PARKING SUCKS!! If your willing to pay for Valet your in good shape. If not Avoid this place unless you don't mind walking. The adjacent parking lot (limited spaces due to construction) was already full when we arrived at 5:00. Street Parking was full also. Had to park over a block and a half away and walk back to restaurant.
We had a reservation @ 5 pm and part of the staff was in a "meeting" so we got seated 20 minutes later.
Food was greasy and not what you would expect. Wine was undrinkable - vinegar
Ambiance was nice.
Our server was awesome! Great value in the AZ Restaurant Week menu. Never been disappointed here!!
Excellent food with outstanding service. Our server made great recommendations, and was attentive, courteous and prompt. We will definitely be back again soon!
Wonderful brunch, only the best ingredients, everything was delicious, super friendly service and upbeat atmosphere!
The food, ambiance, prices and service was great !
We were 5 girls out for ladies night. Starting with drinks and dinner and ending with Hamilton
Waitress was great. Valet parking very valuable.
Loved the customer service host was awesome food was great 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Good food. We made reservations at 545 because we had plans at 730. We did not get sat until after 6 pm and did not get out food until 7. We were almost late for our show because we were not sat on time. What is the point of a reserving a table at a certain time if it wont be ready for over 20 mins? It took 40 mins to even got our food. Wouldn't recommend.
Came here before ASU game
We enjoyed our first time here. The ambience is nice, the food tasted amazing. Only thing that was kinda lame is the prices on the charcuterie (antipasta) boards… the prosciutto deviled eggs were so good but they only give you literally 1 egg and a half lol. Probably could add a little more strawberries too with the Brie. Other than that I’d definitely go back there :-)
Fast service….added a meal to go at the end…I even changed the reservation and they were cool with that. No wait time. Delicious!
Love this place, we are from MT and every time we go somewhere with a Culinary dropout we go for dinner!
It was so great the food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Our server Jacob was above and beyond.
We got placed in a corner table outside where there were no fans or misters so it got pretty warm. We ordered the pretzels and cheese which we usually love getting but this time the pretzels were very stale and hard to chew. I ordered the pub burger and it was pretty disappointing. I ordered it medium rare but the meat was very dry, had no no flavor, and was pretty brown so I was kinda upset. The servers and atmosphere were nice but I probably won’t be coming back to this location.
Anniversary dinner! So fun!
We were on a family vacation with the kids and had an adult date night away with just the parents (4 of us) after reading reviews we landed on culinary dropout and made a reservation. Table was ready when we showed up 10 min early, nice thank you but that’s were it ended. Ordered drinks first, and took atleast 10 min (whatever I know) but then ordered a side salad and pretzel bites…. Drank our drinks and waited and waited thennnnn waited to finally order a second round. As we order our second round of drinks our main courses show up THEN our appetizers minutes later. The pretzel bites were undercooked and basically raw bread (the cheese was bomb tho) lasagna and fish/Chips were good but the prime rib dip (literally didnt look like prime rib) was gross, very soggy, too much Mayo, hardly any cheese and just meh. The even more frustrating part is literally 15 min AFTER we ate and another kid came by and cleaned our table our waiter came by and asked if got our food and asked if we liked it……ummm yeaaa we’re good:/ We did end up getting the brownie dessert which was good but yet again took WAY too long so the ice cream was all melted. Overall just really disappointed in culinary dropout, we looked forward to our date night all vacation and really just left with a sour taste in our mouth.
It was our servers first night and he did amazing. The food was great. We’ll definitely be back!
Delicious food & live music made for a great experience!
Love the sangria!!
Delicious food, friendly and professional service by Garrett, attractive setting = all around wonderful.
Made reservations two weeks in advance and when we showed up, they sat us on the open air back last. 103° that day, they said they were turned on the misters. They never did. I had to complain to our server that I felt we were just moved to the back to make way for someone else that got to enjoy air conditioning and live music in the main dining room. I felt a bit slighted, food was good service was OK, but didn’t enjoy sitting in the heat even after making reservations well in advance.
First and foremost our server Keana was exceptional. She made great suggestions, was always there just when we needed her and of course was very professional. We love her willingness to provide just about anything we wanted to make to our tastes within what they had on the menu.
I believe their Fried Chicken might be the best I have ever had, and the Monkey Bread as a great suggestion that we really enjoyed.
If you choose to go, ask to be in Keanna's section, and definitely order the Fried Chicken.
Great ambience, awesome food, and consistently good service
We were seated in the “extra” dining room. No ambiance. VERY noisy. Not fun at all. Felt like we were at the kid’s table at Thanksgiving.
Sip was with a waitress god I am sorry I can’t recall her name. He was training with her and I asked about cider they both suggested two types and they were amazing! As for my meal the young lady suggested the skirt steak OMG!! She was totally right awesome flavor. My friend had the ribs mouthwatering!
Both of them were spot on and on the “A” game!! Bravo 👏
Food was good, service was great, overall super cute place.
It was my sons bday. We had a reservation. They put us off due to having to add one guest. My son brought a friend last minute. They said 10 minutes. After a long wait my husband went up. They seated a big group at a nice table and chairs, they didn’t even fill it. They gave us a high top by the bar. Weird since my kids range in ages from 13,16,19,20. Should’ve been the other way around. The first large catering dining room was open too. Not sure what was going on. They did not clear appetizer dishes prior to bringing dinners which on a narrow high top is tricky. Getting drink and water refills was challenging as well as our bill. My son was told he would be given a free bday dessert. Never happened. Terrible service. Great band.
We absolutely love CD at the Yard! What a funtastic/fantastic place. I’ve been to other locations and this one is my favorite by far! Very clean! Very nice employees. The atmosphere was awesome. The vibrant of the place was just great. Overall, A+!
Food and service were great. Very accommodating servers and hostesses. We took our mother for a birthday lunch and it wasn't a great fit for an older person with some health limitations. The chairs were difficult to get in and out of. We asked the hostess for some rearranging and they were wonderful in accommodating.
There was a live musician playing - very well in fact - but the sound system was cranked up so loud that we could not carry on a conversation.
We had a very nice time and we'll be back, but we will be more mindful that it's not a relaxed, sedate environment. There's a time and place for all different types of vibes and it just didn't quite work for a our situation.
Ambiance service and food were all outstanding
It was an amazing place! Wish I lived in the area, I would go there often!
Bartenders were fantastic. Ended up staying at the bar rather than getting the table we reserved
I do not like the menu options as much as when I first discovered this restaurant 3years ago. Also, the portions appear to have shrunk some
Perfect place for all ages. Food was excellent! I loved my IPA- church music. You must order the pretzel bites! Love this location as well, close to my daughters form at ASU.
• Friendly, fun, upbeat staff.
• Food is tasty. Not your same old, same old. New flavor parings. Mmm!
• High quality ingredients.
• Restrooms are a real hoot!
Singer was too loud. Had to shout to hear a conversation.
Good food and service
