Loved the ambience and the environment at the restaurant. The lights and plants made a pretty cool vibe and it was very spacious and relaxed. The service was great, our waitress was very patient with our indecisiveness lol and made sure we felt welcome! The food was pretty good. I thought the fried chicken was delicious but the only problem was the food was lukewarm when it got to our table and got cold very quickly. The drinks were refreshing and strong. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend!
Great casual dining with lots of open air.
I recommended the fried chicken to my friend who had never eaten here - he was polite about it - but it was so overcooked and dry that he went to a drive through afterward. I felt so bad.
Great place food is all from scratch. The ribs were to die for.
I’m not from the area so I didn’t know how big this place was. Super crowded/loud. Would have been great pre covid but not the best from a social distancing level
First time, loved it! Parking was a challenge but love this place
We had lunch with friends on the patio. We have just started feeling comfortable going to restaurants again. The Yard offered a perfect outdoor dining experience. The food and service were excellent as usual.
The tables were nicely spaced for social distancing and we felt safe in the environment.
We will be back!
Always love coming here! They helped make my birthday extra special :)
Took my date here and we both had a blast! Service was so good I tipped doubled the bill. Worth every penny!
Awesome food and atmosphere. Certainly would go again.
Such a fun place and atmosphere. The food and service were both excellent! Great overall experience. Will definitely recommend and be back.
Sam was our waiter. Awesome! Attentive, knowledgeable, funny and, although he was busy, he took the time to chat a bit with us. Definitely doesn’t crush under pressure. I used to be a shopper for a restaurant group. I know what to look for -now it’s subconscious- he passed with flying colors. His wine suggestion was spot-on as well.
The staff was timely and generous to seat us early. They were professional and went above and beyond to meet our needs.
Great service by Erika. Great food! Great drinks! All worth the price.
Great place go watch the game
The food and service at the restaurant was very good as usual, they really do a good job in those areas consistently - and although the tables appeared to be spaced 6ft apart, every table was seated with customers. This was my first time at a restaurant since March and I think I expected more distancing and/or every other table seated.
Great food, plenty to do while you wait. Definitely not a place for a quite meal.
Pricey for the amount of food but very good and excellent drinks
Love the food at Culinary Dropout- especially the pork belly nachos and pretzels! Always a good time sitting outside, having a drink and enjoying the vibe.
I like CD/The Yard and have been here many times. Good food and service, except on this last visit the food runners kept stopping at our table with orders that weren't ours. The pre-recorded music was a little too loud. Otherwise a good experience.
Sat us by street, little noisy. Need fans in that area also.
Wyatt was TERRIFIC! Very personable & knowledgeable. We typically frequent CD in Gilbert (where we live), but yours is close to GCU, where our son is a student. As a matter of fact, you just hired him! He’s very excited & so are we. We’ll definitely be regulars now... you know, if only to embarrass him. Haha. Seriously though- all locations are great. We recommend CD all the time. I am part of the GCU parent’s group. Before you hired my son, I was already recommending you to all the families bringing their students to school when they asked for a cool place to take their kid before leaving.
The food is always fabulous! Love the service. We really enjoyed our meal. I appreciate the operational changes they have made that made me feel so safe!
The food was very salty and everyone else had the same opinion of their meals. You can always add salt. Less would be better. Server brought my son 5 cocktails in 90 min. I was unaware. Not cool at all. Otherwise a good evening and the monkey bread was fantastic!
The fried chicken was a little over cooked as was the monkey bread.
Our party's food was delicious, like always! Service was great, felt welcomed. Enjoyed listening to the live band, too!
We enjoyed the restaurant. The fans and misters helped to make the outside seating comfortable. The service was great and the food was better than we remembered. We still felt that the music was just a bit too loud.
Food was awesome and service was excellent!
Quick service and delicious food… Very attentive staff
Great atmosphere and good food
Great! Love the nachos and pretzels. Atmosphere is always fun
Always enjoy going here but they could really dial down the Music - very difficult to have a conversation.
Server was new.. very nice but terrible. We waited forever to order drinks.. waited forever for the drinks.. waited forever to order more drinks.. it was bad.
Excellent experience. We return again and again.
We had a great time. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food was good. I really loved the Paloma Spritzer. It was very refreshing.
A variety of food and beverage options. Great outdoor space for activities that they have. They also have great music playing as well as a live band. Very fun environment for a great night out.
Great staff, food, and atmosphere. Keep it up! Thank you!!
We love the culinary dropout in Tucson , the one in phoenix the serving sizes where crazy little, the kids got
Like 3 fries on their meal , we asked for some nachos and they where literally 3 small pieces of meat , crazy to pay 14 dlls for nachos with no meat . Not coming back to this location.
We ordered fish with fries, and a burger with housemade potato chips. The burger and potato chips were outstanding - the fish however was not. The batter was thick and greasy. The fries were great! Wonderful service - we will come back. Always liked this spot for social dining.
Always a fantastic meal and great beer choices. Staff is fast and friendly always willing to help. 10/10 always recommend checking them out. Menu is perfectly diverse with something for everyone but small enough selection for each item to be executed perfectly.
