Great food and atmosphere- sit at the bar and have Brian drive and you can’t go wrong!
Excellent all around. Drinks were a bit expensuve.
Very noisy. Fish and chips soggy. Thai Bass outstanding. Was told peconic oysters were great.
Awesome place with great seafood. Everything was fresh, the staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and it was fantastic! Some of the freshest oysters we’ve ever had! Connecticut lobster roll was outstanding! The whole steamed lobster was to die for! Cocktails were great, as was the service! Cute & cozy restaurant with A-1 food, drinks, ambience, & service! We will definitely return and highly recommend!
We have been dining here for several years. It’s one of our favorites. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. Our favorites are the raw bar, market fish, scallops, lobster rolls. The fries are the best. On this visit, we were fortunate to speak with one of the chefs and told him one of our favorite foods was not on the menu. To our surprise, we were served the dish without even asking. He listened and responded on the spot. That’s why we love this place. It’s the best.
Very nice meal! We were seated promptly, drinks were delivered quickly and the food was outstanding. We had the seared scallops, fish stew and the gazpacho verde. The gazpacho verde stole the show.
Enjoy the freshness of oysters and every appetizer we ordered. Service is excellent. The manager checked on us twice to make sure we are ok. Love the vibe!! Cocktail is tasty! My family and I had a good time!!
The food and drink are ethereal and the service is also quite good. The tables are very close together, but hey, this is New York.
Get the Connecticut-style lobster roll if you can't decide between the two options, and then thank me later!
The Best oyester I have evner tasted. Good tablespace and Nice wine.
Service was abysmal, tons of staff but guests were waiting and waiting while they milled around busy? And god knows how they could overlook the lobster when they prepare thousands of them a day next door. Fish and chips was beyond bad. Will leave this place for the tourists...poor tourists.
Food was amazing. Perfect summer seafood ceviche and light melody of vegetables with squash with puree.
We stayed in NY City for a week, Chelsea Market is a fun place to visit. Cull and Pistol is one of the best restaurant to have fresh seafood. Love the clams, oysters and lobsters. Will definitely recommend.
Made a reservation and when I arrived and asked for a particular table that was empty, I was told I can sit there for 30 minutes. I didn't want to have a 30min dinner and asked for the manager who was accommodating. The person at the door was rude and uncaring.
Extremely crowded. Service was quick and they tried to be attentive but our bread was forgotten and had to be reminded. Took a while to get our second glass of wine. The food was excellent and oysters were fresh. We had a dozen oysters, toasted trout starter, lobster starter, crabs, and dumplings. All were excellent and would go back for food but unsure if I will set foot again in Chelsea Market (just too crowded for me). Highly recommended restaurant!
Great job by the host for being able to hold my table due to a mini emergency and my guests were running late. Once seated the rest of the staff were super awesome and took care of us the rest of the way. Good job, good food.
We had a wonderful time visiting with old friends in this cozy little restaurant. Oysters were great and the ceviche was fabulous. Had two different fish and two different lobster rolls...yummmm. Everything was so fresh!
Best lobster bake! It is small like they say but food and service superior! Highly recommended!
Delicious seafood! This restaurant is a skinny little room tucked into Chelsea Market, but the food is excellent and service is friendly and efficient. Best lobster roll ever!
I usually don't go to CM (seems touristy) but C&P was recommended by a friend who is very thing but touristy. Food was excellent and the service great. Wine was reasonable and good. Would go back. Its small, linear with tables along the opposite wall from the bar so you need to know that.
Great meal! The oysters, chowder and fish were fantastic. A small place, but good service and definitely worth going back to!
We shared an octopus starter which was fantastic, followed by a Catalan fish stew, which was more like a soup, but with a lobster broth base, and pieces of fish, prawns, mussels and potatoes, still absolutely delicious. Also accompanied by lovely toasted ciabatta.
Excelente comida y muy de moda en chelsey market.
Mariscos y platos fusión common dumplings de langosta !!
Congratulation to the C&P team! Loved the place, the food and the service. Hope to go back soon!
Great food, great atmosphere, great location and great service. Really nice!
great meal. reasonable price. good selection of oysters
Ate at bar and had a 3.5 grilled lobster. Outstanding and bar tender was as good as it gets. Must be restaurant for lobster
Excellent raw bar and shellfish. Manhattan prices—but it’s in Manhattan. 😁
Great find in Chelsea Market! Delicious oysters on the half shell....small just like I like them! The lobster bisque was very tasty and had large pieces of lobster meat in it! We then had the Lobster Roll.....warm and buttery! Cocktails were very good! Waitstaff was very friendly and efficient!
Very good place on chelsea market
A place to discover
Take your Time to read the menu
Great seafood in the heart of Chelsea Market. Friendly efficient service. Restaurant was full so reservation advised.
This seafood-focused place is a true gem! It's connected with the adjacent Lobster Place seafood store, which is one of the best stores in town for their huge selection of the freshest seafood of all types. The four of us split a variety of starters and appetizers, all of which were very well executed. For our entrees, two us ordered the market fish of the day (black bass), which was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by a wonderful fresh pea risotto. The other two shared the clam bake, which consisted of littleneck clams, 1.5lb maine lobster, mussels, shrimp, dickson's sausage, corn on the cob and fingerling potatoes - a feast! The wine list is short, but well selected, featuring a good mix of whites (our Greek wine was perfect with the meal), along with a handful of reds. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine list - and even brought us an additional starter when there was a little wait for the entrees, as the clam bake takes a while to prepare. The space is quite small, so be sure to make reservations for dinner.
Great food. Preffered to sit right in front of the oyster shuckers. Oysters were very fresh. Branzino was cooked perfectly. Fries were great. Clam chowder was one of the best I ever had. Octopus serving was very, very small. It was the only disappointing dish.
Good and service were good. Crowded dining area.
Great place. Great Service. Ordered the Penchant Seafood Tower and wasn't disappointed. The octopus small plate was also great. Would become a go-to place to seafood. Wasn't too pricey, and had a lot of great raw bar options.
Tip: dont order the lobster from the raw bar because its served chilled. Order the whole lobster from the entrees for a freshly steamed/grilled lobster.
Could recommend the ocotpus for appetizer/small plate.
Food was excellent. The restaurant is within Chelsea Markets, so the eating space is a little tight. Either way, it was a great experience. I'd recommend to a friend.
A cosy, energetic small restaurant with delicious sea food. Excellent service and warm welcoming staff.
Very good food the price seemed great for lobster I would recommend
The grilled lobster was outstanding. We had a very enjoyable experience.
