Food was good. Waitress wasn’t friendly and tried to rush us despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Didn’t brighten up until she delivered the bill 😕
If you are looking for tasty food with a fun atmosphere even in our new physically distant environment, this place hits the spot! The staff and the service provided were amazing! All staff were properly wearing masks and the rules of when to wear your mask while in the restaurant were clearly explained. On the table, there was a card outlining the cleaning protocol for the table and settings plus the name of the staff who was responsible. It was a very relaxing and friendly environment. Sitting outside was very comfortable with their mister system. We will be back soon as this restaurant has really put in the attention to detail to make their diners feel comfortable and welcome as we are all in this together!
10/10 amazing all around made the day special. Food is amazing.
We would like to go again but conversation is difficult due to the noise level from the speakers. There is enough noise from the street traffic that piping in loud music is a real detraction. The food was good (especially the vegetarian option which two of our party had) and we like the open air feeling. In fact, with the virus, we felt somewhat safe because it was not enclosed. But, the noise level just isn't suitable, so I doubt we will ever come back. Too bad.
Great food and great ambiance. Service was great as well.
You can always count consistency here. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere never disappoint!
Was very spaced out to accommodate social distancing.
Drinks were spot on and the food was terrific.
Good food in a fun atmosphere. We had brunch and sat inside. The noise level was low.
We sat outside and they did a great job with social distancing. And, they were very accommodating when we showed up with an extra person. Our food and service were both excellent!
Brunch was great - food, service, compliance to social distancing - so glad you’re back open. A favorite of ours from the beginning!
Great night second time here. We stop always when we visit from Oregon !!!
I love Culinary dropout! The best of all worlds, phenomenal service, amazing atmosphere, and great food all I was missing was the valet.
The new measures to insure a safe dining experience were well executed and greatly appreciated. My two granddaughters were visiting from WA state and it was their first time to fine at Culinary Dropout. They enjoyed every aspect of our evening. Thank you
Thank you for the review, Mark! We hope to serve you again soon!
Love the atmosphere and vibe of the Yard but very unhappy with the over all service. Even though I requested a couch sitting area we were sat at a low table outside next to 2 couch areas that were unused and when asked to move they said this what was reserved and those were unavailable even though neither was taken while we were there. The server came right over took our orders and was polite and prompt but that's where it ended. We got our food before our drink and we all had draft beer. On ordering our entrée server said the soup was chicken noodle but was served kale meatball.
I'll come back but wont be very motivated to A reserve a table and B Order food.
Zack was our waiter. He was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu with just the right amount of interaction. He spoke clearly and with the right amount of volume.
The temperature in the restaurant was comfortable. It was a Wednesday night so the volume wasn't excessive. We had a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience.
Good food and atmosphere. Game area is great and wonderful for company team building night out.
I enjoyed very much eating in this restaurant. The service (waitress) was very good and the food was very tasty. The only problem for me and my wife was that the restaurant and especially our table was very noisy, I can barely hear what what waitress was saying.
Place is great the food is even improved since it opened really a great atmosphere great staff well trained food is awesome loved it
We have gone to CDO several times. We have always had great service and food. It is our go to for out of town visitors. Our server must have been new because he didn’t meet our expectations. We ended up cancelling part of our order because we were almost done with the meal. Very disappointing. We won’t give up though. It is one of our favorite!
Food was good and get busy very fast. Make sure you have reservations. Not enough room for groups over 14 people. But still a great spot!
Staff was great. Ambiance was great.
Overall, very good experience. The food was delicious. The servers were very fun and friendly. It was a bit noisy, but just lots of people having a good time, so we were okay with it.
We came for my girlfriends birthday with friends and family. I had booked the reservation over a month in advance but it still took 15 minutes for us to be seated. After having finally sat down we waited another 15 minutes for service and ended up having to flag down a server to ask if there would be anyone coming. 10 minutes passed for our server to come to get our drink order then waited another 15 minutes before we were even served water. The whole entire brunch was nothing but a waiting game. I’ve been to other Culinary Dropouts around the valley and never had a problem. I would never recommend this location to any family or friends.
The food was bomb (especially those pretzel fondue bites) and I loved the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. I’m glad we made a reservation as it was a little busy.
The food was fantastic, great portions ,great service and moderately priced
Great space for groups
Gosh darn yummy. Way cool waiter.
Drinks were splendid.
Freaking heaven on earth.
“Yum Yum Eat ‘Em Up”
Loved it! Can’t wait to go again!
Really great food and fun atmosphere! We came in with a large party and they totally accommodated us. The only thing I would say was off was one of the hostess's reacted in a rude way when I approached about giving a review. For future reference no matter what the customer is approaching for never turn away from them and roll your eyes like they don't deserve your time because you assumed it was a complaint. Its not a good look! Other than that everything was great!
took customer for business dinner and it was super inviting and fun! great food!
Great food! Great service! Can’t wait to take the kids! I love the potential for large special occasion groups.
Everything was very good. Went with girl friends and we all had different items which we all enjoyed very much. We got the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer which I would highly recommend.
Great food , service , and vibes
My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day. Although we had some issues with one of our meat platters being forgotten, the manager did an excellent job by offering to provide us with a free dessert.
The only thing that bugged us was our waitress didn’t even acknowledge the issue she had forgotten. We weren’t upset, we had asked another waitress on the status and the manager came directly out.
It was a fun atmosphere, the food was amazing, and the band playing was great. We will definitely go back.
I made a reservation yet, they were sitting people who were just getting there.
It was great! Food was very good!
Valentine’s date. Vinyl Station was playing live and they were fantastic. Had dinner and afterwards sat by the fire and relaxed while enjoying the music. Very great date!! And our waiter was the BEST!! John, thx for such great service!!
Absolutely perfect! Great place for a casual lunch date...
First time i have had bad service at this location. Took 30 minutes before server understood that beers came from other bar. Then another 15 minutes to get them. 45 minutes for refills of beers, soda and water is too long. Food thing was original table had a lot of bees around and one child was allergic. Staff was very good about relocating us
It was so loud we had to practically YELL to speak to each other. Never coming back.
