Stopped in here before the Pink concert as we parked under the Hyatt. We had first gone over to Capital City Brewing which was Packed, crowded and Noisy. Since we had a reservation we came back to Cure Bar and thank god we did. We opted to sit at the bar as it was more social. The bartenders were AWESOME. Knowledgeable, friendly, I would hang out with them. Since it was a hotel bar, there were folks by themselves, we even got to talking with them. This is definitely the the type of bar/restaurant I would want to visit if I was traveling alone as it was quiet, yet entertaining. The food was really good. The Tap list outstanding (Local Craft Brews) and the cocktails very good. It was only a few blocks from Verizon Center, and parking below was only $12 via SpotHero. We will definitely return and may make it a regular for pre/post events.

The food selection was great and was delivered quickly. The fried chicken is a must. Get 2 orders. There were vegetarian and vegan options as well. Everything was delicious. Great atmosphere. Exceptional service with a smile.

I have eaten at Cure a few times and happily brought two new people with me (5 in my party). They loved it. Cure's menu caters to all tastes. If you're vegan, you can find dishes, same for vegetarians, fish eaters, and meat eaters. The food is creative, beautifully displayed, and tastes great.

Only restaurant in Grand Hyatt open in the evening. Has diverse menu that allows smaller or larger food and cost options. Food is good, not great. Better to stick with traditional hotel fare. Great bar staff; good table staff. Multi-level dining is not really user friendly. Would think someone will be doing redesign.

Taxi drivers know everything, and ours tried to warn us we would be displeased here. My steak was beyond dry even at medium-rare. The menu is deceiving because accompaniments are not listed with each entrée. Instead there is a separate list of side dishes, leading a diner to believe the menu is à la carte. We ordered sides, which were redundant. The server could have informed us but perhaps she was building a check. This place appears to be a watering hole for drunkard hotel guests and conventioneers. The noise from these ill mannered patrons was out of bounds. (This is an overdue review for a March 18 dinner.)

Great service, good selection of food at a good price. Great value for a hotel restaurant.

Cure never disappoints me, the food, the service, the ambiance are all perfect!!

I work nearby and often stroll to Cure for a very well-priced and tasty lunch. Folks who think hotel food is always inferior should try Cure. It's a great resource in our trendy but also expensive City Center neighborhood.

Lovely place to catch up with a friend. My burger was very tasty, secretly I think I loved the fries more! Our drinks were fabulous— Hot tottie! Chorizo flat bread needed some more sauce or something— it was on the drier side. We were pleased with the service. ‘‘Twas a good evening!

I keep coming back to CURE. The food is excellent and they offer up items everyone knows, but with a bit of imagination and flair.
The wait staff is so good and solicitous. This last time was crowded, but our waitress & the man who helped bring out the food were very much aware of what we might need and asked if we were good, without hovering.

Don't be put off by the hotel setting. This place is attractive, w/ interesting layout that nicely separates diners on different levels and in different sections. And more important, the menu is innovative and the food is delicious. Service is warm and attentive. A great find near my office for business lunch!

This is your average hotel lobby bar. The burger was dry but the half chicken was verynice We were seated promptly however had to wait on a soda after asking for it twice. The wrong side item was provided with the burger. This was not worth the price of the meal

Great service, lots of options, and great location. I will definitely return.

Cure Bar & Bistro is a "hidden gem" in downtown DC. Located inside the Grand Hyatt hotel near CityCenter, the restaurant offers local organic food in a cozy atmosphere. They have a lunch menu where diners can select 2, 3, or 4 menu items; plus they offer the option of half glasses of wine for those of us who prefer a smaller portion. Lunch prices are very reasonable and correspond to the number of items selected. I had a bowl of their butternut squash soup, a lobster roll, and a tune poke -- all were delicious. I'll definitely be going back to Cure Bar & Bistro.

Cure is my new go-to lunch place. Good food and easy to have a conversation. The food concept is interesting---choose 3, 4 or 5 dishes for set prices. Portions small but not micro. Good value, quality, taste and service.

There lunch menu is reasonably priced and it’s fun to get three small plates for $15. I had small lobster roll, fried chicken piece, and salad. Not a bad deal.

The menu is chocked full of foods you know, but they're all done with a twist. My table had the fried chicken, the posole soup, a pear and pistachio salad, mac & cheese, and we tried all three desserts. Everything was delicious. Nothing was left. It was filling and for a good price--3 small plates for $15.00. I recommend.

This place has an interesting layout, multi-leveled and opening up into an indoor hotel courtyard area. The food was good (not bad, not great) and the prices were very reasonable. Service was not good; we had to ask several times to get our water refilled, and the server made a rude comment about what my friend chose not to eat from her plate.

Service was bad, not poor. Waitress was inattentive and clueless. Food was average, and it was extremely loud. Thought it would be better when connected to a Hyatt. Truly disappointed.

They don't know how to cook beef. One night, I ordered a burger medium and it was almost raw around the center. Another night I ordered a ribeye steak medium and it was well done. Other wise the food was decent.

Our second night there we were seated next to a bridal party of 8 even though there were plenty of empty tables. Out tables was less than 2 feet from their noisy party. The party wasn't rowdy. Just a lot of conversations. It would have been nice if my wife and I could have heard each other instead of their party.

We had a great time at Cure Bar and Bistro. We had a large party (12) and it was great fun to select different options from the small plates. The wine was good and decently priced. The food came quickly and we enjoyed nearly everything. The seating arrangement (several tables in each area with a seating area on several floors of the restaurant) was nice and kept the noise to a minimum even in the atrium setting. We would definitely come back for lunch or dinner.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the drinks were very good, and the food was outstanding. Would definitely dine there again.

Cure Bar and Bistro has a lot going for it. It's an attractive, comfortable space. If you like the opportunity to sample several dishes (which I do), its small plate format makes it easy and enjoyable. The prices are reasonable. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The booths and some of the tables are sufficiently set apart that it is possible to have a quiet, private conversation which is impossible in many noisy, more crowded DC restaurants. The one fly in the ointment is the coffee, which, in my recent visit was among the worst I've had anywhere. To call it "gross " would be a step up. It certainly was not the way I wanted to wrap up a pleasant meal. The experience won't stop me from returning to Cure, but it will stop me from ordering coffee there again.

Had a good experience at Cure after a day at meetings. Did not realize that it is a hotel restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere and the food was quite good. The service started off good, but as the evening progressed, it became more and more difficult to get our waiter's attention. The restaurant seemed busy for the staffing levels. Nevertheless, it was a good experience, the cocktails were good and the food above average.

Quiet location attached to the Hyatt Grand. Great place to meet if you are at Metro Center to meet friends. Food was innovative and varied. Reasonably priced with a wine taste to accompany your meal. Good option for catching up with friends or business associates

Food and service were good; however, since the restaurant is part of the grand Hyatt hotel everything was taxed extra. About an extra $60 in taxes. Ouch.

My colleague and I were pleasantly surprised by the hearty portions, intriguing menu items, and reasonable prices. The waiter was terrific and the desserts were really special

This tri level bistro offers great service and top notch food. Wine list is small but effect. Food selections were diverse and well prepared. There appears to be a trend in upscale hotel dinning and the Hyatt is following suite.

My chard was a bit salty, the char was overcooked, the potatoes were great. The duck prosciutto flat bread was very tasty. Other dishes were ok too. The creme brulee and the chocolate cake were amazing. The restaurant's lay out is awkward and the first table offered was a high table.by the window. Still, everyone was very accommodating and we enjoyed our enening.

First off, this not a $ restaurant. $$ at a minimum. One of our guests spent over $100 on a burger, a kids chicken tender with fries, and an appetizer. Apperizers and one round of drinks for 6 people was over $200. Second, are party was seated in a lounge. Not at tables, even though we had a dinner reservation. Third, our waiter disappeared. Drink refills and problems with our orders required us to walk around and find someone. Manager and hostess stood at the front and kept their backs to us. We had to go to them. We skipped the entrees, paid our bill and left. Hell of a start to a birthday celebration. Just avoid the place.

I especially like to meet friends at Cure when I know we will linger and want a quiet conversation. I appreciate, too, that there are choices for vegetarian diners.

This was our dinner choice prior to attending Play at Fords Theater. We both enjoyed our meal however a choice of potato would have complimented the Beer Can Chicken.
