Our server was fabulous ! She made our dining experience very enjoyable. Loved all of her recommendations .
I had the branzino that was cooked perfectly and my husband’s dish of wild boar and polenta was hearty and flavorful. We also highly recommend the octopus antipasto.
Overall, the food was great. Octopus was delicious. As was the butternut squash puree. Halibut was good, but lacked robust flavor. Salmon was excellent.
Definitely a bit pricey, but showing up at the four seasons restaurant and expecting a deal is a fool's errand.
So overall it's really good. Nothing crazy good, but a solid meal.
Server Rene, warm, with great timing and she is very knowledgeable and professional as well!
So far the best brunch place i have ever been to :) i love how there are a lot of options, the staff are very attentive, very pleasant and amiable. The place is quiet although busy. Overall the experience is all worth the money spent! :)
For a hotel restaurant, Culina is terrific. We’re locals and we’ve been coming here since the makeover and it’s still one of our favorites.
And with some thoughtful additions to the menu it’s even better.
Soup! Zuppa Ribollito, a Tuscan vegetable potage, was the highlight for me.
Attractive salads, marvelous pastas (try the pappardelle with wild boar ragú) and a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere.
Dress up or dress down, you won’t feel out of place.
Good food except a very boring salad.
Good happy hour wine and cocktails.
We had the best experience. All the staff goes beyond to go over your expectations.
They have the best food, high quality ingredients, best service; I totally recommend Culina. It’s an experience to have as many times as possible.
Their Sunday brunch is as well outstanding!
Daniel and Kenny are the best
Outdoor Garden like scenery. Food was great! Great place for get together with friends. Quiet relaxing and enjoyed their delicious dishes.
We have been going to Culina for years...has been one of our favorites....not sure what is going on but the food wasn't very good...the pasta dishes had minimal taste....were dry...below average...maybe new chef needed...sorry ...but will be a while before we return.l
We went for Saturday Breakfast. Their eggs, bread and tortillas were some of the best I have ever had. We sat on the patio, which was so serene and so LA chill, this is the place to go when you want to have an almost spa like experience during a meal.
The pasta from regular menu was very good but the lunch buffet meat and salmon were very dry and could not eat at all. The dessert looked nice but taste was just too sweet.
The worst thing was their service quality. The lady of our table was okay but other servers were very un-manner and need to have training again.
The food is very tasty and the environment in which it is located is nice. There is subdued lighting throughout the place with a water and fire accent outside. There is an occasional vehicle noise from the main street located nearby. I would have enjoyed my birthday meal more if the hostess seated us in a bigger table such as a booth. We ordered several dishes and space was limited since our table was small and barely enough for our drinks and one dish.
Completely lack of staff. Had to wait 1/2 hour for water and another 40 min between starter and the second course
The brunch is amazing. What can you say? Except: leave your screaming, snotty children at home... PLEASE?! Otherwise the staff is great and the food is delish.
My wife and I and the other couple went to Culina about a month ago and were so taken by it we had to return. Every aspect of this restaurant can be described as perfection. However, be aware that perfection comes with a price -- a very, very expensive one. Also, a word of warning: if you order a mixed drink, the bar is separate from the restaurant and their prices are obscenely high. Will we go again? Yes, but only for a special occasion and/or with the occasional 30% discount from Blackboard Eats, which we had for this dinner.
The food was good but not great. The decor was beautiful and especially the outside patio. Service was superb. Cocktails were way overpriced.$24 for one martini is absurd.
Our server was wonderful and it was a perfect 4th of July brunch!
Quite , pretty place and good service!
A Perfect place to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. I love the wine, its good. Our waiter, Urzula( the italian server) is always smiling and she always check us once in a while. She gave us a cake for our anniversary. We appreciate it !
Surely, much recommended place and will be back again .
Good job !!!!
We've been going to Culina since it reopened a few years ago, and we've never been disappointed. Their food is imaginative and well-prepared. There's something for everyone on the menu. Prices a little on the higher side, but not unaffordable. Take advantage of occasional Groupons!
We have been going to Culina for a number of years; the new chef has brought it to the level where it was when Ashley was there. We are excited to have revisited one of our perennial favorites and will return very soon and eat their sumptuous pasta and Branzino again!
Sat outside and it was very pleasant. Had the bronzino and it was excellent. Waitress was great.
Culina is such a special place: wonderful food, friendly service, beautiful room, lovely outdoor space, I can't say enough. We started the evening with wine and cocktails, excellent. Our octopus appetizer was cooked to perfection, not rubbery like some restaurants. My branzino and her halibut were also prepared beautifully and tasted delicious. Dessert was your well-known home-made gelato. I can't wait to return.
Food was good quality but service was just not good. 3.3 hrs for dinner is not reasonable.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary last week. We were greeted at the desk by name and offered congratulations on our special day. The server was also very attentive (yet not intrusive) and offered congratulations. Between us we had the octopus appetizer that was outstanding, butternut squash soup, lasagna and wild boar. Dessert was comped. All the dishes were prepared perfectly, served hot, and were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
On an evening where the restaurant was half full our party of 8 was seated next to the private dining room which, according to 4 different staff members, has poor sound insulation. After appetizers and one round of drinks the manager came to our table and shushed us after the real estate group in the private dining room had complained about the noise. In one moment the entire celebratory mood that I flew 6.5 hours across the country to create with my team, was ruined. We had been scolded. After a few minutes I called the manager over and offered to be reseated on the patio—we had no desire to ruin the evening of the other group—and was accommodated. The rest of my group was ready to walk out the door without finishing dinner. The manager proceeded to go out of her way to take care of us to make the situation right with scrumptious desserts and sparkling rosé which was appreciated but the mood of our group never recovered. Ironically the group that complained about us came out to the patio after their presentation and were so loud that we couldn’t hear across the table. Ridiculous!!
To be clear: the environment is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff made the best of an awkward situation. But we are left wondering:
1) Why would you ever seat a large group next to a room that you admit has very thin walls?
2) Why in the world wouldn’t The Four Seasons soundproof the room if they know this is an ongoing issue?
3) Why would you scold a large group at a celebration business/birthday dinner and not offer an alternative such as “we apologize that we seated you next to a room with paper thin walls—may we reseat you on our stunning patio?” instead of treating us like a group of unruly children and leaving it to us to come up with s solution?
I come to LAX all the time on business to spend time with my team and there’s always a boozy dinner at some point. Unfortunately for Culina we won’t be back any time soon.
The food was excellent. We shared the steak that melted in our mouths.
The lunch menu is small but the food was very good. We ordered octopus and it was amazing. The tuna salad was so so but the service was excellent. They made us the truffle risotto from the dinner menu and it came with white truffles. What a nice lunch.
Probably the best brunch in Los Angeles.
It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny.
Everything was so perfect, wine and drink list, atmosphere, we sat outside, heated and covered, but felt like it was a perfect
Night outdoors. Food was above expectations, waiter was very attentive.desserts delicious!
Food and service always excellent.
Great food and service was also great. It was our anniversary and they went out of there way for us
Top notch and always classy, Culina never disappoints! The food and service are impeccable. Great spot for a date or even a night out with friends. Menu options are superb.
I picked it for dinner with my married daughter. We had a lovely table, first class food and service, and a terrific evening. The executive chef came out to introduce himself to us. It isn't often I get a chance to have dinner one on one with one of my children, but my wife was out of town visiting her brother and nieces, and my daughter was free. A great choice all around.
“Mamma Mia” menu is bringing Italy to LA ! Thank you Chef Luca (and Mamma Grazia) what an amazing experience!!! 😊👍👏👏👏
Absolutely stunning place with food and service to match. Can’t get in to Felix or Bestia again? Drop what you’re doing and go here.
This is the restaurant inside the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. We made a reservation for Saturday breakfast/brunch. It wasn't too crowded at all. Unfortunately, the patio was reserved for private event, but we sat inside by door. The whole hotel has a gorgeous setting with lots of plants, trees and flowers. The food was good, but pricey. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for hotel guests if looking for a breakfast that is quiet in a nice setting. Looking forward to trying the big Sunday brunch sometime.
Maitre D / hostess were than ideal. All other staff was great.
