It was great. The bday guest loved the food & special details!!
One of our favorite restaurants! Made a reservation and we got right in. Food and service was great.
This place NEVER disappoints. Loved the swordfish special!!
Great server - very accommodating for my dietary needs
A superb restaurant with an incredible food, each time we visit Salt Lake we visit Current and each time it is perfect!
Very nice business diner. I do like this restaurant, great food and service in a convenient location.
Great service, excellent food and nice ambiance.
The food was great. Service was okay. It was great when we got service however we sat with empty wine glasses for a good 15 minutes or so. The music was obnoxious for the atmosphere. Heavy metal music was blaring and not for the faint of heart. We were a little confused by the music choice with such a beautiful restaurant.
My wife and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. The staff all wished us happy anniversary and were very kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our special evening. Thank you Current.
It was fantastic I celebrated my anniversary there and I couldn’t have possibly been better!
Our experience was wonderful. It was my birthday dinner and it definitely made my night. The service was friendly and professional, the food was delicious and the ambiance was relaxing.
Very poor service and experience and horribly over price food. They ran out of bread and it was New Year’s Eve. By end of night service staff was taking out garbage walking through restaurant as diners were still eating. The food was cold and mediocre at best.
I came here for New Years Eve it was amazing. The only thing I didn’t think was 5 star worthy was the menu . I come to current to enjoy seafood , and I felt like the NYE menu should have more seafood options, the original menu is amazing and I love trying all the seafood options on it to have a taste of everything.
Very good food and presentation, attentive service and great space.
It was a fixed New Year’s Eve menu. The ahi and scallops were salty and the brownie was too dense. The pear salad was my favorite! The service and ambiance was great!
Pre New Year’s Eve dinner with friends.
We usually bring our own wine. Wife for white. Myself with red. Maybe only charge 1 corkage ($15) for 2 wine glasses. Not $30 for 2 opens & 2 glasses. Pratik’s tip would have been better... Food n service really good though.
ps. Mine was a screwtop :-)
If you’re in search of a high class seafood experience, this is it. Beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. We had a dozen oysters, followed by the calamari and mussels appetizers (paired with a sherry flight), and shared the scallop entree. All were to die for. Our service was a little lack-luster, but we wanted for nothing and he was quick. Highly recommend to anyone in SLC.
Wait staff was excellent and didn’t rush us. Food was delicious.
Easy to make a reservation the day of for my family of 5 over the holidays. Loved the modern industrial, but classic vibe. Food was amazing, except my husband wasn’t a huge fan of his burger (what you get for ordering a burger at a seafood restaurant...)! Get the clam chowder and sour dough bread.
Clearly overpriced for the quality. Would not go back or recommend to anyone.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Absolutely phenomenal service.
I love this restaurant, the ambiance is amazing the seafood is fresh and the menu is one of a kind. Me and my bf ordered lots of apps and oysters to try all the seafood and to me that was the way to do it. The oysters were beyond amazing and definitely a favorite ! I will be coming back soon .
Wonderful meal. Everything was super tasty and Pratik (sp?) provided exceptional service!
The food was great, and it came out at a timely manner. However, I’ve never felt so rushed. As we were slowing down and very much so still eating multiple servers kept coming and asking us if we were done to take away the plates. We were there for a total of 1.5 hours. It was rude.
The servers were fine but held up by a very slow kitchen. We waited nearly 20 minute for an appetizer at lunch—they weren’t very crowded despite being right before the holiday. They were nice to comp our first course. The rest of the food was fine—not remarkable.
Not sure I will be back for awhile in hopes the kitchen can get its act together.
Birthday for my son
Martin and Jesus were amazing. My girlfriend and I came here for our combined birthday. It was perfect. Atmosphere was on point food was heaven and our names on the menu were over the top!!!
I loved the restaurant. Food and service was great. My only complaint was that the noise level
was too high to allow easy conversation.
Wonderful experience! Food and service top notch.
The service was fantastic with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was AMAZING and came out surprisingly quickly. The atmosphere was also really unique. It's a very open floor plan but still feels private with the way the booths and tables are arranged. If you're looking for delicious seafood and a fantastic dining experience, look no further. I will definitely be returning and would also like to check out the adjoining bar.
First time in. Good food, came out fast and hot. Fish cooked perfectly, and the dessert was very nice as well. The service was the best part, very attentive, friendly, professional.
How does one of the best serve up Mary’s Chicken and Black Cod preceded by Octopus and Salad only to achieve BEST once again? I am not sure but it keeps me coming back!
Too many flavors happening. Expensive for what you get.
One of our favorites - never anything but excellent!
Really like this place. Great service and food.
This was our second time dining here, food and service was once again fabulous. However, in comparison to our first visit, a few things about the food and drinks threw me for a little bit of a disappointing loop. The first time I had ordered their house ginger soda, that had basil and lime stuffed in there, and it was BOMB. The second time, I had one basil leaf on top, which didnt leave the drink nearly as tasty. I assume a different bar tender, but I do expect some constancy with 'house' items such as this. I would only order it again if it was the first bar tender we had experienced. Also, the first time dining I had the scallops which again were fabulous, one of the BEST MEALS I HAVE EVER HAD IN SALT LAKE. However, we had observed some tempting fish and chips walk by and decided on this second time to try those out. They were indeed great fish and chips, but one thing that totally failed on the plate was their 'slaw'. When mentioning it to the server he stated it was more of a garnish. In my opinion when you experience fine dining, everything on the plate, entree or garnish it should be delicious. It was a minor thing but still and easy spot to step it up a few notches. All in all great restaurant, but some constancy and elevated items on the plate would really help make it a top, or THE top place in Salt Lake for seafood.
Fabulous food and drinks!
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner very much. All my food limitations were taken seriously and chef prepared a delicious halibut that was perfectly prepared.
This place never disappoints. They have really amazing service and pay attention to the smallest details. We love bring friends here for their birthdays because they really go above and beyond.
