Ana is the best of the best
Sandwich and side salad was quite small for price especially given that quality and taste was nothing exceptional.
Average restaurant. Hip spot for the 20-30 set. Average food and the service was just fair
Great menu and great food. The issue is the sound. It is so incredibly loud throughout the restaurant that you cannot hear the person beside you. After a short time, you just feel like your ears are bleeding due to the constant high volume from either the music over their sound system or the live band (in the small space). Sadly, this takes it off our list for a do again, especially with a group.
Efficient service and great food! everything was perfect!
Loved this place! Best salad I’ve ever had! It was the kale with salmon. Mmmm!
The place was pretty crowded and noisy. Not the place to go for quiet conversation but the music duo playing that night were great so it was fine.
Would go back!
Fried chicken for dinner was good but mashed potatoes were thin & gravy tasteless.
Great food and service. I was very impressed as this was my first time here. I can’t wait until the new one opens closer to us in Gilbert!
This was a fun loud place. Decor was cute and fun. The food was just ok. We had the pretzel fondue which was great. The fried Chechen had been raved about and it was good just not great. Kale salad and tuna salads were good but not out of this world. Lot of groups of young people. So if you are looking for a hip happening place, this works. Not a foodie dining experience.
Another outstanding experience - food, and especially service, is always awesome.
Food was good as always. The restaurant is dark where we were sitting so it was hard to see our food!!! It is noisy. Our server was terrific!!
The food was great from meets and cheese to salads and ribs!
Was a crazy Saturday evening, having a reservation ensured quick seating. Special requests were well managed and spot on. Great service...good apps and entrees...nice bar options. Good time!
Thanks for ruining my evening!! I made reservations 2 weeks ahead of time my my parents who were in town and celebrating a birthday. I had 6:15 reservations and arrived at 6:05. After waiting we were seated in the blazing sun outside!! My parents are in their 80s. I asked to sit inside and after sitting in the sun a young girl came out and said there is no seating inside..(we counted 9 tables empty) and then said its first come first serve? I asked why did I make a reservation? How do I make a reservation online and choose INSIDE!! She told me I had to call? REALLY?? Your food is NOT that good! I would suggest you get a host/hostess that is a adult and knows proper etiquette and customer care. The young girls could care less about the customer... after all they watched us get up and leave! I have already relayed this serve to everybody at my condo complex and for last 2 days been telling everybody I know as well as leaving TERRIBLE reviews. I love your food but will never set foot in that place again!! THANK YOU for ruining a evening... get a adult at the hottest booth and have the young girls waitressing or busing tables... they have no experience and no business at that position. That all goes back to bad bad management!
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We will be back the next time we are in town.
I love the Culinary Dropout, the Fried Chicken is FABULOUS! My only complaint is we had a 6pm dinner reservation and then start playing live music at 6:30 or 7, and it's just too loud to have a conversation with your guests. If the would just start the music a little later, maybe 8, that would be a lot better in my opinion.
Ordered the soup for an appetizer and it was served cold. Main course was good, and service was fine
The food was really good; the person who took our order was delightful...cute personality. Our first course was onion soup which was very tasty; when our main course was served the bowls from our soup were never removed from the table but were left there through our entire meal. We ate outside around five o'clock and and as the sun went down we asked if someone would be able to move an umbrella to block the sun....no one was able to figure out how to do this so we ate most of our meal with the sun baking down on us. When the bill came we notice that we were charged for an extra sangria so the bill had to go back to be reissued. I'll give The Culinary Dropout a good review for the presentation and flavor of the food but now such a good review on customer service
Meh. The food was really average at best. Not impressed.
Went here for Easter Brunch. Loved the outdoor seating, but the inside, open to the outside, has a great vibe. Everything here is excellent! Way too many carbs...our fault, not theirs....but it all looked and sounded so good!! Only downside was that they were training a new bartender and my drink did not arrive until after everyone else at the table had already finished a round of drinks. The manager brought me my drink and comped it. I really wish we had one of these near us!!
I have to admit I was not sure what to expect, I am usually not a fan of loud eatery’s but was super impressed.
Host: We did an open table reservation for 7:15 checked in at 7:18 and they had us seated by 7:22. I felt bad a couple came in Friday night and the hostess said the earliest was a 9:15 reservation, make sure you make a reservation.
Antipasta: We got the Brussel Spouts - A+ absolutely Delicious
We also got the Prosciutto Deviled eggs, they were good just not great. We also got the Beets which were very flavorful and were a big hit.
Dinner: we split the fried chicken, It was very good, juicy on the inside and a great crunchy exterior we had plenty of food for our split.
Desert: Banana Cream Pie we ate it all the caramel and cinnamon were a hit, It was very good but I will still probably try something different next time.
People: They were some of the nicest servers and hostess really made an awesome night.
Entertainment: the live band was very good a little loud for my taste but impressive playing.
The menu offers a little bit of everything - and everything we tried was great. Nice cocktail, beer and wine offerings. We were seated inside this time - in a very comfy booth. Our only complaint is that it was very noisy - my daughter and I had to practically shout at each other across the table to hear each other. Our server was great.
This is the second time I’ve had a less than impressive experience. Although it was 4 pm ish and the restaurant was practically empty, they didn’t create our antipasti order. At all. The waitress was nice enough but MIA much of the time and the food we did get, though good, was not stellar.
Way too loud and unimpressive menu. We were suppose to get excited for pretzels and cheese whiz.
Service was excellent. Great table. Good food. Band was WAY too loud for a Thursday night. Couldn’t hear any conversation.
We had reservations for a table but opted to stay and have dinner at the bar. The food was delicious. However we were basically ignored by the multiple bartenders more focused on their personal relationships than understanding their clients. We had to ask multiple times for a glass of wine. When the wine arrived one of the glasses had debris and we needed to inform the bartender of receiving a new glass of wine. Additionally, there was no “thank you” or discussion of their appreciation of us being there, Please keep in mind that I am a big fan of this restaurant. But the bartenders at least tonight were at best a C minus. Seriously disappointed.
Unique setting and atmosphere. Good service. Good food. Liked the location of the restaurant.
Terrific food, great service. Excellent birthday dinner!!
We really enjoyed this place on our vacation. It did not disappoint. Wonderful
Was visiting first time from Overland Park, KS. Our concierge referred us. Loved the ambiance & lively bar area. Pretzel bites a must!! Cocktails /wine great!! Our waitress great service!
Entrees were good but the cheese fondue that came with the pretzel appetizer was not hot - it was cool and had a "skin" on top as if it had been sitting out too long. I mentioned my husband's birthday at time of reservation, however it wasn't acknowledged and I didn't push it. Ice tea wasn't refilled.
Great spot. Had a DJ playing hip hop while we ate & the food was exceptional. The pretzels & fondu provolone is a must. Friendly staff & a great experience. Looking forward to next time.
Dave’s Birthday so three of us celebrated, and had a great time. Service was superb, food excellent and ambiance great. Will return for sure. Thanks!
Overall the food was good and drinks were well made. Service was good. Waitress was attentive to our needs. We were seated within minutes of our arrival. Good thing we had reservations. Only drawback was that it was too noisy. We had to sit next to each other and talk into one another’s ear to hear each other.
Server was not attentive, took way to long to get drinks and food.
Amazing all the way around!
Excellent over-all experience! Service was good, food was Great and it was a BEAUTIFUL day to sit outside and enjoy Arizona weather!
