I took my husband to dinner here for his birthday. It was perfect. He loved the live music, the food was amazing and our waitress could not have been more sweet and on top of things. If you want a quiet romantic place to have a deep conversation this isn't for you... but if you are looking for a fun night out with some yummy food, it's worth it.

The music was great for a Friday night. The nervous was great and the apps were awesome. I noticed multiple staff running drinks so no one waited long.

Perfectly cooked yet overpriced and salty salmon. Chosen only because trout was not available. Restaurant highly recommended by friend but I can not recommend.

Great. Location great, food quality very good. Service was disappointing. Service was slow. Had to ask multiple times for bill. She was nice, just did not seem to care about how long it took her to take the order, to check on empty glasses, or bring the bill.

The evening got started off wrong when the hostess was just incredibly slow and had a restaurant half empty but no place to seat us for our confirmed reservation. It took forever to get our salads. They ended up being delivered with our sandwich. By the time we finished our salads the sandwich had gotten cold. Better places to eat in Phoenix/Scottsdale.

Good food, excellent ribs! Very noisy, hard to hear much of anything other than the recorded music played quite loud (before the band). Service was ok. Small bar for the size of restaurant, seating very limited. Nice ambiance otherwise.

Food was tasty, live music was good but impossible to carry on any kind of conversation. Too loud! We had reservation at 7:15 and was extremely loud from the get go-didn’t wait for later in the evening to ramp up the noise! Had to leave earlier then anticipated because of noise level.

I came here for lunch on monday and just had too cook be back for dinner on friday. Their new pork verde stew was a surpise as the soup on monday and a full on entree on friday.

My only issue was the we waited a long while for our table. The table we were given sat unused for 15minutes before we were sat. I understand the concept of staggered seating so no one gets slammed. But i always would prefer to be seated and be told service will be a few minutes rathwr than standing outside the restaurant.

The restuarant had good reviews which were confirmed by some locals we asked (we were on vacation). Cocktails were good. got the Drunken Panda. order it as your first drink because its A BIG drink. food was very good with generous portions. nice location and atmosphere. Wil go there again next time I'm in Scottsdale.

Reservation honored on time and sat us where we requested; even raised the lighting which was too dim to see menu. Food was delicious; recommend the Rainbow Trout & Grilled Cheese Sliders. Don't live in the area but coming back next year and would definitely revisit. Anna was an outstanding server; very accommodating on every level.

We celebrated my fiancé’s 30th birthday at CD. They were great to work with especially since we increased our party of 11 to 15 the day before. Drinks, food, service, and the band were amazing.

We have had our eye on this place for several years and never visited until now. We are sorry we didn’t come sooner. The venue is dark yet light enough you can read the menus without any assistance, the vibe is energetic and they have live music a bunch of days a week, for sure on the weekends.

They have lots of very large tables either for large, large groups or you’re you would sit communal style next to other folks.

The first night we sat in the back corner because we had a reservation through open table and didn’t think of sitting at the bar. We returned the next night to watch the World Series game and sat at the bar after seeing how large it was and how many TVs were there for easy viewing.

Our first visit was on a Friday and they must not of had enough bartenders because our second round of beverages took a long time to come to the table.

The second night we sat at the bar and very much enjoyed watching the four bartenders working in sync.

The 36 hour ribs are good, but if you are a real rib aficionado I wouldn’t recommend them because they are cooked sous vide before and then reheat it on the grill which makes the edges crispy and dry and it also always has that slightly warmed over flavor when a red meat is cooled and then reheated.

The Thai wings were fantastic the first night – somewhat crispy, with lots of sauce and the littke bits of fried crispies that they place on them. They are going off the menu so if you were planning to go soon try them!

The sweet corn ravioli was very good with a broth I wish they had served with a spoon it was so tasty. The server recommended adding sautéed shrimp or chicken and I went with the shrimp. It was a perfect peering. For a six dollar up charge it was about 13 medium-size shrimp. A good value.

We also had the Korean style chicken and shrimp skewer. It tasted somewhat like the Thai wings but was delicious.

Waitress was pleasant and very attentive. Thankfully, we sat on the patio where we could carry on a conversation. In the restaurant the noise level was extremely loud. The pretzel bites are to die for!!!

Table wasn't ready at reservation time kept getting text that table was ready when it wasn't. Some what irritating when they tell you it's ready 3 times and it's not. Food was average at best and came out late. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I was honestly disappointed in the fish and chips. Not only was there 0 creativity or originality in the dish it was basically flavorless. My date did enjoy her tacos although I thought that the chipotle was overpowering rendering the slaw useless. I do enjoy the location though.

We had heard good things about Culinary Dropout, but our experience was very mediocre. We were seated almost 30 minutes after our reservation (reservation was at 8:45). We had the pretzel balls with fondue, which were quite good. Our meals didn't come until almost 10:30, so we didn't leave the restaurant until after 11. We waited a long time for food that was good, but not outstanding.
