   Decided to try after reading all the positive reviews. They lived up to their reputation. Very busy for a Thursday evening, however our waiter was on point. Food was amazing!!! Started with the pretzel bites with provolone dip which was life changing. Steak and truffle frites, beef dip and turkey sandwich continued to impress. Highly recommended and definitely returning again.

    Was there to celebrate a birthday. We were a party of 8. Waitress came by twice and then was a no show for the remainder of the evening. Some appetizers were not rung in and forgotten. Management tried to rectify by jumping in, but overall a bad experience. Will not be back.

    Was busy. Certain things took a while to come to the table. Mostly drinks. The food was really good. Try the deviled eggs, gochujang brussels and the flannel season drink. All bangers. Katsu chicken sandwich was good. Fall ravioli too.

    Four of us came for brunch on a Saturday. The server was friendly and welcoming and gave helpful info on menu choices. Our meals were delicious, especially the southwestern hash and the butternut squash and kale salad. Beer and cocktail choices were great. We sat indoors, where the noise level required that we raise our voices; next time I’d ask to sit on the terrace. Note that parking is valet only. The system is free and avoids congestion in the lot, plus it puts arriving guests right at the entrance to the restaurant. But be aware that a cash tip will be expected.

    The food was great, the portions generous and the ambiance was fun! The friend chicken and turkey pastrami were both delicious, the monkey bread dessert was warm and gooey goodness and the pretzel fondue is a MUST!

    Terrible service…every time! Second time here and I want to like it more, but it’s slow service, never clear the table, incorrect orders, no compensation for mistakes and unenjoyable how loud it is, on both the outside/inside. Not worth the hype.

    Fun date night spot - sat outside but the heaters kept us warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed the wedge salad, and split the Mac burger. The chef split it into two portions for us as well. Recommend!

    Service was bad. We had to wait for most things especially drinks. We had to ask for most things instead of being offered ahead of time (small plates, straws). We had a great table in the front of the restaurant but left feeling very disappointed about our experience.

    Good reviews had us coming here but it wasn’t what we expected. There was a smell of cooking grease in the air that I could not get over. Chicken seemed like a production line and tasted like it had sat under a warming light for a while before we got it. Service was terrific and seemed like a fun atmosphere.

    Took server quite a while to get to our table. Wanted to take our drink orders and food order all at once. No cutlery on table until our meals came & we had to snatch it from another table ( we asked) The salmon bowl came with burnt Brussels sprouts. The whole meal very small in portion for the price tasted burnt. I had to flag someone down to tell him about my meal. I then ordered another type of meal (figured it would again be burnt tasting) Meal came from another person… not original waitress. 2nd meal was better. Manager did come over however, we literally never saw the waitress again until she brought the bill😏

    Our party got really luck with a normal height table for six, outside and right near the gaming area. We a great evening with the kids. Plus, everyone enjoyed their food and beer.

    This was my very first experience at Culinary Dropout-Phoenix I usually visit their Gilbert location. The layout of this Dropout is a little different but by no means bad, it has a more open concept. It was the same great food and service as the Gilbert location. Only downside is you are practically forced to use their Valet service given the very very limited parking options so make sure to bring cash! Great Date spot!

    Food and atmosphere is always amazing here and other Fox restaurants. Sadly the service was just bad, once we were seated we waited about 10-15 minutes before our server said hi and after that it’s seemed like we had to flag her down to order anything. After we finished eating she dropped of the check and never came back. About 30 minutes after the check was dropped a different server noticed we were waiting and took care of it her self. I would say our server left but we watched her talk to other employees and walk around the entire restaurant. Love this place and it does make me sad to write a bad review.

    Everything went great! Got there & got greeted with great valet parking, the guys were so caring and friendly, checked in for reservations, our hostess handed me a rose in honor of Valentine’s Day. Our waiter was amazing , he was checking up on us frequently and offered moderations to our food. Our food was AMAZING. Great prices too. Absolutely recommend for a date night as well as any other event !

    Two girlfriends and I went to the Yard on Superbowl Sunday to catch the game. We were expecting chaos and we’re pleasantly surprised! The wait staff was friendly, diligent, and overall above par. The food and drinks came in a very timely fashion, which we were also impressed by. The cocktail menu and beers on draft were all tasty, we even tried their beer in a bag deal! The perfect place for a sports bar-free Superbowl experience and getting together with friends.

    My husband and I were very excited to spend our birthdays together and we added this to the notes. The purpose of celebration was never brought up, nor was a complimentary dessert offered. As we have celebrated multiple occasions at a Culinary Dropout, we know that this is an offer. The service was slower than usual where we waited 10-15 for our drinks, while tables around us received their drinks before us even though they were seated after. Our table ordered from the CD kitchen and Flybye. We were aware that the food would be brought at different time. However on top of the food ordered from Flybye taking longer, it was prepared incorrectly. This is the first time food was prepared incorrectly for us. In the past when we waited for a prolonged period of time for other food, a manager checked in and apologized. Our waitress seemed to have lacked support and training for waiting tables as she checked in with us 50% of the normal amount of times. Once the food was all prepared correctly, everyone enjoyed their food. The drinks were 7/10, and the service was an overall 5/10.

    We had family coming from out of town. We had reservations for 5:45. Everyone was very friendly and service was great. Having a mixed group in ages, the games made everything more fun and enjoyable. Also keeping young adults engaged with one another and not on their phones. We will definitely be back.
