Cool atmosphere. Live music was awesome but definitely not a quiet place. That was fine with us though. Dinner was delicious. French dip melted in your mouth. Yummy!
Good food. Very busy so our reservation was about 30 minutes late. Staff was great.
Awesome bartender. They really know how to pour a martini
Nice dinner. Not too expensive which is a good thing when on a per diem for dinner.
The ribs were the best I've had in Las Vegas!
We really had a nice evening!
Quick service, excellent pink margarita, live entertainment and outdoor seating
Great attentive server : not part of Hard Rock restaurant chain so the birthday voucher wasn’t accepted. Kindly given a complimentary drink by the manager which was a nice gesture when quested at check time
The Restaurant were advised by open table message it was a birthday but no mention picked up so be sure if you are celebrating to mention it personally.
It’s VERY noisy music but it didn’t bother us.
Pop in : it’s casual and as it’s say easy going gastro
We’d go again
I had heard about this Restaurant and we were going to a show at the Hard Rock so perfect opportunity to check it out. We just had few appetizers but they were all delicious. Pretzels and fondue great, the chips and dip fantastic, but the smoked salmon was amazing loved it. All done in house and you can tell would go agin in a heartbeat.
mmmmm French dip always great. Thomas was a good waiter.
We grabbed lunch here on a Sunday. The food and service were excellent overall. I had the fried chicken with honey drizzle and my wife had the ribs. The only item we had that was not quite what we expected was the banana cream pie, which came atop a large smear of butterscotch (which we both do not like and we were not warned about ahead of time). They also do not offer unflavored iced tea, the nearest thing they have is unsweetened jasmine iced tea. Despite the small hiccups, the quality of the food and service overall makes this a great place to visit while in Las Vegas.
Restaurant markets itself as a gastropub. Some of the food might fall into that category, but this is most definitely NOT a gastropub.
Our waiter was very attentive and personable.
Food is overpriced for what you receive.
The au jus that came with my food was lukewarm, not hot.
Beer selection is limited and what they do have is not great.
Loud band playing covers of 70 's AM Gold music.
Not a restaurant I would choose again.
Amazing service! Friendly with great care but most important great food & great service..We are happy to take our friends anytime.
The fried chicken is sooo yummy and the coleslaw too. Can't wait to go back:)
Food was meh. We’ve eaten there before and food was awesome. Not sure what happened. My burger was under seasoned and quite boring. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and several were raw/cold in the center.
Great dining experience everytime! Love the pretzel fondue and ribeye cap.
Waitress forgot our appetizer so we had to eat it after entrees were served.so busy she did not check on us and we had to tell the runner about missed appetizer.
Everything was amazing!! Service, food, drinks! All 100%!
We made a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes :/ i understand thin happen, but they weren’t accommodating or sympathetic that we had made the early reservation to make a show on time.
Great place to take friends from out of town or even to go with locals. Service was a bit disorganized. Great atmosphere but the food is not spectacular.
Very good food and atmosphere. Ok beer selection. Loud so it’s not for an evening where you plan to have a lot of conversation.
As a vegetarian, I was very pleased with the menu options. I also liked the tapas-style portion of the menu, which offered an array of tasty options. The atmosphere was great, and the cocktails were delicious. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be back!
Great dinner at CD, as always. Was very busy and our food took longer than usual, but our waitress was great and food delicious. We were sat right inside the front door, which was not as fun as being inside. Sit on the patio if weather permits. Good live music.
Lauren was amazing...very attentive and helpful...great personality too. Food was hot and delicious. Thanks for a great night!
Good and service was great! Awesome/different flavors.
Great food and friendly service. Will be back!
the pretzel fondue was amazing, great service, i had the steak which was so tender, the fried chicken looked awesome too
We enjoyed our meal at Culinary Dropout - it was a quiet evening, and we had a very attentive waitress. She gave us some good recommendations for drinks (the Manhattan) and for food. My mom loved the ribs, and I thought the cannelloni was great, the roasted vegetables gave it a great flavor. The music was a little loud, and I was glad it was a quiet night so we could hear each other. We also really liked the pretzels with cheese fondue, although we could have done with a 1/2 order - wish that existed! Overall it was a nice venue, great service and great food.
Absolutely bland! Thought this would be a neat place given that it is inside the Hard Rock Hotel and that the food at an associated restaurant would have pizzazz and flavor. What a disappointment. No pizzazz and absolutely no flavor; a grandparent with acid reflux would even be bored senseless at the lack of flavor. My spouse had the Cap'n Crunch Crusted French Toast (hardly crusted and didn't taste like the cereal in the least) and I had the BBQ Pork Belly Nachos (the BBQ pork was sweet, the chips on the nachos bland, the cheese sauce more like an alfredo sauce, and absolutely no spice, no jalapenos, nothing). To top it all off we were seated where our server was actually assigned to an area all the way across the restaurant (mismanagement of the servers and the workload by the management team), and it took us about 10-15 minutes for just a side order of jalapenos and Tabasco (trying to make the nachos more palatable). We will not be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone.
CD never disappoints. Music was great, service was great, food was great! Came before UNLV Basketball 🏀 Game, so convenient.
Italian grinder and French dip. Can’t go wrong with these
Comfortable atmosphere with lots of entertainment. Loud enough to hear, but not too loud where you can't have a conversation. Loved the fondue pretzel appetizer. A must try! The food was tasty and reasonable. The service was very slow and needs some work.
Paisley, the waiter, was fantastic. He helped with his recommendations. Going back again this Friday. Going to aks for Paisley again too.
Every time we have been there it has been AMAZING. Absolutely love everything there. Our go to place to eat
Being from the south you never know what you are going to get but hands down some of the best food I have eaten in Vegas. Have been here for 11 years and I have to put this up in the tipy-top. I stay away from fried foods but heard so much about their fried chicken I had to try it. GREAT!! Can't wait to go back.
The music was fantastic. They had violence and the cello
We enjoyed Culinary Dropout very much. The room is dark and hip, the live violinists were a nice surprise, but the service was the best part. Our server Gina was just the sweetest, walking us through the menu, offering her favorites choices, and laughing at our nonsense. The charcuterie board was seriously on point. Cheese, great meats, and bread baked in house that is literally the best carb I’ve ever tasted. The muscles were good, but again, it was served with the platinum bread to dip in the sauce. All in all, was a great experience and would definitely go back.
Really cool spot with an awesome environment and space. Had brunch food and it was fantastic with great breakfast cocktails!
Great food, drinks, and service. Interesting twists on classic comfort food. Bacon Bloody Mary highly recommended.
