Culinary Dropout Ratings and Reviews
Being from the south you never know what you are going to get but hands down some of the best food I have eaten in Vegas. Have been here for 11 years and I have to put this up in the tipy-top. I stay away from fried foods but heard so much about their fried chicken I had to try it. GREAT!! Can't wait to go back.
We enjoyed Culinary Dropout very much. The room is dark and hip, the live violinists were a nice surprise, but the service was the best part. Our server Gina was just the sweetest, walking us through the menu, offering her favorites choices, and laughing at our nonsense. The charcuterie board was seriously on point. Cheese, great meats, and bread baked in house that is literally the best carb I’ve ever tasted. The muscles were good, but again, it was served with the platinum bread to dip in the sauce. All in all, was a great experience and would definitely go back.
Culinary Dropout is located inside the Hard Rock Casino. The food is really yummy, and the portions are nice. It is a casino, so it's not cheap, but it is reasonable. The only issue is the noise...inside the actual place can be deafening (and I am a rocker, so loud doesn't bother me, but this is "Can barely have a conversation" loud). The outside area is still loud, but it is much better, and the couches are super comfy to chill on with friends. I have been here three times now, and it is always good service, good drinks, and good food...give it a try!
I was a little dissapointed with the options for gluten free people. Then when I ordered something the waiter let me know that the were out of it. It was a bit dissapointing not to be able to have anything other that a plate of goat cheese with fries. The waiter was kind. Our group came in seperate groups just to get to gether and put all of our bills together which was a pain to slipt when around 300$ next time ask up front if we want to split checks automatic tip was still fine but with haveing other friends join us in the middle of meal and and not be split checks was a nightmare
We had an excellent experience!! Our server, Ben?, was super attentive and made sure that my food accommodated my food allergies. We all enjoyed our meal and drinks very much!! We would come back and recommend!! The only thing was the music was a little too loud, hard to talk over. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic!!
The restaurant was pretty good, it's part of a chain that always seems to be consistent. The server was excellent, very personable and engaging to us and others at tables around us. The only issue was although we had a reservation for 6:30, when we showed up at 6:20 we were told were early and it would be a few minutes . . . 10 min early? Too soon? So we waited 10 min and got in at that time - only to find there was plenty of room in both the inside part and the outdoor deck. They were also telling people there would be a 20 to 30 min wait. Most just left . . . not necessary at all. Management might want to review the front staff to see what's going on. Losing customers needlessly.
My daughter and I were in Las Vegas for a mother/daughter weekend. We made a reservation at the Culinary Dropout. The food was amazing!!! We created an antipasti board that was so delicious. The prosciutto deviled eggs were the BEST I have ever tasted. You have to order the soft pretzels & provolone fondue...this is a must have. Just a hint, the restaurant will let you order 1/2 an order of the soft pretzels if you are a party of two. I would highly recommend that you take the time to eat at the Culinary Dropout. The staff are friendly, attentive and fun.
Was our first time here and it was wonderful! We really enjoy going out to brunch and we wanted someplace new. Their food and drink options did not disappoint. Their charcuterie options were amazing and so were their pierogies! We all loved the indoor/outdoor seating arrangements; plenty of space between tables. Gary took great care of us and we are looking forward to coming back!
Had a great time as a solo diner. My server was professional, relaxed, anticipated my needs, explained the menu with out trying to get me to order the most expensive items.
The live music was fantastic.
My only dislike, and was my own fault, I asked if there was seating outside. There was loud music from near the Joint. Lots of bass.
Great Value. Amazing food! Will be back!
It was a wonderful experience. Great for Sunday Night Football in which was on the Big screens. Awesome Decor. The customer service was outstanding. The food was amazing. Different variety of entrees that are dynamite! I will definitely be back again and again.
This was my second time to The Culinary Dropout in Vegas. The "yesterday's soup" was tasty and the Burger was good as well. The atmosphere was a little too loud to enjoy a conversation. However it was good seeing people enjoying themselves. The service was good as well
The staff was super attentive there was great live music!
There was a pretty drunk patron there that kept trying to talk to us, the staff made sure to check in on us and see if we were being bothered. The staff was fantastic and we felt really supported. Would definitely go back!
Chain restaurant that does not compromise on quality. There's a few of these in Arizona and they're amazing. This particular restaurant works well because of its location at the Hard Rock. This restaurant is definitely best for a night out with friends or a lively date night.
2nd time in to the CD here in Vegas and it did not disappoint! While the service was a little slow at times, it was very friendly and fun (Sandy was great!). Our food was fantastic all the way around, from the Fried Chicken (some of the best I have eaten!) to the Ravioli, our group of 10 really enjoyed it and we would definitely come back again!
Phenomenal! Great food and drinks. We celebrated a bachelorette dinner before a show and it was perfect. Our waitress made sure we got out on time and made suggestions. The music was great and the appetizers we ordered had a neat twist to them. Great experience and I will deinfitely return!
Amazing drinks, fabulous food: must try fried chicken, best we have ever had. Monkey bread was a delicious ending to a wonderful menu. We were in Vegas and tried this because we saw it on our tourist channel and it was the best place all around that we ate at. The service was top notch, felt very welcome and never had a dry glass or any question left unanswered. Couldn't say enough good things about this place. Would recommend this over and over.
Culinary Dropout serves elevated bar food. They have pretty good service. Our server was attentive and when I told her that we need to be in and out in an hour, she was on top of it. The appetizers and entrees came out quick. I must say, the pork ribs are so addicting! Good flavor and just falls off the bone. Potato chips and Korean ribeye were also delish but nothing special.
