Food was tasty but not hot. Portions generous. The coffee was good and a good selection of options for breakfast. Too many options nearby to go back.
Great spot for breakfast if you’re in the neighborhood
Feels like it’s been there forever
Full of old style charm
Our server, Andre was amazing! Good food, huge portions.
Waiter was very attentive and not overly intrusive. Food portions are generous and good. Liked the artworks hanging on the wall.
Lovely place, large menu, great hamburger and fries, friendly service. Not pretentious. Just plain good.
Lattes to start were the best we've had in a while, hot and rich espresso taste, a beautiful milky cappuccino. Brunch was superb. Over stuffed omelettes, pretty perfect eggs benedict, brie oozing from smoked turkey and apple chutney on french bread.
Tourists from London, came here twice for breakfast on our 4 day stay. Pancakes are exceptionally great but then so was everything. Highly recommend. 5 stars!
Amazing experience! Everything from the food to tbthe service to the drinks was simply outstanding. Will definitely return.
Thank you Nasrul
Great place, lotta fun staff was very nice, took a long time for the food to come out. We were in no rush though, the waitress recognize this on her own and brought us a complimentary pastry which was delicious, you would think that on a Sunday at 11:30 in the morning that would be enough staff for a brunch, overall I liked it and would come back
Ambiance was great and food was good. A bit pricey given that the food wasn’t particularly outstanding but the experience was very relaxed and enjoyable.
Food was very good but fries were cold as well as hollandaise sauce. Overall very noisy atmosphere but still would come back.
Was really looking forward to trying it out. Food was very average, dining room cold, waiter hard to find.
I had not been there for 20 years and other than a remodel it was exactly as we remembered. The only disappointment was the sour cream muffins which are now stuffed with jelly. Otherwise it was excellent
We are from out of town and happened upon Cupping Room. It was the perfect NYC nighttime experience in Soho. Great food! Amazing, friendly service, and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting.
Cute cozy wood filled cafe with delicious breakfast and brunch! Something for everyone. A nice place to start your morning!
Great food, unique interesting setting. The service was great! I would recommend this restaurant!
Service was horrible. Took 1 hour just to get cappuccinos. And 1.5 hours for our food. Waiter never came back to offer more coffee.
Food was average and 2 out of our eight dishes were cold!
The restaurant itself was cold and drafty. Not warm and cozy at all. Had to eat with coats on.
Would not recommend this place. The city has far better options to choose from.
I met my two girlfriends here, one was visiting from Florida. We had a reservation for 10am and were seated right away. That was when all service ended. We literally sat for 45 minutes without a server coming over to us, not even to give us coffee. I had to get up and go over and find someone to take our coffee orders and then our breakfast orders. Thankfully we were so happy to see one another since we don't get to but once a year, that we didn't become rude or nasty. However, the service was atrocious. The worst service the three of us have ever experienced in NYC.
the host seemed to not care about anyone who had a reservation. we went the previous year and had no issues or no wait. overheard another couple who was having a similar issue and had to wait even though they had a reservation. the food was great so it made up for the first part
Some of the best breakfast food in NYC!
This place is amazing, quiet NYC ambience, excellent food
Food was just ok. Nothing wrong with the restaurant but I’ve been to better. Food presentation was lacking. Taste, ok, nothing special. Waited awhile for our drinks but the bar was not busy. Just not a good or bad experience but expected more from a place in SoHo, so slightly disappointed and will not return when there are better places to attend.
We've been to the Cupping Room several times, almost always for brunch. My husband is an omelette connoisseur - he orders them everywhere we go and this is consistently his favorite! He calls it the "best omelette anywhere, period". The Cupping Room is cozy, comfortable, and delicious every time, and the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Definitely one of our favorite NY restaurants.
What a wonderful experience. Good food, and a great wait staff. We will definitely be back!
Great breakfast with the family
The food and service was good, my only complaint was that my associate found a fragment of what looked to be steel wool used to clean grills, pots and pans on her salad. Thank god she didnt swallow, but the waitress had that meal comped and offered to replace for a new salad. So I feel that was handled well.
We’ve been coming here for brunch for quite some time. It took over 20 min to get our bloody Mary’s. Our server seemed very annoyed that we didn’t want to order brunch til we got our drinks.
We both ordered Eggs Benedict. They were cold. Cold eggs, cold sauce The only hot thing on the plate was the French fries.
Very disappointed in one of our favorite brunch places in Soho
Brunch was good but nothing over the top. Got eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary had way too much seasoning, eggs bending was good. Service was average, busy on Sunday morning.
I have always loved this place for brunch, yummy, casual and fun
Very enjoyable experience.
Second time eating Sunday brunch at Cupping Room Cafe and just as good as the first. The host very kindly accommodated a much enlarged group at the last minute. Friendly staff, good food and a vibrant ambiance, a winning combination in my view.
Amazing service from Nas
Food selection is as plentiful for brunch and tasted great. Except the chicken sausage. Service was fine. Maybe needed a little more follow up. Overall nice experience for a group of 11.
Guests from out of town: everyone please with their food—and great coffee. Really crowded on a Sunday at 10:00 and food tool awhile but everything was cooked as ordered. No disappointments!
Extremely disappointing. This was our first visit to the restaurant. Had previously read some good things which is baffling because the food is mediocre at best. We were there for lunch. My companion ordered a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. How hard is it to screw that up. Not very, evidently. It was tasteless and stale. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Pretty much the same situation. I had to keep pouring table salt (which I don’t even use) on the sandwich to try to flavor it, to no avail. It tasted like it had been lying around or had been frozen and reheated.
I don’t want to disparage the service however, which was fine. It’s unfortunate that the food was so awful. Will not be returning.
Went for late breakfast on Thursday and it was quiet and so lovely. Coffee was A+, as was the wait staff. Food was very good! Highly recommend eggs Benedict!
Perfect place for brunch in SoHo. Great food, great ambiance, and the staff could not have been nicer in accommodating and taking care of our large group. Will definitely be back!
Ahi tuna salad- the tuna was chewy, muddy brown in the middle...sent it back and ordered turkey andouille soup and carrot cake...both were really good! It was my birthday and I was
disappointed at first- ended well. Wait person was very sweet, gave me extra strawberries and was apologetic about the service. Not planning on going back.
