Everything was delicious! Excellent service! Will definitely be back
Decent at best, other then our waiter who was delightful in personality but distracted in service, I wouldn’t go back.
We stopped by The Cupping Room for lunch. Our food was delicious (hamburgers, salads) and our server was great. The restaurant is charming and in a great location. After lunch we strolled around SoHo then walked to the 9/11 museum. A+
We’re told when we sat down they were only serving salads and sandwiches-would have been a great weekend sea to notify people with reservations of that so they could choose to cancel.
We ordered a tuna melt, quesadilla and quinoa salad. The salad was great, the quesadilla was boring and bland, the tuna melt was dry, cold and on stale ciabatta bread.
Was not my first time here but will definitely be my last!
Horrible sodas and lemonade. It should be simple to achieve
Food was wonderful. We went for a birthday brunch and everyone enjoyed everything they ordered. The Eggs Benedict options were great. Really enjoyed being able to customize your own. 6 people attended and 6 people all got different options. The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious on the Eggs Benedict. Our server was very nice and attentive. The place was crowded but we felt like he only had us to focus on. Will definitely go again when we are back in New York.
It was amazing as usual!
The food was very good, but the music was outstanding! Kenny Shanker's band is fabulous and we highly recommend going when they're playing.
We went in for a casual lunch. The food was great and customer service also was great. We will return again!
Food was incredible and ambiance was perfect! Great find!
Great brunch with a focus on eggs Benedict. Portions were very generous but prices were a little high. Service was great. Atmosphere is cute.
Great place! Highly recommend it.
I hadn't been to the Cupping Room in years (possibly 30!) but when I went Friday night I was pleased to see nothing had changed. It continues to be super laid back. The food is delicious, the server's are incredibly nice, and there is still wonderful live music. Got to hear the incredibly talented Sarah James and take part in her birthday celebration. Wonderful evening!
Always a pleasure to come to CRC when we are in the city. It's laid back and cozy. The food is delicious with a good variety, and the service is outstanding.
Old place with great food and reasonable prices, relaxed vibe, not “super cool!” I had strip steak which was great and reasonable.
Very good food. Good portions for reasonable prices. Artichoke ravioli was cooked well and tasted great. O cake for dessert is a cheesecake lovers dream and can easily be shared.
Classic NY dining experience. Great neighborhood to walk around after your meal.
The food was epensive but it was a lot. I likr that thwy could add cheese to my avocado toast.
The hostess was as terrific, our waiter excellent. Love the ambiance and everyone enjoyed their meal. Thanks!
Great atmosphere. Generous food portions and the staff was great.
Went also to see show and listen to music, which was great
Excellent service. Our waiter was outstanding.
We sat at a lovely table with window to Soho. Unfortunately that is all that was good. My brioche french toast was over cooked and dry. My husbands avocado toast and egg was not particularly tasty and my granddaughters scrambled eggs were also over cooked. The location was nice but the food was not. Would not recommend to others. By the way we arrived with a reservation for 11:30 and they were not crowded at all.
Having visited Cupping Rooms in the past I was disappointed with my recent visit. Waiter was hovering too close and too long, lighting too dim, air temperature too cool and the tables unclean and sticky.
Having said that the burgers chosen by my teenagers were good and the Cobb salad was excellent.
Servers were not that friendly or attentive. Couldn’t find our waitress for 20 minutes. The place is also dirty and the vents above us were caked with dust! Would not go back.
On Mothers Day- They put a large, very loud group in the center of the restaurant. We couldn't hear each other speak. Soup was cold hamburger was over done and stale bread. We ordered a virgin bloody mary- it had alcohol in it!!
We wont return.
Initially I was not thrilled with the seating arrangement which was near the bar & what I believe to be the employees or coat room, but the friendly service and good food outweighed my initial displeasure. Plus it turned out to be the quiet section of the restaurant. It was Mother's Day and the place was full.
Highly recommend the French Toast......
The place is known by its pancakes. I went there specifically for that. There was no pancake...and the sweets I had to substitute were old.
Great place for Brunch in NYC. Food is always good and my go to place on Sunday mornings in the city
The restroom was dirty but the waitress and meal were excellent
Such an amazing experience. I went for brunch for the first time as a last minute plan and it is now my new favorite place!
I brought a group of teens for a 4:00 "snack" to The Cupping Room. One of the teen's order was brought out much later than the rest. I ordered a muffin which was stale.
The waiter was extremely attentive and made wonderful brunch recommendations! I always enjoy the atmosphere and service when visiting!
Only downside was that we were under a speaker and the music was so loud that, along with crowd noise, everyone had to repeat everything the entire meal.
It’s a very busy place but wait staff was very inattentive. Had to ask multiple times for silverware, condiments and never got my coffee refill.
Just about everyone I know has worked in a restaurant at some point. We had good service and a good meal at The Cupping Room and it is wonderful place. While were finishing up our conversation, someone other than our server (I suppose the floor manager) rudely approached our table (there were many other tables around us that had finished their meals and were still at the table but we were the closest) and told us that they were very busy and they needed our table. Thankfully everyone at our table has a sense of humor so no one was upset and we were somewhat entertained by this manager then angrily removing everything from our table as if we weren't there. Had I done that when I waited tables I would have been fired on the spot.
My reservation was placed into a dirty cramped corner away from the nicer dining area, crowded by kitchen staff and a coffee bar. The party next to us left they were so displeased with the seating area . We asked to move but watched multiple other parties arrive without reservations and be seated with priority over us. The food was alright, my friends liked it but my burger was dry and bacon was grossly dry and cold. There was also obnoxiously loud music playing so rudely that that we couldn't hear the whispering server or each other as we shouted through a conversation during our awful visit.
Great breakfast in a very relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone.
Steven our waiter was lovely
The light in the room was just perfect and the food and drink were delicious Thank you
Best brunch in NYC!!! Always a fave
