We love culinary Dropout and go often. Can’t wait for the new location at Scottsdale quarter
Incredible Food and friendly staff! Can’t wait to come back!
So loud we couldn’t have any conversation. Great concept and probably more fun for lunch. Good fried chicken.
For the first time definitely an experience and have planned to go back for multiple visits. The food is really good, drink recommendations were on point! The ambiance was relaxing very friendly and my husband loved the live music. Our daughter definitely enjoyed it as well !
The atmosphere is cool. The service is great, and the food is delicious!
Good fun and fun for out of town guests
Small menu but a nice variety of options. They didn't have flavored coffees or hot chocolate which might be nice for brunch and for those who dont drink regular coffee or tea. Food and service were great. Will definitely go back again.
We met our daughter’s boyfriend for the first time. We all had a great time. We’ll be back!
Culinary Dropout is a great dining experience. This was our first time going to the Phoenix location and it was a treat. As usual, the staff was awesome, efficient accommodating and friendly. The food was good and the menu has something tasty for everyone. In this location, the men's and women's restrooms have a common entry and hand washing area (you go through another door to get to the toileting area)--this is kinda strange but fits with the vibe. if you're in The Yard area, the ambient noise is loud but doesn't make you have to yell in order to have a conversation.
Out side of taking 25 minutes to get a server to our table on the patio, everything was great.
The server was great at leading us into their tastiest, most popular dishes. We’ve never been there, so we appreciated the guidance. The fried chicken was incredible and the biscuit was rich enough to serve as dessert. We really enjoyed it. Fun atmosphere.
Great place and good food.
Great holiday meal deal. Food was top notch! Great table, hostess was efficient. Waitress had difficulty with order, probably because the noise level was so loud she couldn't hear us.
New Year’s Eve.
I love this place..............................................................................
Always delivers. Amazing how friendly a staff can be especially when the place is busy.
Was there with two small kids and things just flowed perfect.
Love this place. Love the team. Love the food.
Service was terrible that night. The drinks we ordered were given to us incorrectly twice, and the third time mine tasted terrible and it was just a simple bourbon with club soda and a lime.
Food was decent. Atmosphere was loud but I knew that going in based on other reviews. Price was expensive based on what I believe was the quality and quantity. Had a couple drinks as well but for three of us (1 kid -12 yrs old) with tip was $185
Too loud cannot hold a conversation
22 year reunion with old friends. The overall experience of the perfect!
Fantastic food, everything I ate and drank was completely out of the ordinary— in a good way! Their menu items are so unique and so much is made in house! I really loved the atmosphere. You must try their soft pretzels, vegan spicy curry and the spiked dove cocktail! So perfectly delicious. Also random, their bbq sauce is out of this world !!!!!!
Came in on Christmas Eve for a casual experience and received the most amazing service from our waitress. Very accommodating to our family member who has food allergies. Will definitely be coming back!
Food was terrible service was terrible ambulances phone
It was great! Food was excellent!
We really liked the place but it was very loud and hard to visit. The service and food were fabulous!
Great food, as always. Service and staff were great as well
Excellent food and value and service were both good. The atmosphere is pretty good but all of the open area and hard surfaces make the noise level an issue. Would certainly go back.
Usually we have a very enjoyable time there. However, on 12/13 we had a 615 reservation. We were seated in 5 minutes, no problems. However 40 minutes went by before I finally went to ask the hostess to send a waiter. Eventually we all ordered. 40 mins later the food came. That is when they told one of my guests they could not make her food because they did not have the ingredients. 3 of us ordered fish and chips. 2 were glorious, but my own was half size, with burnt french fries. It was a frustrating celebration of my daughter's college graduation. I like this restaurant but this visit was very disappointing.
Awesome as usual. Professional servers, incredible barkeeps and smiling wonderful Hosts.
Great place to go for a laid-back Sunday brunch. The food selection was great. Our party included vegans, healthy eaters and carnivors and there was something for all. I highly recommend.
We had a good time and good food. Just a little loud to hold a conversation...
We normally go to the Tempe location this was are second time at this location. Food was all called returned 3 items back. Was told they would take off bill but was on there had to ask to take off which they did. Very helpful staff just expected to be in a better location to sit at and was for a company xmas party. But will have to pick a different location next year.
My wife and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and were going to the Trans Siberian Orchestra and decided to try out the Culinary Dropout. We were relatively surprised on the food, service, and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.
the volume is UP so be warned. we sat outside and enjoyed the night air. service we great. very attentive and helpful. cool joint. great location. so much that we walked across the street to a different bar for a night cap.
Our food was really good, especially the pretzel with fondue, but due to the loud band (and typically we love live music, I swear!), I wouldn’t come back for a date night.
Extremely noisy place, the staff can barely hear the orders and even mixed up on some. Next to impossible to have a conversation.
Food was good, but not amazing.
Place was crowded, noisy, and service was slow. Waitress apologized and said, "bar was backed up." It was so loud we could hardly hold a conversation. Food was by and large good, but husband complained his breakfast burrito was lukewarm. Probably wouldn't return to this location.
The music was a tad bit too loud to hold conversations but overall was a beautiful time.
We came in for a five o'clock reservation before a show. The restaurant wasn't full by any means but we were seated in the dead center of the place. When we requested a booth off to the side we were told that they had other reservations taking those tables. When we left at seven for our show there were still booths on the side open. The food was tasty but the service was non-exsistant. It took twenty minutes to get four waters and two samples of beer. Over the next two hours we saw our server a couple times not counting the alternate person taking our credit cards after waiting ages for the bills to be picked up. It's a bummer cause I'm a fan but this sure soured the experience.
The service was amazing. We ended up having more guests attend and the servers were able to secure the table next to our reserved table. Thank you again!!!
