us the check and processed it. I have eaten here many times over the years as this is in our Vegas rotation, but will be reconsidering next time I visit.
This restaurant has zero ambiance and the staff upsells throughout the meal. The wait staff is either overburdened or just don’t care. They set down a plate of bread on top of our butter (making it enable) and left us to sit for 20 minutes before coming back to casually take our order. Tables are set like a cheap restaurant and the chair and tables are literally office furniture. I saw wine markups at 5X. If you go, take your own bottle and don’t expect anything in Service or ambiance. The steaks are good and I loved the crust on my wagu, so for that they get two stars. There are plenty of good steaks in Vegas, so I can’t recommend this place just for the steak.
Outstanding service and exceptional food. We made a mistake scheduling our reservation and showed up the day before. It was entirely our fault and the restaurant was completely full, but the staff was very kind and worked to get us another table in just a few minutes. We were seated at a table that was under an air vent and was rather cold. We asked to move to another table, and the staff was very understanding and kindly moved us to another location.
Once settled in, the food was simply incredible. Everyone ordered steak, of course, and it was the best we've ever had (and we've had LOT of really good steaks at other high-end restaurants around the country). An awesome experience and the best meal of our trip.
Excellent restaurant. Good layout and is a specialty steak house. Excellent appetizers and service. We had the NY steak, Chicken and Bone in T bone. The food was excellent. Had creamed spinach on the side along with brussel sprouts. Truly a fine dining experience.
Great Steaks....PERIOD! We have been to over 15 different steakhouse in Vegas, and always find our way back to CUT. While we enjoy trying different places, we just love the taste of the food at CUT. It is a little loud with back ground noise, but you get used to it after awhile. We give the food 5 STARS.
This was the best meal that my wife and I ever had. From start to finish, it was an incredible dining experience - the servers were extremely knowledgeable with their food and the professionalism was incredible. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone!! It is well worth the price tag
It was my very first time in Vegas and what brought me there originally was a concert. Being a chef myself, I had to find somewhere good to eat and discovered Wolfgang Puck's steakhouse Cut. I wasn't gonna miss out on this, it's Wolfgang Puck! The only available seating was very late but I didn't mind, I'm gonna enjoy this. I had already looked at the menu and knew I wanted to have their Wagyu steak. The menu and wine list is impressive. The service is beyond anything I've experienced and their recommendations are excellent. I had the maple glazed pork belly for an appetizer and ordered a glass of Sangiovese. The complimentary bread was delicious, the French butter is amazing and far better than what we get here in the U.S.. I had the 9oz American Wagyu ribeye cooked to med-rare with caramelized scallions. OMG it is spectacular. I also had the cauliflower and pureed golden potato forgot sides. It was like heaven melting in my mouth. For dessert I had their Baked Alaska. Wow! Superb! Everything was perfect. Thank you for that experience. I'll be back for sure with friends.
Our food was fantastic from the amuse bouche of gougères all the way through to our dessert. For the curious, our table of four had each enjoyed different cuts of steak and shared several side dishes (the mac and cheese, creamed spinach and papas bravos). Wine and liquor selection offered something for everyone at our table. The service was good, but for this price point, there are small tweaks that could make it a really outstanding experience (e.g. a glass of water was spilled and our napkins were used to clean it up but not replaced (even after asking), the waiter did not consistently check with the entire table for drinks, there seemed to be opportunities to more clearly define what each of the three waiters assigned to our table was expected to assist with...). Again, this statement is not intended to be a "bad review": we had an excellent meal in a lovely atmosphere with service that was solid.
