Everyone was terrific! Julianna took great care of us & we had a wonderful time. The food was spot-on, & the drinks were worth every penny.
Food is always mediocre and so over-priced. Drinks are good though.
Awesome space! Will definitely be back!
Party of 5. Three of us were served our meals. Twenty minutes later I had to "flag down" our server and point out the obvious "two in our party still have not been served". Thirty three minutes after the first three meals were delivered, the staff finally brought our table the other two minutes. NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR ANY RESTAURANT, ESPECIALLY A SAM FOX RESTAURANT.
The pictures of the food looked really good on the website but the food we were given didn’t look anything like those pictures. The nachos looked like something you could get at a Quicky Mart. The fish and chips were very greasy. So the food wasn’t that great.
We wanted to play ping pong but there was only one set of paddles and one ball. They had four tables so we were unable to play, even though it was not crowded. I would not go back.
Fun atmosphere, a little loud but not unbearable, food is very good, pretty rib dip was awesome, good fries, salad was excellent, mac burger was just average nothing special. Would not get a burger next time
Pretzels and fondue are as good as ever - but most other things weren’t quite right. Salads were over dressed - Brussels sprouts were charred beyond taste. Service was very good but it was right when it opened so not busy yet.
We ended up sitting at the bar and our bartender was lovely, Day shift of Monday the 26th. We were talking and not ordering much and she was sweet and gracious and knew exactly when to check in on us, a true hospitality professional. Brie with strawberries and asparagus also delicious, thanks for a great experience guys.
There's a quality selection for almost anyone's preference. My wife, a vegetarian, loves the vegan curry. I also enjoyed the meatloaf and many other selections here. A great shareable, although you'll want them all to yourself, are the pretzel rolls with fondue cheese (the best I've ever had). And the atmosphere included a live DJ for a Saturday night starting around 8PM. This is a relax with your company place. So come, eat, relax, and take the time to enjoy yourself. We brought our young kids, so we should have gotten a table to take advantage of the Yard space. Next time I'll have to look to see if there's space in the OpenTable reservation to make this request.
We really enjoy coming there and eating in the yard. We were a little concerned with the new Delta strain of Covid out there that we did not see the staff in masks. I think its is important to continue to masks up to protect everyone weather you are vaccinated or not.
Fun place with great food. Attentive valet. Servers are young and a less attentive than I’d like but still friendly and fun.
Very lively, fun place for dinner. Excellent location to people watch as the staff and clientele are distinctively not the stuffy Scottsdale types we’ve experienced this trip. Food was good, beer was cold, music was loud but enjoyable. A bit of a younger crowd here so keep that in mind. Overall, a fun time with good food
Did an after work meet up here and did 2 apps and a dessert. The food was good and enough for 2 people. We both had a cocktail and it was just as boozy as we needed after a rough week.
First, I made a reservation through Opentable and specified an inside table as it tends to be warm out on the patio despite the misters system. We were told upon arrival that there were none available and they had moved us outside. We were with four kids so we didn't really want to make an issue of it because they wanted to play corn hole. That started the evening. I am sure whether it was the noise level that inhibited our server's ability to understand that we all wanted our entrees to arrive simultaneously (she had explained to us the fried chicken took a little longer than the others and we told her that we would prefer for one person not to be sitting food-less while the others ate), but we had to explain the concept to her four times. One of the orders when it came out was completely wrong which was even further indicia that the server really had a great deal of difficulty either hearing or just not being very smart (she was, however, very nice). Then, I was unpleasantly surprised when there was a long hair in my salad that I extracted from my mouth and thereafter was totally grossed out. The manager came over and was very gracious, I must say, and took my salad and my beverage off the bill. I cannot fault the response. It was completely appropriate. I was, nonetheless skeeved-out. The place is fun but just beware that it has its issues sometimes.
The back corner had a strange smell. Booked a reservation and wasn’t able to pick where to sit.
It was way to loud - the service was very slow. Food was sub par.
We had a large party of about 28 people and Tiffany was able to accommodate everyone at the time and day we needed. Food was quick for what we ordered and staff and our waitress was exceptionally courteous!
Food is always good but the drink was meh. Jalapeno Margarita was too sour and needed a little more triple sec or sweetness.
Kevin was our server and had to cover the bar. He was extremely attentive and friendly. Chicken club was wonderfully fresh!
It was a bachelorette group that had reservations weeks in advance. The service was absolutely terrible. It was slow, the staff was impatient, rude and non existent for long periods of time. I wish we would have taken our party elsewhere. The valet was AMAZING and made the whole experience worth it. Aaron in valet deserves a gold star for service and a smiling face. Alexander in the restaurant should probably not be working there. He had the worst attitude and clearly did not enjoy his job. Multiple times we had to retrieve our drinks from the bar ourselves.
Great food, great atmosphere!
Great food, great energy, not the best place for conversation or an intimate date, but super fun for groups or for when you want more energy
First I will say my waiter Ruben was amazing the entire time! Celebrated my 40th bday with 11ppl n we all had so much fun! Looking to comeback in the fall. Wish we could have been inside but it was still tons of fun considering the weather! Thanks so much!
Met my son there for lunch. Wonderful time! Victoria (hostess) was very sweet & spot-on as to where to seat us. Chloe was super attentive, very funny, & very professional. Lovely time was had thanks to the staff, well- & my son, too. Oh, I met Chef Jackie. Amazing lady! She’s a genius!!!
Food was good but not great with the exception of the pretzels with the dip---super. Four of us at one small table could not hear each other at all and hat is a problem. Now that I know the parking at least I would know where to go into the lot for valet. There should be something other than valet though.
We made reservations, we were sat outside under the false pretense of misters/fans that did not reach the tables. It was horrible sitting outside, worst experience I’ve ever had.
my first experience was good. despite the mess i made at the table with my water , the waitress didn’t hesitate or get frustrated although i tried to fix my own mess. the food was amaze balls
Went there for brunch, I loved the atmosphere and was pretty quiet until the lunch rush. Amazing food and very friendly atmosphere. :)
When making a reservation make sure you call to be seated inside. No matter if you put on ur reservation standard seating instead of outside they will put you outside. Too hot in Az to be eating outside. When to busy they do not let u park they make u pay of valet. Food not the good for price. More of a place for drinking then eating. Overall bad experience with reservation. Also doesn't matter if u make a reservation for special occasions when they dont offer or do anything special for you.
This has been our favorite restaurant since we found the one in Las Vegas. This location in Phoenix never disappoints. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was so delicious. We all left in a food coma. Great place to bring out of towners.
We received subpar service at best. Despite having a reservation for an inside table, we were told we’d have to sit outside lest we wait 30 minutes. This very much felt like they were putting tables with kids outside as there were two tables sat outside, both with kids. Normally this would have been fine, but at 110°F the kids were struggling. When we pushed back and asked for one of the many open tables inside we were told they were being held for a later reservation. So apparently others reservations were more important than ours. Overall, service was slow but friendly and the food was good. My only disappointment was the treatment.
First time being there, it was a nice experience. Waitstaff was on point. Live band, that was nice as well
Lots of fun, great space but had to yell at each other to hear.
Service was a little slow. Food was great. Price for the food could have been a few dollars cheaper for the quantity.
The restaurant was so noisy as to be obnoxious. We could barely carry on a conversation with the person sitting next to us. While we would have stayed for dessert we needed to leave for some peace.
This was one of my favorite restaurants. This is my first time back since COVID. The pretzels were slightly stale and the kale in my salad was limp. It was not like this before. Hopefully they were just having a bad night.
Love this place! Great food & atmosphere. Accommodating to dietary needs. A must go when in the Phoenix area!!!
Service was in point.
The food and ambiance were great.
Sat in far back room away from main restaurant. Not sure if this was reason for service/food issues. Food was slow to come out and some was warm at best. Entrees came out at different times and none were better than average. We have always had good experience at multiple Culinary Dropout locations. This was definitely the worst experience. Manager did credit some of the bill to address issues.
Waitress was not great at all. Never cleaned up the table. Sat there with dirty plates while we tried to eat dessert. Nothing like eating a brownie with the smell of ketchup over powering the table. Our drinks were empty for 30 plus minutes.
This place was extremely kid friendly. I even emptied the complimentary valet service. The overall experience was amazing and I’ll definitely come back.
